Thank you for your video. My 14 year old son fixed it for me.He combined your video with another video where the dad had his son do it. We didn't even have to take the panel off completely. We skipped a couple steps with much success. I saved $145-200 (quotes I received).
I would be out $200 if I had not watched it yesterday, ordered the part on Amazon. It was here when I got home at 5:30 and I was finished before 6:30. Thanks Sonny

This video has helped me replace to door handles on my car! On the rear passenger door, you do not have to unhook the electrical components. Just unscrew to clips, unhook clips to door panel, and unscrew lock an replace it. Then put everyback together. Thank you for the information and advise. This video really helped.

The chair is a critical part of the instruction. The only thing we messed up was we put the panel back on, but forgot to pull the electrical cord through first. It was simple to pop the panel back off and pull it through to reconnect. We appreciate you taking the time to post this easy repair.

Thanks for posting this. I would have never found the screws to remove the panel. Mine was the passenger door so only difference between driver and passenger door was the number of electrical plugs. Super simple and I found a replacement on Amazon for $14.00. It took me 10 mins to change out saving me probably a whole day of having to leave my car at a mechanic's shop and probably at least $100. So again, thank you for taking the time to post this.
The shop I was at tried to charge me over $200 for the part and replacement. Took me 30 minutes to put the new part in and put everything back together, and the replacement part (with spare retainer clips) was $25.

Called a couple of shops and one wouldn't let me wait while they fixed it and the walk home in the cold is probably 2-3 miles. The other place was super friendly but a 30 min drive. Had an appointment at one and decided I would give this a try. That first panel that hides the first screw almost stopped me, but as they say, I persisted. I saved time, money, and didn't have to wonder if guy sitting in my car had covid. Win, win, win. And felt good that I fixed it. Thanks so much for putting this on.
Hi Sonny. For what it's worth, your video made short work of this job for me. Thanks for taking the time to make and post this. Super easy job once you see it done! FYI for others doing this: Our car has a little red marker light in place of that bottom panel that Sonny snaps out. You can just leave the marker in place if you have it. Using a folding chair or whatever to hold the panel up once you pop it off is key. Makes the job SO easy. Thanks again Sonny!
Oh yeah, one last follow up... On ours, the hex bolt behind the door handle did not have the recess for using a screwdriver. It was 10mm hex only. The other two had the screwdriver recess. If you're going to do this job you will want to check behind those covers, or just have a 10mm socket at the ready.

Follow the steps as this guy did and you can replace the interior door handle perfectly as long as it’s the door handle itself (not the cable mechanism having broken; won’t know until you open up the door panel). Screws are 10mm for certain if have to use a socket wrench like I did.
Great video. 3rd time replacing this shitty part and I can do it faster than you now! $8 part/ 15 minutes would cost a lot more time and money at the dealer!

I found similar replacements on Amazon as well. This just happened to my wife's 2013. Going to attempt to change today.
