Do you think a villain like The Spot can work in The MCU?🕳️
Yes
No
No
no😊
I think he'd look REALLY creepy and discomforting irl and honestly, I think it'd work if the VFX team takes their time on it. We need more creepy stuff in the mcu lol
The Spot deserves some big recognition.
Ikr
He is getting it now 😮
He really needs the Spotlight
pretty funny superpower ngl
Fr
Imagine him being in live action. Bet the MCU would love it
Yes
i think the sequel will have Miles, Gwen, and the Spot cross over into live action. that’s what the “Beyond” part will most likely mean
@@gunnasintern woah that’s cool. I’m having my doubts but that seems very interesting. Love it
There's a higher chance he is getting his own movie in the Sony's Spider-Man Universe.
@@gunnasintern it sounds cool but i think the possibility of that is like slim to none
Spot in the 90’s Spidey TV show was the goat. Loved that
I know right
Man, gotta catch up 😢
Which show?
@@ziaurtuhin5367 Spider-Man The Animated Series
He had common sense! The guy teamed with Spiderman as soon as he found out what kingpin was doing.
My guess is that he'll start the movie as an ordinary fricky villian but when he'll learn what he's really capable of he's gonna be a multiversal thread
Fricky
With a dude who can create control and move black spots that break any laws of physics thats gonna be pretty buste
Agreed he has one of those powers that are op as all hell but is really hard to use. Once he grasps it just a tiny bit dude becomes molecule level. Dude jumps from petty street crime to multiversal cosmic level. The dude at his apex can go anywhere he wants and touch anything he wants to at anytime. At his weakest he’s more likely to hurt himself then anyone else
That sounds like Molecule man
You just described exactly how he was in the movie
Bro looks like he’s gonna yell “Judgement” and drop kick me into oblivion
I was looking for this
Thanks
He might become a top-tier up there with Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin
Same pfp bro

The background/forgotten villains are finally getting their spotlight and I’m all for it
i’m glad he getting his *spot* light.
I love How They Proportioned Him, it fits His Character
Spiderverse is the PERFECT movie for The Spot to make his debut since what makes him cool is the creative ways you can use his powers to displace limbs/objects in 3D space.
Spot is a very underappreciated and underrated villain.
“He’s the literal definition of why are you hitting yourself”💀💀
MAN I LOVED THE SPOT AS A KID! Thank you for bringing him up! This made my day.
I originally watched him in the old 1990s spiderman cartoon, the one where peter is BUFF af xD
I'm pretty sure he's going to be the main villain for the movie
He is
Definitely
The spidermen are all heroes who have disagreements with stuff, The Spot is totally the main villain.
I was introduced to him in the 90s animated Spiderman series. When I was 4 to 5 years old in 2006 or 07. My parents let me experience 90s nostalgia 😂❤
He’s so cool I love that he can be literally every and anywhere at once !
The spot definitely deserves at least a spot im the movie, his big spot before the main villain takes it
The spot IS the main villain
@@julio.dealmeidabranconeto5831 FUCK YEAHH
The Spot is a hella slept on Spidey Villain. Some people didnt like him but i thought he was a neat villain
he totally deserves The Spot light for once
The spot light I see what you did there
I have a feeling there is a wasted horror potential with his creepy design. He could be with this design and power a pretty terrifying villain.
The Spot is such an annoying but fun character at the same time just because of his powers. It's like when somebody like Spider-Man trying to fight The Spot, he hits himself. It's great that Sony introduces underrated villains to the bgi screen like Kraven the Hunter, Madame Web and also The Spot.
I think Madame Web was more of a superhero in the comics.
Speaking of underrated villains, I really hope Morlun has a cameo in this film. He would be a great antagonist for Beyond the Spider-verse...
They managed to make him start out as a goofy villain into your sleep paralysis demon
one thing i like about here tbh, is if you compare with the concept art that they uploaded and the 2nd trailer, his body proportions are so similarly different, in the 2nd trailer he looks skinny and awkwardly funny, also clumsy villain but in the concept art like months ago he looks bigger and scary. So yeah im definitely interested as to how his character progresses in the movie when it releases in june
I already know the Spider-Verse series is gonna change up a few things about the character and make The Spot more of a serious threat rather than a campy villain, similar to how Matt Reeves revitalized the Riddler.
He originally worked for Tony Stark working on time dilation portals. When Venom and Carnage tried using it to bring Dormammu into our realm Tony shut the whole project down. Kingpin later got his hand on the time dilation accelerator and commissioned Ohm to spearhead the project to make it fully functional. Unfortunately Ohm got sucked into a spot dimension, got his powers and proceeded to become a bank robber. He beat up Spidey a few times before they teamed up to defeat Kingpin who was blackmailing the Spot into working for him and close a massive Black Hole that would consume the entire world. Sadly the Spot could only close it from the inside thus trapping himself and his lover (who decided shed rather spend eternity trapped with him than without him) in an endless void. This is the story of The Spot.
Did you have ChatGPT write that
@@decoderhacker4062 i dont even know how to use ChatGPT. This is the plot synopsis of an episode of 1994 Spiderman TAS. I am just that good a story writer
Did anyone else see in the trailer when the Spot hit himself with a car lol
I knew that he was an obscene villain marvel decided to bring back.
He’s taking the number one SPOT as a multiversal threat.
I think it's weird The Spot is an obscure villain because his powers are unique, powerful and allow for some creative stories, fights and possible gameplay, when someone like the Vulture is an iconic Spider-Man Villain you'd think they'd be hurting for a creative, fun foil
I remember reading an old Spiderman book as a kid, which essentially served as a rundown of all the things that Spiderman was. I also remember the Spot from it. Pretty cool.
tbh if he took himself seriously he'd be one of Spidey's most dangerous foes. Imagine a guy you can't touch because when you do, his body just absorbs your limb and you hit yourself. Or him opening up portals and creating mini black holes to get rid of people he doesn't like, and the police or authorities would never solve the disappearance
I can’t wait to see what the big twist is with him too since he’s suppose to be connected to Miles in a way. People are saying he could be a alternate Miles but I’m sort of thinking maybe he’ll be a alternate Peter that went rogue and somehow gained the Spot powers.
Ahora que mencionas lo del Peter rebelde. Parece que The Spot tiene una barriga como la que Peter B. Parker tenía al principio de la primera película, cuando solo comia pizza.
Why would he be peter? He isn't the protagonist of the movie. It would make more sense if it was Miles
He sounds so cool can’t wait we get to meet him
I must admit, seeing loaf of bread falling out of Spot's belly, is surprising hilarious 🤣🤣
He's probably the only villain with ordinary-ish human durability that can survive a really strong punch from the Hulk.
Bro the spot is probably my favorite Spiderman villain. I first saw him in a Spiderman coloring book when I was younger and then found some comics with him and he's massively underrated. Such an odd but cool character
It’ll be perfect for the animation style. Although I’d honestly prefer him to have no dialogue. Just an entity whose entire purpose is to create chaos using, well, SPOTS! But I’m sure comic fans like him how he is
I just love that the bread just falls out of his stomach, it's so hilarious!😂😂😂😂😂
The way they both designed and revealed him the trailer made him look so goofy I love it 😂
I literally never knew who he was but love him
He's so quirky and funny
Just from the trailer alone he's my favorite character, ik he's gonna be far more dangerous but he's just doing the goofiest stuff
No way bro said the spot was Thanos level
When I meant Thanos Level I meant he’ll be a villain for 2 movies back to back but yeah for all we know Sony could buff The Spot
@@DoomBlazer oh okay! I was a lil confused when you said that. Hopefully spiderverse will give more depth to the character, maybe give him a little power buff.
I’ve always thought of him like a character with a lot of potential that doesn’t know how to use it/holds back. Kinda like the Flash or Superman.
If he could use his powers correctly, he absolutely could be
@@shinesparkss5193yeah it kinda shows he learning by the part 2 he will be a force to be reckon with
I love him in the 90s animated Spider-Man cartoon. He had a British accent and was very non-threatening, and even Peter acknowledged how ridiculous of a villain he was.
The spot is lit, he’s a motherfucking badass. But he’s criminally underrated.
with that sort of face I wouldn’t be surprised if he says “JUDGEMENT” and dropkicks me into the sun
I only know about spot because he was added to Marvel's Contest of Champions in October last year. He has amazing special attack animations in that game so I'm hoping he does some cool moves with his portals in this movie or the next.
Finally give him the spotlight, my boy needs more love, and the most slept on
I remember making a comic about him in 2018.
He was my favourite Spider-Man Villain
The fact that we've had The Spot before in tv shows, and none are as strong as the one from the movie shows him how strong and powerful he is
My god finally I once watched him on the old Spider-Man cartoon and finds him very interesting and cool villain but I didn't know his name and it was lost in time, yippie he's finally back ON THE SPOT!
I actually like his character the most because he litteraly does the one thing i think anybody with teleportion would do, just steal random shit.
I guess you could say Marvel really put him on the spot…
The spot looks really cool, and his abilities does make him seem to be Thanos level threat, and his movie animation self is funny and looks cool at the same time.
He is an underrated , powerful yet intriguing character
The spot is honestly terrifying in looks
My boy got that whole turn.
I had no idea who he was before SpiderVerse 2 but now after backstory I think I really like him
Y'knowni love the body type they gave him, as it helps with his powers, even if it may not look good to some, it helps build his character. The boxy body type gives him more hole space to work with
I love the spot, he's sick. Really cool in Renew Your Vows.
as a comics fan who's known about the spot for multiple years these videos are fuckin hilarious to me. the spot is a great villain, especially for a multiverse movie.
I'm so glad more obscure and "goofy" villains are becoming main stream. Hope to see a serious adaptation of The Eraser soon
Doesn't really give the "potential" spot has.
@@Mr.cladmaniac that's absolutely not true. The Eraser being a business that covers up other villian's crime can lead to really cool moments in a mystery type story. Though i would admit that he wouldn't be good as a main antagonist he would be amazing as a side character
The spot has always been one of my favorite Spider-Man villains so when they announced he would be in Across the Spider-verse I was super excited.
dawg he is op why doesnt he get recognition
He deserves the spotlight
"a huge big black.........portal"
It’s cool to see him get recognition I have grew up with the 90s animated series since I was born in 2002 and liked him a lot and I agree with you Sid it’s cool to see The Spot as a Thanos leveled villain for Across the Spider-Verse and Beyond The Spider-Verse
He Deserves The SpotLight 🥁
As a op fan it reminds me of something
Katakuri
I love the one they used for the movie
He looks like Minos Prime
I didn't remember the spot at first, but After I saw that spiderman cartoon clip of the spit, I IMMEDIATELY remembered the spot.
I don't know why people were so pissed off at the spot he was a pretty cool character. I even have a copy of the episode in which he comes out in a BHS
Yeah I know the spot I met him in marvels spider man show.
He uses technology to make his spots into portals that can either be used to make opponents hit themselves or transport them to vast distances
Spots got them JJBA kind of abilities
damn, clean with the cut
Loved his original cartoon appearance. Cool concept
This is just gonna be like the prowler, he was underrated as heck until into the spider verse.
He’s so chill to
he is so underated and also have the most unique ability. it's nice to see him back
The Spot is great, but the best thing to come of him was that it eventually lead to the creation of Coyote and oh boy, it shows any power can be horrifying when put into the wrong hands.
I'm so happy that someone showed how cool he really is
nah in this universe he got blown up in the collider and he his this travel spot thing and he turned into this spot thing, then after he got abnormally op (trust me i just watched it on cinemas
I remember them from the show! Their powers are OP as hell as multiversal travel is possible from them and they are aguably able to end all reality like what almost happened in secret wars.
I always thought he was popular because he was in that 90s spiderman cartoon (the one with the "radioactive spiderblood" theme song)
Imagine the spot with military training he'd busting out combo breakers and combos from every direction
Spot - a guy who got hit with a bagel then fused with some kind of tech from the machine explosion in the first movie
Ive been waiting years for a movie with the spot and miguel its just anazing
Anyone else enjoys the way spot fights? Gotta like the way he uses his portals and then punches them so that he can hit things from a far
Nice to see he is finally getting the respect he deserves
The spot is a villain ive always been very intresed in because of how goofy yet how ridciously overpowered he is.
Maaaan did we not know what was coming the spot is an absolute menace
This dude puts the saying "Where there's a hole, there's a goal" to a whole new meaning
I’m hoping that the spot will have the popularity that he deserves
Dude i love how The Spot looks in that art style
Spot could quite honestly be the most Dangerous Spider-man villain if he just had a writer who used his powers right
I remember him in one of the OG Spider-Man cartoons
The spot is the guy who miles threw a bagel at
He's finally gonna get *THE SPOT* light
I hope he’s a really good villain. We barely see him in the trailers!!
Him leaning on the bread and it falling out of his chest was hilarious
