Awesome video. This one along with another helped me to replace our resin. We recently had a few water line issues and eventually started experiencing water pressure issues. After troubleshooting and several resolution attempts including flushing the water heater, I realized (in by-passing the softener) that the pressure loss was related to the softener. With that in mind, these videos helped me realize the resin might need replacing. Yep. That did it. Thanks for creating this video!

Kenmore, Whirlpool, Morton, Northstar, Ge, etc., are ALL made the same by Ecowater

how'd you get the riser tube back in the tank once you had all the resin in there. shouldn't put the the tube in first and pour the resin around it?

I'm so sorry , it's been a while since I did it. If you put the resin already, add some water and the tube should slide in . I think you can put the tube in first and pour the resin around it. I'll watch the video later and see if it jolts my memory.

It makes no difference to line up the tank and the head. It doesn't matter at all.

Jolo. You are correct. I did it only as a precaution as it was the first time I took it apart.

It was a good video up until you started going back in with the resin and tube you lost me as to getting the resin and how much to use and getting the tube back in before or after adding resin. Slow down. You are dealing usually with first timers out here
