This was way before iPhones and the Shazam app. Ten years ago, I thought Alligators Coming Up was a Garbage song, and my local radio DJs never mentioned the band name. It wasn't until I played the game Motorstorm and looked into the track "Hell Above the Water" that I figured it all out.

This was an amazing song on an amazing album. It was released on my birthday in 2001. Unfortunately that also happened to be exactly one week after 9/11, which is why I believe this sank without a trace into the cacophony instead of standing out as it deserved :(
