    • @EdDy4RheelZ
      @EdDy4RheelZ 3 года назад

      Whether he was a Yankee or not in the past, it's clearly an accident. He was 1 ball, 2 strikes. Would be pretty retarded to intentionally hit a batter and ruin your work of getting to 2 strikes when he could've just thrown a strike and strikeout one of best batters in mlb. So yeah, it's an accident. Even if he didn't apologize, people would know. But them being former teammates and his reaction to his own pitch, already confirms 200% that it was an accident.

      as for this so-called crying, well, a fan is going to get pissed - you always see it. if it were the other way around, he'd be crying too. so his comment was nothing more than usual trolling by a met's/red sox fan/just another resentful moron trying to take a jab because the best team in the mlb ain't his. but then, he already cried by making a negative comment here. just as I'm crying now, so to speak, trying to fill up the hole in his head, and just as you're crying to trying by egg me on concerning an issue that shouldn't need arguing.

    As a hitter it is FAR worse to be hit unintentionally. With an intentional plunk, you don't have to be afraid of getting hit again. The pitcher can control his spots. Not knowing if the pitcher can control his spots leaves you far more afraid of getting hit again.

    Tie game in the 10th, and they thought he’d his Jeter on purpose? And they call themselves fans? Geez!

    The fans were also letting out their frustrations over Joba's disappointing tenure as a Yankee.

    Been a "Yankee hater" since I was a child, but this is RESPECT! Jeter is the greatest of his generation, in and out of the game. This is what I love about baseball, the sportsmanship and respect players have.

    If pitchers would apologize right after hitting a batter, the batter wouldn't think the pitcher would be trying to hit them. It doesn't cost anything to say "I'm sorry".
