KevinEDF: I'm going to stop forcing myself to play ridiculous amounts of time to make one video, it's not fun and not worth it. Also KevinEDF: I spent over 100 hours on this latest mission. Another great video though!
Lol this was 100 hours over the last 6 months or something. If I hadn't beat it that day I would have posted a video about what I learned. I've decided that I can't spent a few hours on something without sharing my progress to the channel anymore. But this mission has been my nemesis for a long time 😁
Holy cow, congrats on finally beating this monster of a mission! I recall looking at the upload date on some of the older videos when I started watching through the playlist and was wondering just how long it would take until you finally got through it!
Thanks, I was trying it through out my challenge run series with different ideas. I like how it took a new technique that I learned in another mission to complete this one
hi there! I just soloed m107 online with a quite different build,Spine Driver+Dispersal Mortar/GX Arm Hound+Great Shield/Shield Protection Y+Multi3-4! So first i keep deroys alive like in the video,Spine Driver for drones Dispersal Mortar for bees and queen, then I deal with the whole tadpole phase with ArmHound and shield, for the pillar phase I pick those bees off with Spine Driver while waiting for Mortar reload. I noticed the knockback from the shield really helps a lot so you won't get hit a lot at a same time, while armhound missle has the best projectile speed so i can keep those tadpoles bouncing. I left some tadpoles alive when their numbers are short, then focus on killing those 2 purples. vid here:www.bilibili.com/video/BV1i64y1m7K7 go for part m107 not at youtube cause its a disaster to upload a video in china.
Amazing! Well done. I’m pretty sure this can’t be done with any other class because of the phases. The dash jump twin spear tactic works well by the looks of it.
It's incredible to think that you actually beat this mission online by yourself, and i'm very happy that you've done it many congratulations, also it's strange to see this video right after not much after i asked you infomation about this mission, you went back to this mission beacuse i asked you in the coments or you already haded in mind to try this again? Anyway again many congrats on your succces. Ah yes for the last mission of the dlc 2 i saw your playlist on dlc mission strategy and you already beat that online, inferno, whit limits but only whit your friend, the only time you actually beat that alone it was on hard when you forgot to do that mission, and i remind you that you had left that mission when the dlc 2 came out.
@@pcostel1 ruclips.net/video/sHxFkYSFB_c/видео.html it's pretty straightforward really. The biggest thing is clearing the wasps ASAP, once they die the bike is so fast you are quite safe. You just have to keep track of the order you called your bikes in. If you have 3 already out the oldest one blows up when you call in another, so you might suddenly find the bike you are using explodes and leaves you stranded. ruclips.net/video/sHxFkYSFB_c/видео.html is another crazy run but from 4.1
I used to think 108 was the hardest just because of the amount of enemies that get aggro'd as soon as you do anything. But.. there are no tadpoles in that mission, so I think I will have to change my opinion.
That mission is very rough if you don't take it slow, for sure, or play with random people lol. But this missions difference is there is no way to reset between waves, it is wave after wave until the end. Missions like that are very rough.
If you play with a team you mostly don't need to farm armour. Lots of Kevins videos have higher armour for misions but that's because he's not running optimal classes for missions, usually double rangers. If your team takes optimal classes for missions they are wayyyyy way easier adn you don't need to brute force them with armour. If you play offline it's easier again and missions that are impossible to do solo online as some classes become possible.
Yeah I solo it with Wing Diver, the Wing Diver changes in EDF5 puts her as strongest character, I used to be like you at first thinking fencer was gonna be best again like how he was in EDF4 especially when I saw your class speed comparison video so long ago, but nah I have to say Wing Diver is best, too many other videos from otherJP players that does dlc with low armor using wing diver and its insane & there's even your video on 88 soloing hive with lower armor using Big Bang and Stardust than my fencer run, trust me this in an opinion that has formed from months and months of watching Wing Diver plays. Even in this stage Wing Diver within her limit armor can win. I will admit though it took me quite few retries to finally get it down which is why I only recorded the hardest parts of the stage, got really tired of recording the whole thing. You know what they say the best offense is often the best defense lol. ruclips.net/video/nVRvph5FP_I/видео.html haha I can recall some many times how people dislike Wing Diver class especially when they first play the game, but IMO this class deceives you on what's it's capable of, her cores really changes her capability by a lot later on, first impressions are a bad thing to have this class, you need to give this class some time and experimentation, and you'll see that it's incredibly good class. Don't ask me to try it as Ranger or Raider though, I think its impossible on those classes unless you turning limits off. Also Fencer is the fastest in DLC, Ranger is fastest on bike in non dlc, but not the strongest in both non and dlc, that goes to Wing Diver, with DLC Phalanx making power creep even more, plus Dragoon Lance ZM even in dlc is still a really solid weapon to use with a higher core. I mean kevin even the game description of Wing Diver class saids she's the strongest, can we really argue with Developer over that???
I tried surviving in there many times with no luck, I tried every corner in there lol also I'm surprised the purple tadpoles didn't 2 shot you outside as well, nice job
@@KevinEDF You sure you tried that specific corner I've had to use it many times and I'm very consistent in getting through tadpoles 9/10 times, Only the small green tadpoles can grab me there, plus 2 big purple tadpoles because I guess so huge they clip through while regular sized tadpoles can't even grab at all. Also I kill purple tadpoles every single time before I go into anchor phase that is benefit of hiding in that spot. I also try to single out small greens ones as best as I can because those are ones that actually hit you more accurately than normal tadpole. That spot isn't 100% safe but its very reliable, the fireball hardly hits me, I mostly just get grabbed sometimes. About my corner it isn't specifically on edge of street but rather more in middle of that building blocks, I know you didn't like that area with buildings in your run, but I found that area in generally great slows enemies as its very finnicky for them to navigate through with buildings leaving very little space to move through, ideal for us EDF soldiers but not for giant bugs themselves.
Oh I watched again and it appears you are at a different building than where I went. It must make a big difference. Thanks again for sharing your video
@@KevinEDF Ah thanks, your video was pretty informative as well I didn't think FGX worked so well here, but Ghost Chaser worked miracles on keeping NPC alive in earlier waves so I can see why homing works here. Yes it always feel great to learn a technique in earlier stages to use on later last levels like this one.

Hey I was just wondering on how to disable the weapon and armor limits on EDF 5. Would greatly appreciate a response.
i cant wait for EDF6
*The Question is: How many Controllers have you broken for EDF? ;)*

That amount of armor is just from playing?
DLC 2 boss mission limits 20000 armor on Fencer. I only have about 12500 on him after a few hundred hours.
Unless you play an excessive amount, it is better to farm the armor for 20 minutes here and there. Check out my farm playlist
What a legend. Great job.
Great vid

Thanks I got lucky finding the weapon setup
How do you turn the LIMITS off?
70% mission completion
Good advise Kevin

Yes your comment put it in my mind and is probably why I worked on it. I just didn't expect to complete it as soon hehe
Someone defeated a DLC mission as Ranger, using the Free Bike strategy.
...with 200 HP.
Do you have a link? I would love to see that.

Woo bikes I should try that.......oh yeah, I can't drive a bike lol
KevinEDF maybe try the Type-X. Seems to be the grippiest.
I tried this strategy with z-bike 😂

We can't call you 'Newbie' anymore!
Hooray! Private 2nd class newbie reporting for duty 😁
Man i love this game but i hate the armoe grind you have to do in order to complete higher difficulty lvls
Play with friends.
I understand but check out my farm playlist, if you have dlc you can get a decent amount for about 15 minutes here and there
