Thank you for watching today's vlog! As mentioned in the vlog, my school year does not end until June 10. All of the teachers in my school have to pack up our entire classrooms and have all of our items stored in an offsite facility because of construction going on over the summer. We need to have every single item packed up before the last day of school because we will not have access to our classroom again once the students leave. I will still have one or two more packing vlogs coming soon! :) Thank you for being here!
Hi Kim, I just accepted a position as a first year third grade teacher! I am so excited! You have been my favorite RUclipsr for a long time and I really look up to you!
The field trip outfit was adorable! Maybe this summer you could film a reflection video of your experience in 2nd. I’m moving from upper elementary resource to lower el (so excited 🥳) and would love to hear your perspective on that transition!
I get very sick on field trip bus rides as well. I had never heard of using alcohol wipes... thank you for that tip! We are out of school now, but I spent TONS of hours packing up my classroom to get ready for school construction AND moving floors/rooms. Have a great rest of your year!
Hi, Kim! I just found you like a month ago and love your channel! I have taught Title I small groups for 7 years and this fall I’m starting my first year as a third grade teacher 😳😁 it was time for a change! Thank you so much for all your videos and positive attitude! You are a joy to watch!!! Tomorrow is our last day with students and then I get to start my clean up/set up of my new room!!! Luckily it’s only just across the hall from my current room, but a lot of things have been left behind! It should be fun!!! Good luck with the rest of your year! I know it gets chaotic!!! ❤️❤️
Hey Kim, happy Monday. You are almost to the finish line. I am done and now I will start all of my home projects but first I will give myself a week off😆
Hey Kim, I'm new to the channel and I think you're the coolest lady! I really want to be a teacher one day and I've been taking notes while watching your videos; you have so many amazing ideas that are so thoughtful and creative. It's really great to see you remain so calm and positive while packing up, I hope you have a good holiday and get the rest you deserve.
After getting motion sick for the better part of my life and now almost entirely through my third pregnancy I must thank you for the alcohol pad tip. Hopefully it's a gamechanger.
Elementary in the mitten, I know this is late but... maybe use 10 or so of those for each month for decorations/decorating your room (the flatter containers w/lids)
Kim! I’m so glad I watched this vlog. I’m a teacher who suffers from vertigo. Smelling rubbing alcohol helps sometimes, but I don’t have any at school. I didn’t think of buying the alcohol pads. Thanks for the tip!
Kim, my role as a public school parent came to an end this past Friday as my son graduated from high school. Last Friday, which was the last day for seniors, the seniors visited all three elementary schools and went through the hallways and high-fived all the elementary school kids (they might have done the same thing at the middle school as well). Come this fall I'll be a Warhawk dad as he'll be headed to UW-Whitewater, where he's going to major in Accounting..
Absolutely love your videos and have been following my whole journey into and during teaching! I am a third year third grade teacher and am shifting to upper elementary 5th/6th and was wondering for any tips? Thank you!
I love all your videos! I was wondering if you still do the star raffle system with your students? I’m going to be a 4th grade teacher next year and I’m going to follow all of what you said you do in your behavior video.
Our school was supposed to end on the 10th too, but they added three days because we had a late start to the year in August. But I decided not to work those three extra days🤷🏻♀️
I need some advice, can you give some for me? I'm a teacher who rly loves the kids and my job, so I tend to spend too much on supplies and toys, I tend to spoil them, do you have any tips or thoughts on that?
Hi I'm from Brazil!! I love to see these videos of you teachers from the USA tidying up the classroom but it's really bad to see you guys throwing leaves and decorations out etc... I could have a way to send the things that you throw away and that you don't use to Brazil, I always wanted to have more, I never had the opportunity.
@@catworld8119 Yeah I live in New England, and our school year has always gone until June 20th or so. When I heard about parts of the country getting out in May I was like, WHAT?!! But it's because we start after Labor Day.

I cannot wait to see classroom setup in your "new" room!
You are so positive. You are handling this pack up so well.
Looking forward to seeing your summer vacation time and all that you get up to.
Ong! I missed you and the clog. Glad you’re back.
I love your student desks! Plenty of space and easy to clean. Ours are super chunky and impossible to clean properly. Love all your videos! 🥰😍

Kim!!! You are my inspiration! Even though I will be a middle school teacher I hope to be just as upbeat for my kids! 🤍

Loved The People We Meet in Vacation!!
I get horrible motion sickness too. I always try to sit at the front of the bus on field trips. I do the Dramamine too and the alcohol wipes.

I love your videos! You and I have the same method for cleaning out our classrooms!
Having packed up an entire room 4 times, I feel your pain! Hang in there and good luck-- somehow it all gets finished.

Hi Kim
Where did you get the vowel valley bulletin board?
How do you keep press-on nails on for so long??? Mine fall off in less than 24 hours 😂
Don't do this off contract. If they want it done, do it during the School day during contract hours.
I always make messes and then just leave.
Dang June 10?

Seeems you are losing weight. Or is it just me?😀 greetings from somewhere in the world.
Do you have a link for the gardening vocab. cards? Thank you!
