Workwear is such a minefield for women. We’re navigating formal corporate, business casual, suits, separates, heels, flats. Men have it easy. Suit. Check. Go to work.
That's why I just wear suits to work honestly, anything else is too much work. That's why I watch these to get ideas how to mix it up cause I'm bored fo my all black and all grey outfits lol
@@Captain_Pink Are you a lawyer or, I guess, do you work in the US by chance? I work in biotech & pharma. I cant even remember the last time I saw someone wear a suit, except maybe for an interview. And I’m not even referring just to those industries. Of course, I believe many in NY City still dress up. ✌🏼

Kerina this video just blew my mind, since my closet is full of similar items I almost never have worn like you. Can you please make another video on chic office outfits with flats. I am an administrative assistant but in Greece this involves errants as well, which includes "running" around the company checking everything is working fine, making and serving coffee during meetings, ordering, distributing and storing supplies, as well as many other tasks that require stepping away from one's desk. Any ideas of how to combine a beautiful pencil skirt for example with flats? Please let us know because I've come to hate business meetings!!!
For the first time in my working life (25+ yrs), I can basically almost wear whatever I want to the office .. and they don't care about my ink or piercings either. So nice to be able to be myself! I love your ideas though so still watching this! 💛
Love Lilly Silk they have the prettiest pieces! Love the silk blouses with the the high waisted pants and boots such a great combo! Being in the medical field I have to wear scrubs:( but these look great for date night too!
I'm a shellfish field technician. I'm a Marine Biologist. So my work wear is usually jeans, sneakers/boots for walking around, and a warm heavy duty sweater. On the days where I am not on the field, it is very casual. If I want to dress up, I wear my healed boots, black jeans, and a comfy sweater. Luckily, I much prefer casual, tomboy type outfits and am terrible at putting together business casual wear. (I have big thighs so slacks never fit me nicely, and I do not like wearing skirts/dreses).
I appreciate the casual work outfits! Balancing the casual and work appropriate dressy style is always confusing for me 😅 and the places I’ve interviewed at all have that vibe, where people can dress normal but still have to look nice. Edit: honestly it’s probably the “functional adult” look they’re all doing ✨

Once again, please: WAH ideas! 🙏🏼 😋 I’m ALWAYS stumped because I want to be comfortable (& comfort is acceptable), but I also want to dress for continued growth in my career & mo money! I have male engineers on my team that literally wear baseball caps! 😳 If I / a woman went that cashz, heck NO would we be seen as worthy of a promotion. Anyway - help!!
@@KerinaWang Thank you, gorgeous, but it's not so easy. I don't like pjs on the bottom cuz I don't FEEL put together, ie, brain doesn's shift into gear. As for a "work" top, what is that anyway? A blouse or something I'd wear TO the office is typically a tad too dressy. It's also unCOMFORTable to wear ALL day jumping in & out of meetings. I'm telling you it's a fine line; I see women that get it right & I take note. I have a couple things myself but.. still struggling. 😞Thanks for responding!!
Hello, I love this video but is it possible to have another work video that's suitable for summer time? All work videos I've seen are cater mostly to colder weather and being in a forever hot and humid summer country, long sleeves and coats are absolutely horrible to be in for the day cries
Good idea! it’s funny because inside is usually cold because of AC but it’s hot outside 😂 that’s why blazers are my staples because I can just throw on/off blazers on top of my tanks/camis/tees
