- The new Indiana Jones set 77015 is great, way better than the old 7623 Temple Escape, but I thought it would be cool to add Jock's plane.

The set is good, but it can be perfect.
An interesting technique for building a biplane. I'll have to use that for building the Tornado from Sonic the hedgehog.
I don’t think the plane should be included to be honest. It wouldn’t fit with the diorama format
Frankly I think your build alone would’ve been better than the new set. Feels more like the Star Wars Diorama sets.

that shaping of the rear of the fuselage with those large white fender pieces is beautifully done
I thought it was an ingenious repurpose of the Porsche brick.
This is such a beautiful plane build! I wish LEGO would make an expansion set similar to this to give us an updated Jock and some more Hovitos warriors!

I like how there weren’t any illegal techniques in the build making it look like it could be a real set!
Wish it came with one. Really would round out the set. I’m hoping they have another wave and Jocks plane with Jock, Indy, and an additional but slightly different Hovito minifig. Think it’d be one of those $25-$30 sets that fly off the shelf like hot cakes and sell out immediately. Like the entire first wave just did

@@retrorampage9015 it would’ve risen the cost by $30-$40 at most. And this is already a $150 set. Sets that are that expensive are mainly bought by adults for themselves. I’m sure they would’ve preferred the complete scene and spending extra for it over this. Not to say this isn’t still amzing
your vehicles are always so nice and streamlined and detailed, and the little vignettes you build to stage them are always so coolA

I tried making a minifig scale version of the plane myself, but it just doesn't fit in with the diorama! Way too big. This, this is perfectly scaled to it.

Maybe they’ll have the plane as a separate set. If they make it, maybe it’ll come with another native so you can have 2. One outside the temple and the other chasing Indy. Question is, would they put the New York Yankees ball cap on Jock, or will just be a generic cap?

I wonder if the idea of expansion sets would be a good or bad thing?
A sort of set that you can buy to add to another set but can be bought by itself; like a polybag but for a certain theme or set.
Because there's a lot of sets and small builds I wish lego did for some of their existing sets that are missing; so any way to add them, even if we have to pay more would be appreciated. (I was originally thinking of them adding instructions for them in the set, but you'd need the pieces for it and I doubt anyone (myself included) would want to take apart the set to make it, so maybe an extra set/bag would be better?) what do you think?
I think expansion packs for star wars would work (and sell well)....so you buy an xwing, then you buy a set with several sticker sheets, astromechs, and pilots, and you can make your red-5 a red-7 or something. Also that way Lego would sell more xwings for army builders....
They've done a few things like that, like helms deep or the guardians space ship

For me, the set is a little cramped (though I understand why). I'm working on mine to make it more playable (especially the door mechanism) and adding new traps (spikes in the wall and pressure plate shooters). This plane is a perfect addition - you should add a parts list to rebrickable.

I just got the new Indiana Jones set today. And yes, I am quite shocked that they did not include Jock and the biplane. Hopefully LEGO will learn from this and do better in the future.

I think a good compromise would have been a microbuild of the seaplane connected to one of those transparent rods, poised above and to the left of the entrance to simulate it flying around in the distance. Really nice moc though, gorgeous.

You should put these on Rebrickable! They're really good and I'd love to have this as a display model. Especially this Indiana Jones one, the map room and the two Geonosis MOCs. Keep up the great videos!

This should've been either a lego store exclusive or gwp. As much as I would love this as a stand alone set realistically Lego wouldn't do it.
