Italian fencer Matteo Tagliariol.
The Olympic Games are every athlete's dream, Matteo fulfilled it perfectly in the 2008 season he was incredible, he won 3 stages of the world cup in the 2007-2008 season in Tallinn, Bern and Montreal. It was a great surprise how he abruptly lost his shape and after the Olympics he no longer showed that wonderful fencing that he used to, 2009 World Championships he won a silver individual medal. He is still playing. In one of the last interviews for Online Fencing Games (we recommend watching the interview and subscribing to the youtube channel) he said that continues to fight for getting into the Italian national team at the Tokyo Olympics2021.
