I'm an experienced collector and I love your vids. You know your plants. Unfortunately there's too many newbies making channels and giving bad advice and confusing beginners to the point that they give up growing. You have a great channel thank you for that! ❤
Oh my gosh, thank you so much!! This means a lot and is very, very much appreciated ❤ Also, thank you for taking the time to write kind comments & give feedback, it means the world
Just wanted to say that as a beginner that only started for over 2 weeks, your videos have helped me a lot and gave me more confidence on how to raise them. Thank you!
That is awesome! 💚 I'm so glad my videos were helpful and wishing you all the luck in the universe with your plants. May they always grow big and healthy☺
I'm going to do a video on that soon but, basically, i water whenever the potting mix dries up. I give them their first drench a couple of days after planting and then wait until the soil is dry. Some cultivars such as Sedum with tiny leaves need more water, especially when warm, and i water those every other day. Hope this helps :)
My howarthia root got rotten, so I had to remove the rotten root and replant it again. But it's 38-42° Celsius here. Should I keep my howarthia indoor under shade?? Please help
You can take it in, if you have a bright spot. They can tolerate the heat though, just not direct sun at those temperatures. We get similar in Summer and i grow mine outdoors, under shadecloth (about 60%) If you have a shaded spot outside, it should be fine there too. I also water my Haworthia quite a bit when we have heat like this. Hope this helps 💚
Should i keep my propagating Succulent leaves moist? I have them in spaghum moss in bright light but have a feeling thats wrong! I love your videos and love your acent! Too many people make videos and tell you to put succulents in regular soil and even a newbie like me knows that that isnt correct. I also keep my succulents either on a bright windowsill that gets a lot of sun or under artificial grow lights. Of course I’m having trouble with one having brown spots on its leaves (echevaria) and I made a succulent terrarium but the other guys are doing fine. You get pretty mixed up watching RUclips videos on plants at least I do!
There's more than one way to do leaf propagation but, personally, i keep leaves dry until they start growing a 'leafbaby' and then plant them in succulent potting mix. I've done a video on Echeveria leaf propagation a few of days ago which explains the whole process 🙂 ruclips.net/video/8jzhjTs_OcQ/видео.htmlsi=sA8D5Bn0Fjq2cw0H It can be pretty tricky to get good advice with anything these days 😅 I find it helps if the creator has some solid experience and grows loaaads of plants, has a nursery etc. I grow ~ 300k plants every year which is nothing compared to big nurseries but it's enough to be able to give advice. But i definitely have my limitations as i don't, for instance, do the diy stuff backyard gardeners do like make my own potting mix or do home remedies for pests. I buy bulk stuff from suppliers... Hope this helps a bit 🙂
