The WHITE TEMPLE in Chiang Rai - Day 54

Day one in Chiang Rai and we’re temple exploring! We visited the two famous temples in the city: Wat Rong Khun otherwise known as THE WHITE TEMPLE, and Wat Rong Suea Ten otherwise known as THE BLUE TEMPLE! Both are two of the most recognised Buddhist temples across all of Thailand.
The White Temple gets its name from the incredible white architecture that dominates the site. The colour is supposed to signify Buddhas purity. Similarly, The Blue Temple is blue all around and is supposed to represent the heavens of Buddhism. Both of these temples were absolutely breathtaking and absolute wonders to behold!
In the evening we explored Chiang Rai’s incredible Night Market and got the best Pad Thai!!!
