I remember when you posted your game using this from your Iceland tournament. That was so impressive I almost wanted to start playing 1. d4 just to get the chance to try and balls it up completely! ha ha
It can’t be refuted but like every opening in chess, Black will get equality with best play. The question is whether or not you like the look of the ‘equal’ positions that come up.
This is the opening Simon played his 'immortal' in Iceland with, right?
Yes
So good to see you posting more regularly big man!

I play the slav to 1850 ecf standard, this video scares me !
wow! Nice checkmate in the end
Top Notch, as always good sir. Cheerio!
This looks fun
Good opening and explanation 18:58
very cool variations
I want to purchase some of your courses but I fear that one day I will wake up and be ginger. I don't know how I would explain that.
🤣
Nice
Sac 2 rooks np
This seems really interesting. But as a lower rated player I don't know how often I can get away with playing f3 in the opening 😢
Is The Boor Attack sound?
worst case is that black equalises/ is a TINY TINY TINY bit better which is essentially equal

The boor opening is not boring
Great opening, almost makes me want to switch back to 1,d4
Reti players start with 1,Nf3, how can they get into the boor attack?
cannot do that with 1.nf3 because you will play f3
*NEVER* play f3.
6:25 What if black plays a little more solid and goes ... Be7 instead of ... exd5?
