- Buongiorno a tutti!!! Team Nepa impegnato nella ranghinatura e pressatura paglia con con accoppiata john deere e roc/krone. Mezzi impiegati: JD 6930 equipaggiato con un andanatore Roc RT 1000 e un JD 8200 equipaggiato con una pressa quadra Krone BigPack 1290XC HDP.

Several problems baling the sidehills.
1. The pickup cannot move independently higher or lower on the left side versus the right side. So when the baler leans downhill, the uphill side of the pickup, is lifted away from the ground.
2. The castering rear axle was NOT locked in straight ahead, so it was allowing the baler to drift downhill/sideways.
3. The windrows were so wide that the tractor tires were running on top of the thick slippery windrow edges and not getting good traction. The windrows should have been made narrower where the hills were steep.
David Rowley Several problems with your comment. This ain’t America where we have land that has some hills as in our farm in GA. This is overseas and if you’ve ever been there you would understand they have no other option. They do the best they can. Too big of a baker on that siding. Sure but in the valley areas which is probably the bulk of his fields it’s just right. Windrows r a bit wide but at the same time if they get to high and “roll” then that’s not helping either. Remember the merger is running that same ugly slope. Again thgh if uve never been in that area then it’s hard to judge. If I had not seen it before id criticize too.
you must be a non farmer pointing out problems you think exist but in reality all 3 of your points are wrong lol
1. the pickup is not lifted away from the ground on the uphill side unless the thing is in the process of tipping over
2.the castering rear axle should NOT be locked, it's there for this exact situation
3.the edges of the windrows are not "slippery" lol
4.you have no clue what you're talking about :)
@@farmcentralohio why do you say the edges of the windrow aren't slippery? If the tires are on the windrow at all of course it's gonna be a lot more slippery than on the bare ground itself.
@@JoshuaSmith-xw6jp Slippery? really? I've been baling a long time, on hills that will nearly pitch you out of the tractor seat, and I have never found any part of a windrow to be slippery.
i dont think a n8 ford or to30 fergie would handle that baler
