Thats about the best design I have seen, it's functional and looks good. The way things are going with utility prices we are all going to be making these. Thank you.
Thanks so much, this is definitely the best design I've found. I immediately went to the store and made two of them; a smaller one and a bigger one. Then using them for the first time, I found out that you must not move the thing once it's burning. I also found out that the metal eye on top will get very hot too ha ha! So be careful with that!
There's a video of a sailor who almost burned her boat down. I don't know who originally started the trend of blocking off the hole at the top in order to create a work of art. It's a simple version of a convection heater. However if you block the top hole the heat is trapped, temperature rises and you create a potential incendiary device.
yeah, i like the design, one of the better simple to make ones, but if i make any i will definitely drill a few holes in both pots for the hot air to escape - maybe opposing each other between the two pots
Electrical rates have almost doubled in Richland WA due to some "new" projects. People are protesting (real) & taking pitch forks to city hall... (not real) I am investigating how I can at least stay warmer in the afternoons in my small apartment. Two of these with Crisco shorting candles would burn for 6 ++ hours for just pennies. Safety is a big issue I would put them on a cookie sheet with a ceramic tile under that. Never leave them alone. Going to the garbage bin, I would lift the lid blow them out. Never sleep with them going. Thanks for the video.
Them flower pot heaters needs thicker richer flames for it to work.I would avoid using Tea Light candles. Its a video called "The Ultimate Flower Pot Candle Heater-DiY Radiant Space Heater" He use some type of cotton to get better flames vs them tea light candles. And try using Corded In-Line Duct Fan from the Home Depot or something to circulate the heat.
excellent design. I've seen other videos where they add a few nuts and washers , stacking them on the inside.(nut, washer, nut, washer...) it's suppose to help put out more heat? Would be cool to see a test to see if that is correct
Mine caught fire. I bumped it and the tea light wax spilled and caught flame 🔥 the bolt to stop it from going to high you might want to reconsider. If it should catch fire you can cut off the oxygen easy by pushing that piece up.
Need to make one of these for my P/U truck. I haul travel trailers with my dually truck & have the front seat & back seat taken out & made a tiny bed in back to sleep in. I have plywood on the floor in front laying level . This could heat up my truck while I am sleeping on those cold nights in the winter months. Does it admit any Carbon monoxide?
What would keep the melted wax from leaking down out of the dish you have the candles in through the hole with the rod and bolt? This could cause a flash flare if it did. That would be a bad thing.. I love these and thought about making one, but this concerns me.
I love the design of your flower pot heater. As I was ready to proceed with making one, I thought that maybe this wasn’t a good idea for my camping. I have COPD and wouldn’t this type of heater suck the oxygen out of the closed-tent environment?!?
Great idea., just like the other 20 people who have invented the same gadget or so who claim to get heat out of four candles with clay pots. In reality, burning three candles to get heat costs more than an Space Heater. 30-12 hours candles cost about 15 dollars at Walmart. If you burn just three candles a day, that makes 30 candles every ten days, it will cost you 45 dollars a month, and you don't have to worry about burning candles every night.
Get VSDC and clip out the time that you spent spinning the bolts down. Here is some video that I made about these using this program: ruclips.net/video/A9P7A5aq3ZA/видео.html
Justlight the candles, with or without the flowerpots the candles emit the same amount of heat, buying pots is just throwing money down the window. Anyway human stupidity is limitless, it's impossible to heat a room with some candles!!!!!

How much this everything cost you to make?
Oven mitts or potholders next to the heater would be a must...also a cookie sheet to lay it on to blow out flame.
I like that you put the loop on the top outside of the pot. I'd like to get one ready in case the power goes out.
i like that idea. looks so much more stylish than most of these heaters i`ve seen. i`m going to give this a go.
I like your design, best out of all I have seen
That's Awesome... Love that design!!
Je connaissais depuis longtemps la technique .
J'avoue qu'ici, secure- elegant- portatif !!!!!
Actually, well done. Omen of the BETTER designs I have seen using this concept.
👍🏼👍🏼 Nice one.
I just built it for a boy scouts trip. Can't wait t use it. Great video!

Best video of this type I have watched. Thank you
Best design I ever seen !! thx bro !
I like your design, but I think I would get a larger diameter base, too make it more stable.👍
Beautiful design. Thanks for sharing.
Man, I’m subscribing! Great vid, thoroughly enjoyed it. Peace
Can u add a shopping list I like to try this for an upcoming camping trip

Love the handle. Make sure you Don't tight your nuts to much on the pots, they expand, might crack you pot
This is the best one
I suggest using epoxy (J.B. Weld) to lok the screws and nuts in place.I glue the washers too.

Very good design
Very nice
Thank you
Awesome!!! Thanks a lot, God bless you:)
Gracias por enseñarnos. Thank you for teaching us.

THATS SUPER CUTE!!!!! thank you! you should sell them too
Looks nice !
Really good video. thanks.
What sort of metal is that rod? Some are zinc and others are,,, What metal will get the hottest? And how long is the rod for the six inch pot?
I made one, the candle tray and pot not aligning properly. What could be the reason??
Absolutely love
Cute!
thank you!!

thank you
Does anyone know how long the steel rod is? 😊
12 inches i.e. about 30 cm.
awsome I got one made but yours look perfiict im going to make mine look like yours toorrow imma go to the store and get the parts good job
Does the Eye bolt ring get to hot to touch?
Absolutely, which, imo renders this design both dangerous and faulty.
how u deal with the co2 ,in a room not ventilated for 24hrs?
ventilate it :))))
if you are using 4 tiny candles you don't need to worry, place a co2 sensor near by you will see it wont set it off
Shopping list plz? 😊🙏
Thanx for sharing.
You can use otdinary drill bits; but be careful not to chip or break the pots.
WANT MORE HEAT ADD ABOUT 6-10 LARGE FLAT WASHERS ON THE INSIDE. IT WILL RADIATE HEAT LONGER AND HOTTER.
Are the temp inside safe for galvenized steel?
With oil is super. Not smoke

How efective is this? How big of a room can get warm?
Made mine tonight…
I wish you had a list so it's easier to buy the items needed
Yes i was gong to ask the some 👍💕
List is up now
I just made it today
Very Good!... 80 🐄🦉🏴☠✝
Fantástico... grácias

Foil
"Warsher" sounds like you come from Manitoba?

You should use bees wax. Its not poisonous.
You need a Mr. Buddy heater for camping. Safe for indoors…
Great job .. Thanks .. :-)
You showed how you put it together, but you never showed us how it worked with the candles in it & if there was any heat coming out???
It works i have not tried this design. But plate pennies and tea candles with clay pot
Está chingón
Hi can you pls tell me all of the stuff you bought thnxz
......what square footage will it heat and what was the maximum temperature ? Thanks , GRIZZ
what lengh is the 3/8 rod. I couldn't find one that was short so I had to get a 2 ft. and cut it
Crickey you have a business there
Movie Maker if you have a windows PC
what kind of metal the screw has to be. Galvanized , stainless steel?
Any
@@rosieking383 No, not galvanized. Stainless steel is best.
Echt leuk, dank je wel.
put a stove fan on top see what that does
The present and the future of house warming, overal here in Europe.

Thats all wrong the larger pot needs a open hole otherwise it wil not work !!!
Do keep in mind, the oxygen level will drop, so open a window. ( No, not windows10 ;-))
very nice! And I think you are a very attractive man...
😁
Bullshit total energy 1 candle= 20W
Justlight the candles, with or without the flowerpots the candles emit the same amount of heat, buying pots is just throwing money down the window. Anyway human stupidity is limitless, it's impossible to heat a room with some candles!!!!!
Your parents & society has failed you 😔...I don't blame you & your simple mind ....one day you'll figure it out ...keep trying champ
This ofcourse doesn't work
