There is so many cool weapon combos with power stancing in this game. I don't know if you plan another playthrough; the replayability of this game on weapons and weapon combos alone is crazy, despite all the other cool things about NG+.
Also I'm sorry about the power stancing spoiler.. be let's be real. If someone hasn't already said it; someone will. And if you didn't know how to do it, you wouldn't just randomly figure it out on a first playthrough. Its a weird mechanic A LOT of people miss. I didn't know about it till my like 3rd playthrough.
Tip- A Merchant located at the Cardinal Tower bonfire in the Forrest of Fallen Giants. After exhausting all of her dialogue and defeating The Last Giant, she will move to Majula.
our story starts with our old main character Gawblin before he got consumed by the fire. he sayed one last wish that gawblinette will defeat Nashanda and Sinh, the Slumbering Dragon and so gawblinette will always remember that wish no matter how much she dies, and it is the only thing that makes gawblinette continue and make sure to make her dads wish even when she dies a million times and she wants to be just like gawblin in the brutal world of DS2 The end.

There are two NPCs to whom you can simply give the souls of the bosses in exchange for weapons and magic. The first one is at this location, but it is petrified, so don't spare the branch
You can respawn bosses and do them alone and then again with summon :) At 3:58 there was a invis guy sitting down :O amazing that you missed him with your attack. this video is awesome :D the battle is real !
No summons is just silly. Before putting on difficulty restrictions - try finishing the game at least once - and here you should use any means that can help you beat it.
7:16 that door is a shortcut to the boss since the path have less enemies you just have to look up and find the spot to jump from also buy the ring from the cat that gives you less fall damage
Yw for the sword. I knew you were gonna hate the trio as soon as I saw the boss gate 😂. I used the same strat. Stay on the ledge for as long as you can. 10/10 not giving up. Later game keep an eye out for the smelter demon. The giant sword you can get with his soul is more dank than the weed snoop dog chiefs on.

The fly amanita is baaaaack!!! And about the summons: I only used them to get through difficult areas after dying one too many times. But I tried to do Lucatiel's quest and got really mad when I messed it up. So try it if you want, but be prepared for it to fail if you aren't careful or lucky.

final tip of the day for a str faith build early on you probably want to focus str and health, i usually stop at around 30/30, then dump all of my points until i have around 40-50 fatih and go for usually 30-40 attunement as that gives you more and faster spell casts. attunement also gives you agility which is what adp does so you don't have to waste points on adp. BTW you can respec your character in ds2 at the 3 witches if you ever want to reallocate your points

Can you use a summon for a boss, unlock the bonfire behind them and then burn a bonfire ascetic to restart the location (makes it NG+ location) and kill the boss without summons? (Or do the otherwise and use a summon on a powered up boss) Looks like a way to do it, but I never did any quests in DS2

I learned the hard way that there's so much in FromSoftware games that one can miss out on if they're not thorough in trying things out and exploring. And that includes the use of summons. I missed out on dialogue and cool drip in my first run of DS2 by not using a summon. I missed out BEING the summon in DS3, which is a whole alternate path for a certain questline. And I STILL regret my first run beating Quelaag in DS1 wasn't the steaming hot threesome with Maneater Mildred that it could've been. There's no need to force yourself to miss out on what these games want you to see for the sake of some folks who think everything should be a challenge run. Just do what you think is more fun, whether it's solo or otherwise.
I honestly think doing it solo is more fun for me, but if I get swarmed in an area maybe I’ll just call a summon for help to get through the game in a timely manner. Also wanna do lucatiels quest 😎

It's meant to let you kick friendly summons out, NPC or player, so if a runback sucks, you can use one of the random NPC summons to get through it, then kick the summon out before entering a boss room so the damage and health scaling goes back to normal, and you can solo the boss at your leisure.
Do you ever plan on streaming this? Because I’d be glad to watch and give some tips and pointers. Here’s some stuff I noticed: 1. You missed a bonfire and blacksmith in Lost Bastille (at the bottom of the staircase with the barrel you can push down at the top) who is surrounded by chests with upgrade materials. 2. You were using the fire longsword (which really isn’t that good) against the Ruin Sentinels, who are weak to strike, so you should have stuck with your mace. 3. At 3:59 you missed what you were supposed to hit. That’s about it, so far you’re not doing too bad… mostly.
I won’t stream this game since I don’t have a setup for streaming, but maybe in the future I’ll try streaming. I could even come back to these games as well 🤷♂️
GS max upgrade better than any boss weapon tbh, it's scaling is S on strength once you hit around 10-15+ (around that), all you have to do is just level up Strength at that point
@@nutnuttty btw, what i mean 10-15+ is upgrade weapon, it's scaling kinda trash in the beginning, but if you play Scholar of the First Sin edition, the dev make GS with max upgrade a really powerful weapon with that scaling (just to confirm and a bit of fyi)

You really need to stop dodging the way their attacks are going. You should dodge INTO the attack, not away from it. Their attacks still get you at the end of their animation because you're landing where their attacks land and your i-frames are shorter than the attack animation. I hope I explained that well.
