As soon as I saw these pickups, I have been anticipating what they sound like. Now that you have put them through their paces, I want to get a set. Only problem is justifying the pickups would cost more than my '89 Squire Strat. Great playing Perfecto. 👏
Nice quack on the neck pickup but the middle. I’ve never heard a better middle pickup by itself in position 3. Great tone balance from all 3 pickups. Love it ifthey made a HSS set with the CuNiFe wide range added.
They give a Tele-ish flavor, not sure I love the sound but it's nice to to see the option, also hearing them in a full band mix (keys and horns) would be revealing IMO

I have them in my Strat. They don't sound like a tele, they sound like a punchy, glassier, vintage single coil.
They don't sound like a Tele because they do not a steel base plate on the bridge pickup like Teles do.

The cleans didn't sound tele to me. The gritty tones kinda did. But strats can sound tele ish with gain.

I always judge pickups in its clean tone. Yes it sounds different than usual traditional strat pickups. But its own sound is good.
