It burns very similar to a pellet grill. It burns very clean and little smoke. The only time I have smoke is when I close the slide and starve the fire or I didn’t have the slide open enough to feed the pellets into the burning chamber.
@@GregRocheleau thanks for the quick reply. I'm trying to decide between natural gas, pellet, or just an old fashioned fire pot. I want some real heat.
Really appreciate the review, just bought one at Costco today.
I love this patio pellet heater. I want one!
@@Trumpetmaster77 This has been a nice addition.
Oh man That's a nice addition to any patio
That thing is nice. I want one of them.
I'd vote for this guy. Js.
Thanks for the review. Does the heater radiate heat outwards 360 degrees? What would you say the heat pattern is?
@@jamespritchett6347 You can only feel it in front of the glass. Nothing from the sides or behind.
Great review! What cover did you end up purchasing to replace the non-waterproof version that came with it?
I currently don't have a cover for it
Does it put out a lot of smoke if you have it under a patio cover? Do you know how tall it is? Great review.
It burns pretty clean, not much smoke. Stands at 82 inches tall.
Thats a cool patio heater. With a flame like you show in the video, how long would a 50lb bag of the heater pellets last?
@@JDsBBQnBourbon probably a good 10 hours or more. I don’t think I have ever had it lit longer than 4 hours.
Does it have a smell when it burns? Not allowed fire pits where I live.

I like the flame , but heat output is not what I expected
@@mickeycruz912 You are right, there is not a lot of heat.
Not sure I caught it, but what is the brand/name of the pellets you used? Looking for a cheaper alternative; Thanks
@@ryans8541 I use these pellets. Canawick Long Burning Hardwood Pellets, 8700 BTUs/lbs, 40-lbs.
What was it to get it started??? Name please?
@@menom1305 I use these instant fire starters.

does it ever try to burn up the hopper?
That has never happened to me.

@ I believe natural gas will give you better heat and you will be a better neighbor.
so how long does it last
@@MrRadiodio I burn through about a half hopper in 4 hours
Great no price
Costco has it on sale 199.00
