  • The snow conditions were good on the slopes that were open for skiers especially at Arcalís, it felt like skiing on powder day at Arcalís. This week is the big holiday week from Spain, many Spaniards came up to ski in Andorra and regardless of the snow conditions, they are in Andorra so they are making the most of it.
    It will be quieter starting next week until Christmas, New Year then the Three Kings Day, I will keep reporting back to those who are interested in the snow conditions as y’all are coming to ski in Andorran ski resorts. When it’s quiet next week, I will venture out to Soldeu, el Tarter, Canillo…basically all resorts to ski but this week with one or two slopes open with all the Spanish here, I think I will play it safe…Maybe a run or two at first lift before the crowd arrives.
    Don't hesitate to drop me a comment if y'all have any else to add or question that I may have the answer to. Happy Skiing!!!

      Hi Glen! I’m so glad to hear that my videos help, that y’all are coming to ski in Andorra and for the first time YAY!!! Y’all will definitely have a good time as Pal has a good ski school and big area to practice, y’all can even cross over to Arinsal which is equally awesome for first time skiers as the area is small with good practice runs. Let me know if have any questions that I may be of help. Happy holidays and happy skiing ⛷️❄️😎😉

    Pas de la Casa was the first place I ever went Snowboarding on a real mountain. Was with my college 2009/10. Was hooked from then on. Visited many countries now and learned to Ski as well in order to get my snow fix. This year I'm considering Austria again but not 100%.

    good morning! I would like your opinion, as a skier and connoisseur of Andorra: what is the best place in Andorra to stay? Soldeu, Pas de la casa, Grou Roig ??

    • @whatemmanuellesees
      @whatemmanuellesees  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! It depends on what you are looking for:
      Soldeu: fancy hotels especially the Sport Hermitage Hotel and Spa with direct access to the gondola…all good hotels with very nice restaurants but not much of an après-ski life.
      Grau Roig: a two fancy hotels with huge car parks with the biggest ski school in Andorra and nothing else, ski slopes are right at your door step. If you just hang and lounge around in the hotel after skiing then Grau Roig is ok.
      Pas de La Casa is the après-ski capital of Andorra, loads of shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the slopes are right at your door step as well from most of the hotels. Loud place but fun…
      Pas de la Casa has international skiers, Soldeu and Grau Roig might have more Spanish skiers than Pas de la Casa.
      Okiedokie, I hope this helps and Happy Skiing ⛷️

      tanks,@@whatemmanuellesees . thanks, .
      I'm a beginner skier, so I want to make the most of the slopes in my category and gradually progress to others. Of course, it's always good to have some activity after your ski session. We have reservations in Soldeu, but nothing that stops us from going to Andorra la Vella for a walk. thanks again.
