I feel the same entirely. Expected very little from this figure at the time but slightly smaller scale, and simplicity of transformation work well in its favor compared to earlier iterations. Unpopular opinion but I actually prefer this on over the ROTF Battle Blades which had neat weapons attached to each arm, and a battle mask, but the proportions especially in the chest always felt wonky and not a fun transformation. Best Camaro alt mode to date though. Wish the mechtech canon had a locking mechanism.

Got this from a Family Dollar when they had them from overstock back in 2013. I didn't have a main Bee, so I was happy. Transformation is fun, but I can't help to think he is a bit plain. There's not much paint if it had a gloss. Maybe I would love him. The gun is funny, so I don't ever really give him it in my display. The head is cool, too. I agree with that.

Meh. I like the 2010 HFTD Deluxe Battle Blades Bumblebee much better than the DOTM Deluxe Bee. The 2010 Battle Blades Bee has automorph in the legs and actual toe joints, a waist swivel, the arm cannon built into the right arm, and a retractable battle mask. I prefer the ROTF Camaro over the DOTM Camaro.
