YES, actually! Not wild ones out in the Wildlife Loop, of course. That'd be suicide. I gave a 'domesticated' one on a farm a head pat once, though! I was safely behind fence. We have a saying in South Dakota, "Don't pet the furry tractors!" 😅

Great video. I guided deer and turkey hunters fir an outfitter in Hulett in 98. Moved north to another outfitter in Alzada. MT. and worked ranches all the way to Bell Creek MT. Beautiful country thanks for reminding an old man about his experiences. Did it for 5 years .

We LOVED WYOMING! Visited there last year. LOVED CODY, WYOMING! Walked to the base of Devils tower, spent the day in Hulett..AWESOME MUSEUMS! Experienced the wildlife of Yellowstone and the Yellowstone lake, Grand Prizmatic Basin..on and on! Great video, Jess! Enjoyed seeing the memorable sights, once again, from your ride!❤

So... a bit of history/trivia for you. At about 14:09 the landscape you were riding through was pretty baren, with lots of new growth. When you were VERY young, probably a new-born, Yellowstone BURNED. This was in the summer of 1988, and I was serving in the Air Force in the opposite corner of the state. All that you saw recently was new return growth from a fire that in some areas, burned so hot it has taken THIS long for the foliage to return. Thought you'd like to know that. I'm glad you showed it to us.
I really want to take my wife up there to see Yellowstone. I was there when I was in my early teens. I need to go back!

I remember that summer.... I was in high school then and worked at Albertson's in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The whole summer was hazier than I have ever seen any forest fires create and I remember having a sore throat because of it. I was thinking those exact thoughts you put down... man it took a long time for just the shrubs and smaller growth to come up! Love my Wyoming more and more!

What a good chance to try out different bikes and see some great scenery! My daughter and her riding buddies were there in Wyoming last week. Unfortunately, they got rained out of their planned ride through Yellowstone and wound up going there by truck in the rain. We got to meet up with them in Nevada coming back and ride with them for a day. Good video, hoping to make it up there ourselves next summer!

Epic video of an epic trip. I've seen both bits of these location on several videos now from different content creators in example, you, Amanda and Josh and I would absolutely love to go there and see these locations for myself at some point. Wyoming is definitely pretty!

Hey Jess. The Old Man Here. To answer your question. Hell naw, I would not pet the Fluffy cow. They are very unpredictable and territorial. Fortunately, while I drove semi trucks. I have been through Wyoming several times. Last time, there were Native people having silver and turquoise jewelry for sale. Unfortunately, I was short on funds. Maybe next year, I'll finally own a bike and get to ride out there once more. You and Jordan be safe out there.
