Zetwerk: Unicorn That Wants To Reimagine Indian Manufacturing| Meet Its Founders On Bits To Billions

Most of the founders of unicorn Zetwerk have two things in common: they studied at IIT or worked at ITC. Founded in 2018 by Amrit Acharya, Srinath Ramakkrushnan, Rahul Sharma and Vishal Chaudhary, Zetwerk is a manufacturing platform connecting original equipment manufacturers and engineering procurement construction customers across India, North America and Southeast Asia with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
It is present in categories such as fabrication, machining, casting and forging and helps customers in procuring custom products (which are not available off-the-shelf), real-time tracking and project management all the way till delivery.

Seems like a company with real meat. When you are in B2B space, you gotta be good as business wont give you money without doing proper due dilligence. This is why I like companies like Delhivery and Zetwerk as opposed to swiggy and zomatoes.
This is unlike some other mom and pop startups who are "bootstrapped" by the wealthy to engage their incompetent sons. These days If you have lot of money, but your child is not that good, then the proven roadmap is to buy a US MBA/MS degree by giving lot of donation(full tution+) to the university and then once they back in India, fund a company for him.Then try to buy few customers by providing them huge discounts and then sell it to angel investors/VCs . Majority such companies will fail as they cannot scale. That's why it is also important to check the pedigree of owners before investing.
