Ironically I learned how to iron in the army cadet`s the first thing our captain taught us ....my mother loved it ( cos it saved her work i guess)...I also learned how to buff standard army issue boots to dress standard using a heated spoon ( got the dimples out )and boot polish ( that was my dad )...won 6 lanyards for dress code and it served me well in later life ...its cool to be smart ...I guess i was bored back then as there were no smart phones... :)

Just the other day one of my Co workers asked me was my shirt brand new and said no why and she stated that every shirt I wear looks new because of the way I iron them so I took it as a comment 😋👌🙅♀️ I iron lines in my shirt and they are professional looking! I however learned from a women’s correctional facility back in 2008. I never forgot and never stopped ironing my shirts that way! I did slip off for a minute but I am back at it now.
