@Normal American Dude He was just a pawn, filthy as he was. The real filth were in Omaha, Boys Town and Washington DC.
The Franklin Scandal, people need to research that, swept under the rug... Hint: Epstein connection
Wow! Will have to check it out. Yeah, the scandal, the criminality all swept under the rug, that is why it was called the Coverup.
Switzer said that 1978 Sooners team was his most TALENTED team he ever had at OU---- Barry said this game vs Nebraska was THE ONE he regretted as Sooners coach..... Nebraska had 5 WALK-ONS playing on their starting defense this game..... Read THAT, AGAIN....
How bad was Frank Broyles as an analyst?
Pro Sooner he was clearly biased.
Switzer was a Broyles disciple at Arkansas, both player and assistant.
@@blakemorgan9378 Jimmy Johnson played College Football at Arkansas a Razorback. Sooey Pig . Jimmy was a head coach @ Oklahoma State and the Miami Cocaines . Kimmy was an excellent coach multiple national championships at Miami. When he was at Oklahoma State, he could never beat the Cornhuskers.
Read Sooner linebacker Brian Bosworth’s book.

Yes it was, and man how we nebraska fans hated that music after those plays haha
12:09 the man who was elected Governor of Nebraska in 2022.
miss frank and keith G-d Bless
There wasn't a better pair. Let's not forget about Bill Fleming's voice also being synonymous with CFB of that era- he's the field reporter. We have garbage today. over saturation
@@kch7051 Agree on Jackson. Broyles got confused too easily for my liking.
@@brianjacob8728 it was the voice combination between the two for me
@@kch7051 Jackson and Bob Griese were better later on. Griese really knew the game after learning it from Shula.
@@brianjacob8728 Well Griese was an all american qb from Purdue so he was well on his way to knowing the game prior to ever meeting Shula. I'm sure Shula, along with the number of hours of film a qb studies, the years worth of reps in practice and live games, we're all big contributors. i just think to rest it all with Shula would be unfair to Griese is all- and I totally agree, Griese was a perfect match with Keith
Has there ever been a better name than I.M. Hipp?
And then...the Orange Bowl Committee thought it was funny to stage a rematch between Nebraska vs. Oklahoma and Nebraska get their hides handed to them.
Think a few times oklahoma was playing 12 men.. maybe nebraska did to at times..
Phelps fumble…“And I mean literally given to Oklahoma”. -Keith Jackson. No matter…Sims choked and the future governor Jim Pillen gets the rock.
Tom Osborne. Souled his soul for Lawrence Phillips! Say a prayer for the girl Lawrence beat to pulp and Osborne betrayed by his need to win football games over doing the moral thing.
Keith Jackson Vin Scully dick enberg Charlie Jones doesn't get much better than that
lol ha!!! my doctor played for nebraska
If it hadn't been for the turnovers the Sooners might have won the game. Still it was a great game.
Can someone give me #48 for Nebraska's name and current address? I'd like to send him a bouquet for knocking that ball out of Billy Sim's arms at end of game.
Helped Alabama get a chance to play #1 Penn State in New Orleans, which with a 14-7 win gave us Natty #10. Had OU won we'd have been playing a consolation bowl game.

"Play against ourselves" silliest statement I ever heard". Now I see why he's just a coach!
Mr. Wizard just a coach? Are you high or dumb?
Whaaaat? You aren't smart enough to comment on Dr. Tom's intelligence.
Ahhhh...I didn’t Rick Berns said that‼️😳😂🤣😂👴🏿
Yep y’all beat us but Boomer Sooner the same!
But I was disappointed that you guys lost to Mizzou the following week.
Boomer Sooner.
Lee, you must be thinking of a different season. The only loss Oklahoma had that year was this one. They were allowed to avenge this loss in the Orange Bowl. A very controversial decision by the Orange Bowl committee to invite the loser of this game.

Speaking as a Nebraska fan thank god football isn't like this anymore. Shit looks goofy as hell.
