🎹 Garcons (Live) - Neoclassical Piano - is a heartfelt live performance from the Improv Live Sessions album, recorded at the Toronto Piano Teachers’ Piano Practice Studio in 2024. This piece weaves together the introspective beauty of neoclassical piano with my personal journey of moving to Toronto five years ago. The video features scenes of Toronto, my Canadian family, and connections, including a childhood friend who now lives here, all of whom played a significant role in making this city feel like home.
The title, Garcons (Live), reflects the spirit of new beginnings and the friendships that shape our lives. The music captures both the nostalgia and the excitement of starting fresh in a new city. It’s a celebration of the journey toward belonging, of finding your place among the people and places that resonate with you.
Through intricate melodies and delicate harmonies, Garcons (Live) paints a sonic portrait of the landscapes and relationships that define this new chapter of my life. Every note carries the emotions of crossing borders, building connections, and embracing the freedom to grow.
