R.I.P Joseph Shabalala, thank you for your beautiful gift of such sublime singing to the world. You inspired me and brought joy to my world. God Bless you.
If you pay close attention, it creates a warm cozy ambiance. It gives you a feeling of being loved and protected. I personally sleep to it. It gives me the most peaceful sleep ever. They are a blessing.
Masterful.... RIP Brother Joseph. You helped to make this sound and this type of music renown around the world! We will miss you and will never forget you!
Beautiful Blessed African Voices...My heart feels like it's about to burst with LOVE watching this...That dance formation is phenomenal... Thank you Ladysmith Black Mambazo. God be with you Always.
The way the lead singer used a sound to caution the third singer by your right and he apologized shows a lot of maturity in the group. 2023 still watching ❤

Lord, when will Africa Golden voice be replaced back again? Africa has wonderful people who have serve as law abiding patriotic in South. Many of our good people have vanish i pray for everyone's who sacrifice their lives for the entire continent of South Africa and around the globe. May their soul continues to grow and rest in perfect condition and let all perpetual light shine upon them as well. God bless Africa
Such a nice and clean song. No cursing and calling women negative names. (Well, if dirty words are used, I can't understand them, due to the language difference, LOL)
@64wing I sang with Joseph in 1988, in a workshop for a week he taught us many Zulu songs including one homesick song which he wrote on the plane to America. The song is called "Thula" and its Zulu words mean: "Be still my heart, for even here you are at home." I'm not sure Joseph has recorded it but it is wonderful.Sobonana, Usale kahle! (Goodbye and stay well)
I love listening to such music, whenever we listen to good music by good musicians, that make us happy. The musicians are always rewarded by God almighty.
The highest degree of confidence and complement standards of performance, praise the Lord, salute to you for integrity achievement salute again for evermore
I'm losing my mum . It seems sad to wait untill she passes to throw her a party. I wish some one could add drum beats to this. I can imagine energetic African drums along side the vocal.. if anyone can do that ( for free or a charge ) please message me or reply here on this feed .

Not what I expected. Still, Some traces of doo-wop and work songs, plus, kicking like that and maintaining breath control is impressive.
