I was on the fence about Dong-woo until this week's past episode. He seems like he really has no idea what he wants and is super whiny. It seemed like he was put off by Nadine's directness about liking him, and tried to put her a backup choice, but then got decimated by how badly he struck out with Seul-ki. Then he he finally realized how good of a match Nadine was to him he was then put off by how independent, non-clingy, and open Nadine was as a person. Like Dong-woo seems to really want a girl who likes him more than he likes her and is all over him while he can do whatever he wants. I don't trust him at all. He realized if he dated Nadine, the two really would never be on the same page as she's always going to have one foot in the US going to Harvard and becoming a doctor, while he's just rowing around in Korea with uncertainty.

Seulki has her charm and appeal which is likable and lovable. Nadine is just my favourite person period on the show, she's super smart and sincere and it is really touching and moving to watch her. I don't care that Dong-won doesn't choose Nadine because she's the person to pick herself and the gem that she has, someone who is on her level will more than acknowledge, accept and appreciate her. She's the type to fall for something and someone real and based on companionate love whereas he is the type to fall for romantic love and something and someone that may lack depth.

They like to appear like they’re all in for girl and once she reciprocates, they back out and go for the other girl (that was probably their first choice).
