I always have every inventory slot filled with golden apples and swords and full armor with other tools and foods for like a 10 minute trip into The Nether 😂
tell ya what. Years ago on a camping trip my bf brought a tarp and rope and every other couple had tents. It poured that night and we were the only ones who stayed dry! Probably had something to do with the spot he picked too.
Buy a 30.00two person tent.40- .50 cans of great value soup and a bag of rice. A Sawyer water filter and you still have 30.00 for a knife poncho, fishing line and light. Cook in the cans or foil. You have to stay dry. Shelter, water food.
Sometimes they have 5ft x 7ft blankets for 5$. Those would be nice to add in, at least a few. Or survival blankets for about the same price. My main concern was those 9$ camping meals. Really expensive way to feed yourself. I've been eating something called Lara Bars, a kind of meal bar thats less than $1 per bar. Each is sealed in plastic, so waterproof. Cliff bars aren't much more. Or you could buy canned soup for a few dollars a can (for the expensive stuff). Or bagged soups. Or rice, like you said. Summer sausages for extra protein if you want to add it. Long shelf life and not that expensive. And if you think it's too bland, most cheap spices are less than $1.
You had $100 to use in a Walmart and you blew it all in the sporting goods section? A quarter of your budget was used on a blade kit...that kit... And the cook set...there is a whole department with cooking utensils for a fraction of the cost. Two freeze dried meals? Dude, spam and rice for days for what you spent. Seriously, I challenge you to make second video where you take advantage of what the actual store has to offer. Tip : the same paracord is cheaper in the hardware area. Not making that up.
Yeah. I thought the same thing about Food & Water. Sam Water $3 gets you 28 bottles of 20oz water... Get 2 packs. You have clean water for 7 days now. Spent $6... Next... Food. Canned Spam. $1 a piece (here for me) per can. Get 7 cans $7... That's $13 so far... $4 Sterno Refill in a Bottle as a fire starter. $2 gets us 500 matches in a box. Thats $19 now.... Now you got $81 to spend on whatever. UST Machete $8 UST Knife $3 UST Hatchet $5 Head Lamps $1 Lightstick Lights $2 Sterno Folding Stove $15 to $20 Ramen Noodles $5 for 12 of packets. More food Shelter... Cheap tent and blanet. Ozark trail cooking set $15 100hr candles set of 5 $20. Use for light & heating food.
Rather than gripes I would focus on what you did right. This was about the cost quality of gear which is a big thing for a lot of outdoorsman. You didnt get sick or hurt. You didnt get particularly wet or hypothermic and it did rain. You didnt do anything particularly stupid, any one you walk away from... good on you. Very little of your cheap gear outright failed. You didnt break blades or shred your shelter. The challenges came more from knowledge and decisions and skills rather than gear performance. I think there were a LOT of valuable lessons here for greenhorns and old salts alike.
That “Fake” MRE is lighter and only requires adding water to prepare, making it it more ideal for his situation since he doesn’t want to carry several pounds worth of food. As a hiker I can tell you he made the right choice, although ideally you would want some trail mix and maybe some peanut butter as well.
Don’t waste $30 on the first item that has an axe, knife, etc. You are buying a folding saw anyway, that will be the only blade you need for a 7 day trip, and the rest isn’t vital. Don’t waste $15 on 2 breakfast skillets, instead buy a 20 lb. bag of rice and 2 dozen eggs for $25. Hard boil the eggs on day one and you now have more than 3 eggs per day and almost 3 lbs. of rice per day, so carbs and protein. Buy a $5 pot in cookware instead of the $15 cookpot set. You only need the one pot, the rest isn’t vital. Now you have more food and $30 more to spend so go buy a wool blanket, which will cost $20. Or if it will be warm, then dress warmly (overdress) and spend that $30 on carrots/potatoes. Don’t forget to bring salt and maybe other seasonings (but for sure salt). Think about bringing a bar of soap, you will be out there for 7 days after all.
Nice deal on the bells! I've bought similar ornaments after Christmas as an alternative to bear bells (same thing but they are $5 each). You probably only need the saw, axe, or machete, but I guess the yard will be looking nice after. If you are looking for budget meals that have a long shelf life I would say lentils are the way to go. They just about triple in size after you prepare them, don't require soaking like beans, are packed with protein, and I think a 2lbs bag is around 50 cents. Just don't forget the hot sauce to keep them interesting!
I'm not being horrible i am just stating the facts , with that $100. i could of go a whole lot more. i got something for all you who want to learn BUSHCRAFT. TYPE BUSHCRAFT IN THE SEARCH AND LEARN SOMETHING ELSE
Though Mountain House is good if you need something with a 25 year shelf life, for that same approx. $13.00 you could have gotten enough canned food to last you the entire week. Canned food is only heavy because of the moisture content, but if you are looking to travel a considerable distance to safety then a little extra weight is a fair trade off. As you travel you will be eating some of the food which will reduce the weight of your pack. Another plus is that you can open a can and keep on walking instead of having to stop, filter water, boil the water and prepare your dehydrated food. The cans can be rinsed out and put back in your pack with the lids bent back down as dry storage or even as a container to boil water if you have no pans. And you don't want to toss the cans which could leave a trail for unwelcome party's to follow. Even a small can can be made into a hobo stove. The moisture in the canned food will reduce the consumption of your filtered water which will reduce the amount of times you have to stop to find and filter water. Etc.
Not sure what this dude is on about. The knife I got from the kit was sharp enough to shave arm hair. The hatchet works like any other hatchet if you know how to use a hatchet. The machete is great. The striker works great as well. This kit is well worth the $30 I paid for it. It's pretty sad that all these comments about the hatchet is junk is from people that obviously don't have a clue how to use a hatchet. I mean you're obviously not gonna chop down a huge oak tree with it, but it still works fine for a hatchet. P.s. Use an axe for the huge oak tree
You really didn't need so many edged tools. What about a compass or multiple fire starting items? Also very important, first aid items. Good luck out there! Hopefully a 7-11 nearby.
I’ve seen a lot of survival $100 Walmart challenges. I’ve never seen anyone think of using kits, or do 7 days. I love it already and I haven’t even watched the videos.
Money better spent... Lets Thrive instead of survive... Sam Water $3 gets you 28 bottles of 20oz water... Get 2 packs. You have clean water for 7 days now. Spent $6... Next... Food. Buy a cheap wool blanket instead of backpack and fashion it into a carry bag so it’s double use. Also a plastic painters tarp for a few bucks to block rain, wind or ground cover.
what did you choose to spend $18 on those Mountain Houses? a pouch of Great Value 90 second rice are $0.98 and 4pk cans of tuna are about $2.75 and you could get a 20 pack of great value instant oatmeal for $3.12 so for the price of about ONE of those mountain houses ($9.79) you could get 4 dinners at 500 calories each THAT DONT NEED HEAT OR WATER to eat plus 7 breakfast! and with those you could have 6 breakfasts at 480 calories and one at 320 (3 packets for six mornings and 2 on one) AND it would take up about if not less space than those 2 MH meals
point is you spent 18-20 of your budget on what 1200 ish calories, when you could have spent about $10 on 5,200 calories that take up the same space in your pack and used the other $10 on something like a tarp AND trashbags
Very cool video & can't wait for the 7 days using the stuff!! Broke ass single mama here, you gave me some great ideas🤗💞🙏may God bless us all and have mercy on us, get prepared people!!
The point in those is the stay good to eat longer but if you are on a tight budget like in this video it can make more sense to buy something like rice and beans or packaged meat (cheap + long shelf life)
You can also buy paracord for cheaper if you find it in a different isle at my Walmart we have paracord in the camping section and also the same isle as the light bulbs
I went to Walmart to get that same exact knife kit, i checked their website and stuff, said it was in stock. This video inspired me to go camping, etc. I grab some normal food for my house before I head over to the camping section. The kit is not there! Still lookin for that kit because it seems like a good kit.
The "breakfast skillet" seems like a waste. Beans/rice/ramen/box-mac&cheese/jerky would all make for better emergency rations and have a similar shelf life, wouldn't they?
@@DropForgedSurvival wasn't the challenge "survive 7 days (outside/wild) after spending $100 at Walmart"? I admire your survival skills, but as I was saying the money you spent on rations (grocery shopping as you call it) could have been spread further. Or if you think rations are a cheat, don't count them in the total. Have emergency calories on standby to eat when food is scarce and you aren't able to forge it with the $100 in resources
Ever try a 50$ or 100$ dollar tree survival challenge? I get most of my gear at dollar tree and goodwill plus whatever was gifted to me I'm planning on getting some stuff from walmart myself. my incomplete kit is currently inside a vintage Winnie the pooh diaper bag cuz it's water proof It's really hard cuz I'm very broke
Rewatching this series. I think you need to do another $100 Walmart Challenge! LOL! They have different offerings and prices now. Plus I suggest a plastic painter drop cloth as a tarp and a small box of big contractor bags so you can build a cot or stuff with leaves or wrap up in.
Tarps are so cheap it makes more sense to just buy a tarp. Walmart isn’t the only store. Harbor freight sells dirt cheap tarps. If your life depends on it the surely it’s worth more.
I love tube tents for survival shelters. I'm curious why you didn't go with a tarp instead. I'm looking at a 10' x 12' blue tarp on their site for under $8 and it seems like it would have more options in addition to creating one similar to the tube tent. Was the reflective material highly important? Is the quality of an $8 blue tarp too much of a gamble? Thanks for sharing the video series, looking forward to your tarp thoughts!
I have the same kit it's not a sharpening stone it's actually a magnesium bar for making fires , you scrape a bit of the powder on top of your wood and once the spark hits theagnesium the first is alot easier to start , without the magnesium bar you would have to use dry grass or leaves with some wood shaving on top
That is a camping kit, not survival. For 100 bucks you could have gotten much more. 6dollar bags of food. Could have gotten beans and rice for a month with that. Not sure you thought this threw.
One 1lb bag of lentils at Walmart is about $1.34 (2022) a 4 lb bag is $5.63 (2022) the least expensive mountain house freeze dried bag is $7.55, for ONE meal. The lentils, properly stored, would last as long as the freeze dried food AND would provide far more meals than ONE bag of freeze dried food. An oven bag (you know the ones where you cook turkeys in) can withstand high heat and hold a substantial amount of weight. You can use them to collect water and boil it over a fire or at least for water storage and it is cheaper than the plastic water thing.
Would you have gotten a tarp if you had it to do over? That seems like a better option than a mylar bivy.....a 6*8 blue tarp is like 3-4 bucks. Way better as a shelter.
simple 5.5 and 10/14 inch old hickory would suffice for any cutting, 30ft of paracord, surplus GI canteen setup, tarp (well that can be expensive, but heck you could use one of those cheap plastic ones), BIC lighter (and/or fero rod as backup, although 90% never lighted fire with those) and food. you dont need much to survive out there.
You could spend a few bucks more along with a little research and get something that’s worth owning. The metal used in these cheap Walmart tools is garbage. Doesn’t hold an edge for shit. In a real survival situation you don’t want to be grinding away your only metal tools in an attempt to keep them usable.
Just a thought, but instead of buying those 2 Mountain House food packs, you could have bought bags of rice & dry beans much, much cheaper and possibly fed your self off that the entire time for the same price. I know you intend to catch stuff in the wild to eat but for the weight/cost rice& dry beans can not be beat and not like you don't have the time to just let beans soak in water being you will be stationary with a camp. Not to mention the calories, of course it depends on having a water source..
5 must haves for me for a 1 month shtf scenario (already have clothes shoes n coat) 1.). 8" Bowie knife with a fire starter kit inside handle. 2.) .22 LR with Scope and Detachable flashlight 3.) Metal canteen 4.) Water resistant sleeping bag 5.) 1 person tent That covers hunting/eating, water, fire, shelter. What's in yours?
Freeze Dried food is a timely and expensive process. Also if I grocery shopped as everyone suggested.. lol It would not have been challenge at all but a Camp Out with hordes of food Trip.
True. Freeze dried is a bit different. The Wal-Mart I work at sells regular basic pancake mixes and breads, etc. in the camping section, but it's put in a colorful package that has pictures of mountains and trees on it. It's EXACTLY the same as the generic stuff we sell on our baking aisles, just not the same brand. I was referring to those. Watching part 1 right now. Good stuff!
Just asking but why didn't you buy the dollar just add water meals like the pastas and rice and some packages chicken or tuna. That is in the grocery section. Just curious
You should have gotten Ramen noodles. You get a dozen packs for $2.50, and they give you great calories. I survived several summers on them! No survival kit should be without them!
They are food. They have carbohydrates, just like regular noodles. Also, you can add all kinds of stuff to them to flesh out your meal. And, it is totally okay for them to get broken and squashed in your pack. I am very serious when I say I lived on them for 3 summers.
Junk is junk. Quality is and should be your only consideration. Fewer toys more stuff that will be used in a real world situation. The wisdom of simplicity.. The luxury of efficiency.
I agree.. This is all designed around one goal. Field testing Cheapo Gear I have always been curious about and see where the chips fall after a week of use.
Before you go off runnong around buying stuff. I just kinda went through all of my drawers and closet and shed and scrounged up a killer bug out bag by just the stuff i already had around the house. Its amazing what you already have and be able to repurposing of stuff that has just been sitting around. Do that first cause it saved me a hell of a lot of money.
@@MrTheeduck2000 I’d kill a deer or I’d take the $8 it costs for one of those dehydrated meals and buy 16 cans of veggies. None of this stuff is survival gear. It’s just cheap camping gear that isn’t going to last because it’s all made of garbage materials. These videos are so misleading.
I actually got the same ozark trail set, the machete seems cheap but its robust, dents and dings but holds up nicely, the hatchet is waaaaay too light to do any real cutting, and the knife is my daily belt carry, cheap, easy to sharpen, but robust for the deal.
I'm all for the $100 challenge and I totally support it brother. Lol but out of all of Walmart and you only went to the Camping Area? You could of gotten much more food for $20 in the actual food area. The ozark trail blade set was just a waste of $30. Could of just got $5 knife and then a bigger backpack plus a first aid kit, zippo, and a tarp. But, all in all you're actually going out and doing it. Which is where we all learn what we need and what was a waste. Lol and especially after a week you'll know what to take the next time or never go again Haha!! Excited to see the rest of the vids! keep on keeping on & God Bless!
Why not get 14 dollars of canned and dried foods instead of two breakfast skillets. Walmart sells food items too. You can get a lot of packets of ramen, cans of tuna, cans of veggies, spam, etc for 14 bucks
My dad took us out to the middle of no where in the Canadian North Gave us a bottle of water and a protein bar And said You have food and water for 1 day Now will you survive a week? I have a knife and wire ..I know i will last 1 week....He then walked over to a birch tree and made a cut inserted a slice of wood into the hole And we watched water drip out I said sure but how are you going to catch the water .. He peeled the bark and formed a round tube with it And said I could make 20 cups if i needed to And you can eat the inner bark as a last resort too! He then showed us how to make snares And how to set them for Beaver / Rabbits And reached over to a plant and picked and chewed them ..Wild leeks Dad's moral was You can buy tools till the cows come home But you need to learn Your surroundings There is no sence in walking passed your apple tree to buy them at the store
Just returned from 2 weeks in Citico Creek Wilderness. That Sawyer mini is great. I took that exact kit, the ferro rod worked to par, and the paracord was ok, that machete is suprisingly good(used it the most) the hatchet was good but as a trade item for some fishing lures. I love the belt knife. Caveat: I resharpened everything before leaving.
I bet the world ain't thinking that doomsday are crazy ppl now, iam glad i started looking at how to bug out 2 years ago, and i was called crazy too for it
the Emperor of man sorry to hear that about your grandpa, so if things do hit the fan, I take it you’ll be headed out solo? I have no wife or kids so I’m thankful at the very worst i can live out my car if I needed to bounce.... also how bad do you think this will get
Well the majority people are still " crazy ".A little bug out bag and some crap like this won't help you in a actual SHTF scenario. Not to mention, the only reason that it will happen is because of the dumbass general public going crazy over something that has happened hundreds of times throughout history.
Shelby Hughes Great idea and beans! But an old timer might suggest hard tack beans and biscuits like “The good old cowboy days“ lol Question for you is does anyone dehydrate “won’t spoil and light weight“and it should work if you’re boiling water to rehydrate correct?
I was just going to say we don’t need to go spend $100 at Walmart we have these things here at home. Everything at Walmart is made in China 🇨🇳 cheap things that is. Look at the labels made in China
The Sawyer was awesome idea but $14 bucks on 2 bags of food? You could have got a helluva lot of canned food and a can opener. You can buy a lot of food for $14....
Right. Someone aiming for survival isn’t dropping $14 dollars on two dehydrated meals when they can get 24 cans of food for the same cost. Now if I’m doing a weekend trip hiking 6 miles into the woods those dehydrated meals are totally worth it.
I think speeding it up a lot more would have been prudent... also, please be sure to catch more glare on each package showing the description... you're awesome!
What about your sleeping bag? Or at least the blanket. Instead of spending eight bucks on that scrappy little emergency tent I would have got a $6 tarp. And instead of the $29 junk kit which I saw at Walmart and didn't buy. Because it looks like junk I would have got the items you actually need for about $10 less. Which would have got you a cheap sleeping bags. That axe is useless. The flashlight is a waste of money since you already know you can just a headlamps for a dollar. The machete is substandard and if you wanted one you could buy one for six or seven bucks. And you could buy the Paracord for about $2 a bunch. They have other cooking kits there which are probably a better deal. What good are those bowls you can't even cook in? You can eat right out of the pot. And a trip through Walmart deli can give you all the free plastic silverware you want without costing you anything. Plastic knife Fork and Spoon. Napkins as well. You can get the same Flint with an actual striker for 5-6 bucks. With a backup lighter for a dollar. For a dollar you could get dental floss which works pretty good as fishing line in a pinch.

And you don't want to toss the cans which could leave a trail for unwelcome party's to follow. Even a small can can be made into a hobo stove. The moisture in the canned food will reduce the consumption of your filtered water which will reduce the amount of times you have to stop to find and filter water. Etc.
can goods are heavy and would not fit week worth of food in back pack bag!
I bought this machete seperste for my son and it has actually held up. He loves it and he's had it 2 years. We just keep sharpening it.
You really didn't need so many edged tools. What about a compass or multiple fire starting items? Also very important, first aid items. Good luck out there! Hopefully a 7-11 nearby.
I wasn’t ready for you to be immediately beardless and was confused for a second
Sorry bud.... it’s already on its way back
I’ve seen a lot of survival $100 Walmart challenges.
Spent $6...
Next...
UST Machete $8
UST Knife $3
UST Hatchet $5
Head Lamps $1
Lightstick Lights $2
Sterno Folding Stove $15 to $20
Ramen Noodles $5 for 12 of packets. More food
Shelter... Cheap tent and blanet.
Ozark trail cooking set $15
100hr candles set of 5 $20. Use for light & heating food.
Minus the Ramen... Solid Kit. really. But the point was to mainly test new kit and gear I have always been curious about.
Why would you get only two freeze dried food packs when you could have gotten like 40 ramens
Thank you so much for the subtitles bro!
I’m deaf and they really help! Can’t tell you how much this means to me and helps me. 😃
How about a $100 Challenge but you are not allowed to go into any hunting/camping/sportsman sections or stores.
Interesting concept.
For everyone dissing the dude he got over a million views and made it through...don't look like it's to harsh of land ...but he's trying
This channel.. we don’t preach, we don’t teach, we head outdoors, keep at it, and keep learning
Buy a cheap wool blanket instead of backpack and fashion it into a carry bag so it’s double use. Also a plastic painters tarp for a few bucks to block rain, wind or ground cover.
You could go to a 24 hour Walmart and survive a good while on $100. Just stay inside and just buy food
Which is why you never.........
Asshole
Unfortunately walmart isn't 24 hours anymore
what did you choose to spend $18 on those Mountain Houses? a pouch of Great Value 90 second rice are $0.98 and 4pk cans of tuna are about $2.75 and you could get a 20 pack of great value instant oatmeal for $3.12 so for the price of about ONE of those mountain houses ($9.79) you could get 4 dinners at 500 calories each THAT DONT NEED HEAT OR WATER to eat plus 7 breakfast! and with those you could have 6 breakfasts at 480 calories and one at 320 (3 packets for six mornings and 2 on one) AND it would take up about if not less space than those 2 MH meals
point is you spent 18-20 of your budget on what 1200 ish calories, when you could have spent about $10 on 5,200 calories that take up the same space in your pack and used the other $10 on something like a tarp AND trashbags
Lol dammit man 👨🤣
The mountain house was only 13.96 but I do get your point he could get more to eat for less money
Very cool video & can't wait for the 7 days using the stuff!! Broke ass single mama here, you gave me some great ideas🤗💞🙏may God bless us all and have mercy on us, get prepared people!!
It's cool that he did sign language the entire time for the deaf viewers
I never understood the point in those overpriced camping meals when you can buy noodles and meat in the actual grocery section much cheaper.
@@michelle4762 ramen stays good for years. Get some dried beans. And some rice. You could have a lot more food that will stay good for a while.
@@michelle4762 look in hardware in my walmart i get it there more cheeper and still dose the job
Lol where is the challenge is you just went grocery shopping?
@@DropForgedSurvival wasn't the challenge "survive 7 days (outside/wild) after spending $100 at Walmart"?
I admire your survival skills, but as I was saying the money you spent on rations (grocery shopping as you call it) could have been spread further. Or if you think rations are a cheat, don't count them in the total. Have emergency calories on standby to eat when food is scarce and you aren't able to forge it with the $100 in resources
Ever try a 50$ or 100$ dollar tree survival challenge?
I get most of my gear at dollar tree and goodwill plus whatever was gifted to me I'm planning on getting some stuff from walmart myself. my incomplete kit is currently inside a vintage Winnie the pooh diaper bag cuz it's water proof
It's really hard cuz I'm very broke
This was only “Season 1” ill be going out for more and taking what i learn and applying to future trips
You left your beard at Wal-Mart.
Timber ‘n Tackle 🤣
I have the same kit it's not a sharpening stone it's actually a magnesium bar for making fires , you scrape a bit of the powder on top of your wood and once the spark hits theagnesium the first is alot easier to start , without the magnesium bar you would have to use dry grass or leaves with some wood shaving on top
For real though. You could've gotten twice as many useful items by shipping in the kitchen, hardware, and actual grocery aisles......
That is a camping kit, not survival. For 100 bucks you could have gotten much more. 6dollar bags of food. Could have gotten beans and rice for a month with that. Not sure you thought this threw.
Sweet! I can’t wait to watch your series!
So is he wrong?
At start why no first aid pack?
Henry Haag oh yeah your right ._.
It's great gear for being more prepared in today's world! So much bs going on right now with weather and other issues it's smart to be ready!!!!
So,why don't you try all your edges before going out,to see if it will spark the f rod.
Awesome video bud, just watched a different youtuber do an overnighter with $250 from walmart lol
simple 5.5 and 10/14 inch old hickory would suffice for any cutting, 30ft of paracord, surplus GI canteen setup, tarp (well that can be expensive, but heck you could use one of those cheap plastic ones), BIC lighter (and/or fero rod as backup, although 90% never lighted fire with those) and food. you dont need much to survive out there.
Also . I bought that same kit he is showing and replaced the paracord with bike grips. Better feel and control
Definitely check my new SURVIVAL SERIES we learned a ton from this trip
@@DropForgedSurvival yeah I was watching the new one and figured I'd watch the older one.
5 must haves for me for a 1 month shtf scenario (already have clothes shoes n coat)
1.). 8" Bowie knife with a fire starter kit inside handle.
2.) .22 LR with Scope and Detachable flashlight
3.) Metal canteen
4.) Water resistant sleeping bag
5.) 1 person tent
That covers hunting/eating, water, fire, shelter.
What's in yours?
NEVER buy the "camping" food. It costs 2-3 times as much as the exact same thing in the grocery section. You're just paying for the fancy packaging.
So good to have you back.
You should have gotten Ramen noodles. You get a dozen packs for $2.50, and they give you great calories. I survived several summers on them! No survival kit should be without them!
But Ramen 🍜 Noodles from Walmart are not food
how is it not food?
Jordan blank it has no sustenance.
Thanks now I want some noodles, and it's 11:30pm. I don't like you right now.
Which Walmart branch is this? Looks complete with accessories.
Hell yeah. Go threw the shit you have before buying more!
Did you also have some Mountain House Breakfast Skillet freeze dry laying around in the shed too?, Or you gonna be like me, kill a deer?
@@MrTheeduck2000 I’d kill a deer or I’d take the $8 it costs for one of those dehydrated meals and buy 16 cans of veggies. None of this stuff is survival gear. It’s just cheap camping gear that isn’t going to last because it’s all made of garbage materials. These videos are so misleading.
He got the whole call of duty set
I actually got the same ozark trail set, the machete seems cheap but its robust, dents and dings but holds up nicely, the hatchet is waaaaay too light to do any real cutting, and the knife is my daily belt carry, cheap, easy to sharpen, but robust for the deal.
I have the ozark trail set too
The switch from un shaved to shaved with no context distresses me
I cover it in the livestream at the end of the series.
What brand is your watch . That caught my eye . Great video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
G-Shock
Can we get an updated version of this please Chris?!
I love these videos, especially the ones over 4 years old. INFLATION LOL. That is SO much gear for a hundo. bet it would cost almost 200 today
probably $500 in canada for that shit
Would a reflective blanket hide you from heat detection? I think it will but I just wanted to clarify!
Interesting idea. Only thing i know to work is deep water
Haha "sweet I can be rescued after my 7 days are over, because I'll be dying" 😂😂😂😂
Im always learning. I do not know everything.
Why not get 14 dollars of canned and dried foods instead of two breakfast skillets. Walmart sells food items too. You can get a lot of packets of ramen, cans of tuna, cans of veggies, spam, etc for 14 bucks
I answered this already in several different comments
Hi is there a link for that very first set u showed us thanks

I bet the world ain't thinking that doomsday are crazy ppl now, iam glad i started looking at how to bug out 2 years ago, and i was called crazy too for it
Got any advice?
the Emperor of man
Thanks a lot your advice is noted, you got a family or just you?
the Emperor of man sorry to hear that about your grandpa, so if things do hit the fan, I take it you’ll be headed out solo? I have no wife or kids so I’m thankful at the very worst i can live out my car if I needed to bounce.... also how bad do you think this will get
Well the majority people are still " crazy ".A little bug out bag and some crap like this won't help you in a actual SHTF scenario. Not to mention, the only reason that it will happen is because of the dumbass general public going crazy over something that has happened hundreds of times throughout history.
for the cost of those dehydrated meals, you could buy a week's worth of dry rice and beans! haha
pretty sure theyre like $20 each in canada for those meals i thought they were ridicously cheap
I wish ozark trail didn't have the oil or grease on the tools because it doesn't need it since the paint is black and protects against rust anyway
That's most likely oils from the manufacturing dies. I remove that stuff right away, it just attracts dust and dirt that gets into any moving piece.
I feel like you don't move your hands enough when you speak. We would like to see more movement in the next video please.
A machete a knife and a hatchet? Why all the blades?
It was what was in the blister pack

Do you mean this is all the stuff you need to protect yourself when you go into Walmart to shop ??
I wonder how the cavemen were able to survive without wal-mart.
They had cave-mart.

Great idea and beans! But an old timer might suggest hard tack beans and biscuits like “The good old cowboy days“ lol Question for you is does anyone dehydrate “won’t spoil and light weight“and it should work if you’re boiling water to rehydrate correct?
Man you really nailed this survival kit. Solid work!

Way to support walmart and China. 2 of the parties partially responsible for us needing to prep.
Facts
I was just going to say we don’t need to go spend $100 at Walmart we have these things here at home. Everything at Walmart is made in China 🇨🇳 cheap things that is. Look at the labels made in China
Yes bin waiting so long so exuded
If you add it up on the prices he showed before tax was 105.62 with out the add on at the end 109.86
Shut the fuck up your a fun person
15$ axe, 10$ rope, 75$ in maruchi noodles.
If it works for you
Three 30 packs, 3 racks of ribs, 10 candy bars, done
What about weed and wine.
Weed and wine works
Iodine tablets would go great with that filter, easy to find and cheap
I'd just buy a tent, and a shit ton of chips
Well... There you go bud. Chip comma
hey feLLah that is the correct tooLsss.
Thank you for going with the Sawyer Mini over the Lifestraw. It lasts a HELL of a lot longer and filters more.
Did you really leave out a container and a dollar Bic lighter?
Hell probably make his own fire
Weirdest comment section ever
I think speeding it up a lot more would have been prudent... also, please be sure to catch more glare on each package showing the description... you're awesome!
Jenny Calloway very funny!
I agree with some of these comments. Very strange choices on food and shelter
