this is literally GOLD!!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! i dont know how many videos and charts and books i've looked at and this video was clear cut and to the point! thank you!!!
I always wonder why the stress test is on a treadmill and not a stationary bike which would significantly reduce movement by the patient (and "artifact").
Hi! What does stress mean in this context? Is it psychological stress included? Because I have a project in which I need to determine psychological stress from an EKG and I really dont know how to determine that from an EKG.
*Can anyone tell me what this means? Was on my sisters stress test* Exercise EKG stress test was 1 millimeter upsloping ST depression inferolateral leads
It usually doesn't mean anything, as upsloping ST depression is frequently associated with exercise. This is most probably a normal expected finding. However, if your sister showed clinical symptoms of low cardiac output during the stress test, this should be further investigated by coronary angiography.
I came to this video with the same question, I have frequent PVCs (16k-20k per day) and they generally went away while exercising, but the doctors notes mentioned something like "non specific upsloping ST-T wave changes" and I have no idea if that's good or bad

i have watched 100 s of videos yours were the best at explaining it. you got my heart
Best explanation. Shorter and to the point with nice visuals
Thank you so much. Simple and clarified my confusion on identifying ST segments

This is just amazing, thanks man 👌🏻
Fantastic explanation
Thank you so much...such a remarkably clear explanation!!
Thank you so much

What does nonspecific st changes means?
How digoxin effect the st segment ?
downsloping ST segment depression
what is the meaning of Non-specific ST-T wave changes? is it safe or not?
This reply may be too late, but it’s my understanding that this indicates ischemia

Katie, It means insignificant. Don't worry. That's nothing.
Thanks!
My test states “ Nonspecific ST and T abnormalities” abnormal ECG....what does that mean?
No unfortunately
Hi r u OK now mine also same
