Michelle Yeoh can do Anything. She is one of my favorite story tellers of all time. Grace, Beauty, martial arts, dance and wit. A voice that draws you in and a calm presence that can fill the entire screen with an absolute sense of captivating stillness. She is the full package. I am happy she has this role to share her funny bone. Thank You Michelle for all you have shared in cinema. You are a treasure.
Great interview. Love the cast. Paul Feig is wonderful generous director. Michelle is amazing, so happy she got cast in this comedy. Love them both 💜Emilia & Henry. Leading man Henry from Borneo. Michelle is from Malaysia. Shout out to Bornean & Malaysian in Hollywood & London. Bornean fan in NYC
Borneo is not a country but a big island shared by 3 countries i.e. Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei. Henry is from Sarawak in Borneo which is a state of Malaysia. The other Malaysian state is Sabah. Brunei is sandwiched between the 2 Malaysian states. The southern part of Borneo is Kalimantan which belongs to Indonesia.
@The Handicrapped Stain What hidden agenda are you talking about? It's just a simple lesson in geography about Malaysia. By the way, just for your knowledge, there are a total of 13 states and 3 Federal territories in Malaysia. Michelle Yeoh is from the state of Perak which lies on the peninsula side of the country. No pun intended.
Regardless is the correct word. Look up the dictionary for the correct information and not from stupid google. I’m sure of it. 100%. Because there is no such word as irregardless. It’s some of the common mistakes in english. Eg “Regardless of race”. You don’t say “irregardless of race”. Because there is no such word. Lol
Interesting, but not a SINGLE mention in 33 minutes of the fact that Emma Thompson wrote the movie around the music of the late great George Michael who died on a Christmas Day (and it's titled for one his biggest hits) who was/is a legend of the British music industry? Nothing???
@ Vamps Rock That’s exactly what Emma Thompson said in EVERY interview she had for this movie! As much as it was a good story on how she and her husband started writing the script, frankly I’ve heard it so many times!
The interviewer seems to deliberately ignore Michelle most of the time during the interview just like MSNBC and other US TV networks' interviewers did to Andrew Yang during the 2020 Democratic Party presidential debates. I might be wrong but I sense that racism is still very alive in the States.
As a Brit living in the UK, I’ll just have to take your word for it about apparent racism in the US TV networks, but I wouldn’t consider this interviewer guilty of that during this interview. Whilst I too wished he’d given more questions to Michelle, nevertheless I wasn’t surprised that he had more for Paul, since I’ve seen various interviews where directors seem to get the lion’s share of questions over any cast members also present. To his credit, the interviewer did apologise to Michelle for seemingly overlooking her, which she accepted with grace, saying she was happy to sit on this “masterclass” interview with the director. Good to see her get most of the audience’s questions at the end though!
Dont let that distract you. He asked some very pertinent questions and dug out interesting nuggets about the workings behind the movie. I learned alot from Paul Feig and absolutely appreciated these probes. And like Michelle said it was like attending a Masterclass. I really enjoyed it.

31:14 irregardless. 😂 I guess she meant to say “regardless”

Megan Chen try harder. You can use it more often during conversations. If u wanna make yourself look stupid or uneducated.
@@alvinmah6148 That's a lot of arrogance coming from a person who forgets how to start a sentence with a capital letter and uses text speak.
@@alvinmah6148 Oh and when you use the abbreviation of exempli gratia it is written "e.g." and not (as you wrote) "Eg".
@@alvinmah6148 Hope this helps so you do not come across as stupid or uneducated in future.

You must not have watched the video in its entirety because she does mention Emma Thompson writing the story for someone very dear to her at 9:57

Vamps Rock Michelle did mention Emma Thompson🧐
You know... There are many angles to sell a story... This is just one of the many..
Paul mentioned Emma too

Agree with you, perhaps the interviewer is less informed about Michelle yeoh.
I agree. He didn't help support her during the interview much at all
If Feig would put even a fraction of the thought given to his wardrobe to his work, his movies would not suck.
But they do.
wait If Michelle is santa why does it feel more and more like Michelle and Henry is like a ghost or something
SUPER COP!!!!!!!!!
That interviewers voice is kind of irritating. 🤔
@The Handicrapped Stain 🙄

The two men were arrogant. It’s more than 3 minutes and they still haven’t introduced Michelle, the lady yet. So I stopped watching
I feel bad for Michelle to have to work with that guy. He is the cringe before the shit storm.
She's not his mother in this one too, is she?
No, she isn't
she is. Watch the movie. U will understand
