Turkmen, Khalaj and Yakut are the only Turkic languages that have regularly preserved the Proto-Turkic long vowels. Besides, there are a number of words common to only Yakut and Oghuz languages and nonexistent in other Turkic languages. There are multiple Turkish-language academic papers on that topic. The linguistic and cultural ancestors of Yakuts were Üch Kurykan people ("Guligan" in early medieval Chinese sources) that lived along the western shores of Lake Baikal before the Mongols invaded their lands and drove them out. The Üch Kurykan originally came from around the Yenisei River basin where they must've been neighbors to the Proto-Oghuz speakers.
For everyone commenting it's qar or kar in their language as well, that's not the point. It's the same everywhere. The point is the long vowel. Long vowels in Turkic languages is a serious matter of research.

We need to have a Turkic languages dictionary to learn all the vocabulary of all the Turkic words. So we can understand each other in a better way.
