Wish Lego makes more of historical crafts such as this. It would be great for educational purpose and display rather than promote war, which doesn't violating their policy.
Lego need to do more historical sets. They keep saying that lego doesn't want to promote violent but look at Star Wars, Marvel, Nịnago,... It's not that i complain since i'm an huge Star Wars collector, but they should makes more set like this; much more quality and educational than craps like NexoKnights and Ninjago
What do expect when you cut people with an lightsaber, or shoot them with an blaster gun. It's fictional but the idea is still violent. They created that policy long ago when toys are still very non-violent, tamed and can say boring. I see this set as example showing they are loosening up this policy
Id love to see model tanks or warships, I know that Lego doesnt like to do "violence" but if they use blasters, pistols, crashing, warplanes, etc, a tank or ship or warplane isnt any worse. Plus, id love to build a model tank piece by piece rather than assemble a bunch of big pieces like you get in some model kits. Granted, the Lego sets would be a tad on the expensive side, but for one or two sets I might splurge and indulge.
I wish they would do the Fokker DR1 at the same scale, so I could have them suspended from my ceiling dog-fighting. I got this set when it was released, and the promotional set was a mini version of the Sopwith Camel. Love them both.
I've had this model for a few years as I'm an airplane fanatic, and the wings are starting to bend because the weight. I'll take it apart and put it together because I don't think I did it right in the first place because the control stick is a little different :P
Oh hi, LevelCap. This set is awesome. I really really want one, but I have no space for one, and no money, either xD I'd also love for them to make more WWI - WWII fighters and planes.
This wasn’t recalled/violated the rules for military models but an officially licensed V-22 with no weapons with orange and rescue pieces violated the rules for military models
this is not the firs time Lego has done the Sopwith Camel - set 3451 Sopwith Camel from 2001 is quite impressive. Although while 3451is impressive it suffers from some design floors - ie the landing gear tends to fall apart. Set 10662 looks to have fixed may of the sets 3451 issues by taking advantage of the newer style of technic pieces.

Tran Hoang Hieu yeah it would be great to see some battle ships or a tank.

Tran Hoang Hieu they said that they didn't want to glorify war so no military sets, it wasn't just violence

Tram Hoang Hiue did someone get there feelings hurt?
Lego needs to make a Spitfire in this scale!!! Boy, I love that plane!!!
The Lego WWI airplanes are really cool. I wish they were still manufactured though, they're sort of expensive nowadays.
One of my favourite models, brilliant

I am very pleased that the action feature works well but also doesnt detract from the look.

A Landship set would awesome
This is just to awesome! I never heard of this but I wish I had it !
This set is amazing! I got it a year or two ago... I wish Lego would have made more warbirds, or just planes in general!
This is one of the coolest LEGO sets I’ve ever seen and I wish LEGO had more military planes because there awesome
When I opened this on Christmas of 2016 I was so amazed
my grandpa has the old LEGO biplane and I remember being so jealous xD
That is such a cool set, one of the only two military themed sets by Lego.
lol I watched this on levelcap and brickvault
I didn't know you were levelcap
Good video, still have this to build. Thank you.
Cool
Do all the members of BrickVault have their own SigFigs? You could make a video showing all of the members of BrickVault and their SigFigs!
I had the original version of this (3451) growing up. Took the better half of a day to put together, if I remember correctly.
omg i want it so much. thnx 4 review
Cool plane man!
the wing decals are the symbol of the royal airforce

When I saw Levelcap Ali was sure I clicked on the wrong video
As the strings go OVER the stickers I think Lego should've really made those pieces printed pieces rather than stickers.
Those symbols are called roundels if you were interested.
when did it come out?
Great model, great video. Actually the engine type is Radial not Rotary.
I swear that lego doesn't make military sets
Legs doesn't like to have sets that depict real war or based on real war....so how the hell is this is set??
Two-Face It's related to world war 1. But technically it's just a plane and no direct relation to WWl.
@@icantthinkofaname7293 the plane has a gun on the front....
@@443tify This is three years old but you're right.
America has an unhealthy obsession with WWI and WWII
Battlefield 1 is awesome
ps the glass was there to stop oil for geting in the pilots face
I've had this since I was 8 I think for Christmas
Can you fit. A fig inside
Lego motion Picture studios looks like it twice minifig scale

That's not a Camel, the two seater in Bf1 is a Bristol F.2.B Battlefield 1 does have the sopwith as well, though

Hearing LC's voice in this video felt super weird.
Also, why do you showcase a retired model from 2012, it's so price fixed now :/
