Michigan’s Toughest “Knockout” Pizza Challenge Has FOUR 12” Pizzas and a Sandwich!!

- American professional eater Randy Santel and competitive eater Wayne "Old Dude Can Eat" each versus North Grove Brewers' massive and undefeated "Knockout" Pizza and "Rocky IV" Grinder Sandwich Challenge hosted by North Grove Brewers in Montague, Michigan of the United States!! The weekend after attempting 4 delicious restaurant food challenges around the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, I headed east and tried 5 competitive eating challenges around Western Michigan plus Lansing. For man vs food challenge #4 of five, I drove up and over west to North Grove Brewers in Montague, which is north of Muskegon, Michigan, so I could attempt their huge and unbeaten "Knockout" Pizza and Grinder Sandwich Challenge. Brave challengers have just 45 minutes to finish FOUR of their 12" diameter specialty pizzas plus a "Rocky IV" Italian Beef Grinder Sandwich. My competitive eating friend Wayne @olddudecaneat traveled up from Northern Indiana and attempted the undefeated pizza and grinder sandwich challenge with me. There were lots of different pizza topping options to choose from. We were each trying to win our $75 meals free plus $50 gift cards to use later, sweet t-shirts, and spots on the empty Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to everyone with North Grove Brewers in Montague, Michigan for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all our amazing friends who came up that Monday evening to watch and meet me!! The time limit was designed for professional fast eaters, not for just guys going around wanting to eat as much as they can over an extended time

It’s good to know how far the other attempts got. Helps me set more realistic expectations as to how I’d do in a challenge, rather than comparing myself to the pros. There really is a big difference between Randy and the average dude who likes food.

Those pizzas looked AMAZING!! I just love thin crust because youre better able to enjoy the toppings and not be filling up so much on pizza dough. Especially loved the dramatic close finish and beer chug! Carl Weathers would be proud!🙂 RIP Carl😔

If you did way less talking and more eating you'd beat more challenges like Molly Schuyler! The dinosaur head chomping slows you down. Raina has a Mexican friend that loses almost every time because of all the dinosaur necking that takes so much energy for nothing. Too much liquids also cause you to lose time.
