The fact you got Kingda Ka and La Vipora right, and you're probably going to be right about Superman soon is insane. You're like some sort of wizard lol
It’s absolutely astonishing that Kid Flash at Fiesta just derailed, Valleyfair flooded again, and Boomerang at WOF valleyed 3 times all within the span of the last few weeks.
As someone who works at valleyfair, I can tell you Excalibur isn't leaving too soon. They replaced the panel about 2-3 years ago and said they wouldn't get rid of it. I can also tell you we are supposed to finally get a new coaster in 2026 for our 50th anniversary. But we'll see if that happens.
When California's Great America does eventually close, I could see Six Flags sending Demon over to Six Flags Great America to be used for parts on their Demon to extend the life of the coaster. Like how Shockwave and Great American Scream Machine were sent to Magic Mountain to be used on Viper and how XLR-8 was sent to Magic Mountain to be used on Ninja.
Exactly my thoughts! Especially since with Rackshasas theming also being after a demon, it sounds like SFGA is trying to keep Demon going! Good since it’s been my home park for life and I love it to bits XD
The thing about Flash at Discovery Kingdom is that there's no ride that can really replace it and it's pretty iconic to the people that go there. There's no way they'd get rid of it soon. Pretty much any of the Vekomas are more likely to go because the land they sit on could be used so much better and nobody ever goes on them unless it's busy.
Michigan's Adventure needs a new ride. IK Six Flags has the money, so they could give that poor Park something new, like a new age Vekoma or a dive like what they did with Dorney Park
Total sell. I mean, obviously Michigan's Adventure is getting Kingda Ka. We all know that. But great Adventure will break the 700 foot mark just to make sure no one beats their record anytime soon. I mean, it's just common knowledge at this point. ;)
It is genuinely insane how correct this video is. Would not be surprised if it’s close to perfect once all is said and done. Props to your forecasting skills and never tempt fate again (Kingda Ka) 🤣
If Kingda Ka gets removed, they’re also removing Zumanjaro too. So I’m confident the park will do whatever they can to keep Ka up and running. My money is on either Lantern or Superman going before Ka goes
Thought if Green Lantern were to get the ax would that open up room for them to add a spike to Kingda Ka? Granted seeing how that’s working out for Cedar Point I doubt they’d do it unless they can figure out the issues and get it running without major issues moving forward.
I just went to Cedar Point last Sunday and was surprised Rougarou had such a short wait time. I liked the ride, it was surprising but it also beat my head/neck up like the Corkscrew will out there too.
For Cedar Point, I think corkscrew and/or Iron Dragon. Six Flags could do one coaster across both plots and I could see them both used for parts elsewhere.
I feel that airtime thrills will be the one who will get us very accustomed to referring all the former Cedar Fair and former Six Flags parks all as just "Six Flags". I can't wait for more list videos involving the merged company. I'm all for it. Edit: Tbh, I wouldn't mind Flash going the most at Great America, i hate Joker, but i feel that flash is on the line too, I've never considered Maxx Force as a contender to go early but it is a very low capacity ride.
Maxx Force is too good with that launch. It carries the whole ride. Kid flash is all flash in more ways than one. That layout looks like a stronger sedative than a fistful of Ambien 😂
Demon I know is going to stick around for the 50th because the park actually has been adding new effects to it, repainting the station, and S&S still has Arrow reproduction parts to keep it chugging. Plus it’s one of Great Americas opening day attractions and I feel you can’t have Whizzer without Demon Plus, in the rides cheesy story soundtrack, any people who tried to tear the evil spirit down would flee or not be seen again. 😆So bulldozers ain’t going to exorcise it.
Yeah, would be kind of a bad look to celebrate your 50th anniversary by taking out one of the original rides. But I do unfortunately think it will be the next coaster to go.
Placing all bets Flash is next to go. Maxx Force can be on standby just because of it's shitty operations but it does hold a record so we'll see how long it lasts
@@ChuckE.CheesesIllinois You know looking at the map I can see them getting rid of the ancient water rides along with the picnic and theater area and maybe the Flash could get caught up in that. Now that I think about it yeah I'd be shocked if they didn't put there next big Roller Coaster in that area and tell people go to Hurricane Harbor if you want water rides.
@@hankdewild9720 Nah, they're going to keep both flumes going unless they replace both with a Mega Flume. Marriott era rides need to be kept going at all cost and those 2 are the last big Marriott era things that are not coasters. No thank you
I think you are correct with boomerang at SFSL. They have been spending a lot of money and time back in that area. Putting up cat woman close to there and taking out the Superman drop tower. Not too far away is the new rookie racer and the new joker going in. So it seems like they are working a lot at the back of the park. And not far away they took out tidal wave a while back. Kinda seems like there may be a plan for back there
Invertigo at Kings Island has been closed my last 3 or 4 visits, the whole path back to it's entrance is blocked off with a big red expandable barrier. The last time I was there and it was open, me and a friend were in line when the brakes decided "nah, we're good today" and the train rolled back and forth until finally coming to a stop in the station. This malfunction and the closing may be a coincidence but I go to Kings Island weekly so I thought it was worth mentioning. Personally, I'm willing to bet it's on it's death bed. Great video as always! EDIT: OH NO IT REOPENED😭
Excalibur just got a major, very expensive upgrade. I think Mad Mouse will be removed before Excalibur. Mad Mouse is the most inconveniently operated ride there, and a line of 30 people can run 25 minutes or more. I’d see that before Excalibur. Although Excalibur is way tucked back, bigger thrill seekers still go to it! A little more advertising and people will flock to it!
See, I don't believe they're taking Excalibur anywhere as well. I've heard it just got a brand new panel as well. If anything, Mad Mouse probably is the first to go. I'm also waiting to see how long Venom lasts with that holding brake. That is easily the best part, but I know it strains the ride quite a bit.
@@605coasters As long as Steel Venom is around, the holding brake will be working. Steel Venom will leave once there is no way to buy/make parts for it anymore!
I don't think Excalibur has the drawing power to bring people to it they would need to make a section in that area to go along with it for people to go there and I don't think they have space.
LOVED this video. I would be very curious to hear your thoughts on what coaster each park will ADD next as well. I think we might see more Eurofighters for some of the smaller parks.
Am I the only one who feels bad for Skyline? They left a comment on a video about Harley Quinn, and they seemed really committed to taking criticism well and improving in the future. Same with Zamperla. Maybe I'm being weird for feeling bad for corporations.
I think it's completely understandable to care about small companies like Skyline that seem to care about their products. It's a small group of people working towards something They're not some multinational conglomerate where the CEO knows less than 1% of their employees
I think this sort of thing just tends to happen when manufacturers take a big swing outside of their wheelhouses. In Zamperla's case, they have made some decent small-scale coaster models and man do they make AMAZING flat rides.
I feel bad for Zamperla. I was hoping they would knock it out of the park with TT2 and at first it seemed that they did. then the second week of the season happened
I was able to ride Time Warp earlier this week with little issues. It was closed for like 30 minutes, but after a ride on the carousel it was back open. My vote for Canada's Wonderland next removal is Dragon Fyre, and that's because it made me see stars
@@AirtimeThrills I think that’s due to the placement in the park. Raptor, gatekeeper, and valraven all command presence in the front, whereas rougarou is a bit more unassuming, especially with it being right across from millennium force. Also though gatekeeper and raptor only usually have long lines at opening and 12. Valraven is able to sustain its line because of slightly less capacity and being popular with most park goers
Carowinds just repainted Vortex this year, and it got a control panel update last year. I know Nighthawk has the spare parts from Firehawk, but it's still way less reliable than Vortex is. Every time I've gone this season it's been completely down, or only running one train.
This is my thought as well. I think management is probably waiting with bated breath to see what happens with TT2 though. The reasons he states for Ka's removal are valid, but it is still a popular attraction when it's working. But man, Green Lantern is just bad.
Some thoughts on this: Great Adventure is a very interesting debate. Park has done a great job adding coasters without removing any for their last 3 additions (not counting Rolling Thunder). I don't blame you for throwing Kingda Ka in the mix. But I don't think it has the problems El Toro does so as a local this concerns me more. Green Lantern and Medusa I think are in the discussion for next removal there too. Dorney think you nailed it with Possessed and same with KD and Anaconda. I just don't think either happen anytime soon due to recent moves by the park but maybe in 10 years. Cedar Point I have a hot take that T2 is next out. Just have a bad feeling this is not gonna work out and CP will finally give up on it. As for Knotts I hope Coast Rider is next out. Coaster is God awful lol
Why would they get rid of Medusa when they just painted it and re-themed it? I could definitely see Green Lantern but I still think Skull Mountain just because it's old and not very thrilling and they could do some kind of cool dark ride in an updated building or something entirely different... I know CP has the issues with TT2 but I would see Kingda Ka get that treatment before being removed. It's just such an impressive ride at front of park and iconic... maybe have intamin do the conversion this time :)
@lucasm7177 Two reasons. The first being it's the least popular big roller coaster in the park. There's never a line for it unless the park is jam packed. Second being it has a pretty big plot of land available for a major addition. Bigger than Green Lantern's plot for sure if they needed the space. I personally hope Green Lantern is the next to go but I can see it having a longer life than Medusa. Good point about Skull Mountain though. I can see an updated dark ride take its spot. I agree with Ka too, it doesn't have to worry about the specific incident TTD had due to its queue, more about general maintenance with it. Considering Zumanjaro is attached I do think every effort would be made to save it when the time comes
They should put an RMC raptor, Primer Rides Sky Rocket II, or maybe even a boomerang where Coast Rider is, there is pretty much an identical ride to Coast Rider down in Carlsbad with Project X: Technic coaster if you want a ride like it. I didn’t hate Coast Rider but it was the least interesting in the park and there’s a lot that could go where it currently stands.
Regarding Six Flags Over Texas. 3 Coasters that almost certainly will never go. 1) Runaway Mine Train. It is a landmark for first of its kind. 3) Shockwave, not only the first of its kind, but due to City ordinance changes, if Shockwave was taken out, they cannot put anything else on that spot. 3) Judge Roy Scream. It has a similar issue as the Shockwave in that if taken out, nothing else could be put in uts place. It also is a landmark of some sort.
I doubt Timberwolf will be going anywhere anytime soon (maybe they RMC it but hard to say). I have a feeling the next roller coaster at world of fun to go will be boomerang.
It was literally just announced that Boomerang at Six Flags Mexico is now officially on the chopping block, damn. Now, the coaster is located next to the former plot of land of Aquaman, and we know that was the original site of Siren´s Curse before the environmental regulations problem with the Mexico City Govt. (since SFMX is located in the Tlalpan Forest which is environmentally protected, that´s why Superman El Ultimo Escape opened up in 2004 instead of 2002 as it was planned) forced Six Flags to send it to Cedar Point instead, but anyway, by removing Boomerang, that leaves a ton of space west of it, and the Six Pizza between the two can be easily relocated GIVE ME MY VEKOMA/PREMIER MULTILAUNCH/TILT COASTER/B&M DIVE/RMC RAPTOR NOW PLEASE. SFMx has been humbled so bad after Vidanta announced Tecuani and we are in desperate need to have something that isn´t cookie cutter so we can actually now have a world class top 3
@@AirtimeThrills a family coaster sounds great too. I was in SFMx a few days ago and they have removed a lot of rides since 2019, while only adding Crazanity. It's long overdue. I still think of the massive gap we've got to fill with no launch coaster.
Anaconda sits on prime location. For phase 3 of the jungle expedition expansion, I say remove Anaconda for a b&m flyer and retheme Backlot stunt coaster to a jungle truck adventure.
KD will need to round out their family lineup after the launched B&M wing opens. So I expect Backlot will be rethemed long before Anaconda closes. Also, a Mack spinning family coaster would work well on part of the former Dinos Alive site. Could be a Sierra Sidewinder clone.
I feel like Anaconda could use a re-profile or rebuild, possibly something like what was done with Steel Phantom / Phantom's Revenge. The first half isn't too bad but from the midcourse to the double corkscrew, it seems to be unsure of how it's supposed to coaster. Rebuilding that part (or rebuilding the ride anew, with the first section being close to what it was before) would significantly improve the ride.
Well, I had the displeasure of riding Time Warp about a month ago... To be honest I would have been perfectly fine with getting a wrecking ball and wipe it off the map right then and there. Heck even the vehicle design can tell you it's a torture machine. Never before I was on a coaster that tried to choke me...
About King’s Dominion, I don’t think Anaconda will be the next to leave. Considering they have spent so much money for their Jungle Xpedition area, since Anaconda is a part of that, I don’t believe that it will be next to go. They are even in the process of building a new wing coaster for Jungle Xpedition right now. If there were to be a coaster that was removed, I wouldn’t be surprised that it’s something like Backlot Stunt Coaster or Flight Of Fear, maybe to expand the Jungle Xpedition area, but I doubt that Anaconda is the next to leave.
Honestly, I'm not sure Monstre is next for La Ronde. It got RMC track on the first "drop" and a new entrance sign. Maybe Ednor next if it isn't Monstre
Park lacks family coasters already. Ninja is a major one. Only family coaster that "doesn't go upside down", which is big for GP. Not kids, but family coaster. They have two old arrows already. Viper is already disliked by GP, therefor SF corporation. Though I be they'll keep it going for as long as they can. It's cheap and they got two other parks worth of parts for it. Arrow suspended coaster parts also aren't the most rare either.
I hope viper stays open for a long time, it’s one of my favorite rides ever, especially that large turn after the first loop and feeling the wind on your face, also just has a nice view. Having the two red Arrow coasters pretty much next to each other also is kinda cool. That’s usually the first thing that comes to mind when I think of SFMM, either that or the screampunk district + Goliath that you see from the parking lot. I will die a Viper defender.
As a Great Adventure ride op and regular, as much as Ka gives the park issues, they love the thing to death and they’ll go thru hell and back if it means keeping it. Skull mountain and Green Lantern are more likely to leave IMO just due to their age, bad reputations, or low rider ship
I could see skull mountain being removed, since it's almost 30 years old. However it is much more family friendly than so many of their big thrill coasters, other than the fact that it is mostly a dark coaster.
Someone with common sense here. Thank you for mentioning Skull Mountain as a possible removal. I believe that ride has had it's time and looks out of place.
Can you make a video of which parks will get the ax and where the coasters they once had will then be shipped to if it’s either the junkyard or to another park that has better plans for it
Wondering if cedar fair would work with them now that they are merged with six flags. WOF is my home park and if been wanting them to rmc the Timberwolf for a minute now😏
Sadly they probably won't give WoF that level of investment anytime soon. Adding Titan Track to the rest of ZZ's layout seems more likely in the near term. Also, if Six Flags America is sold off, relocating Joker's Jinx there with a new theme and paint job would be a smart move.
I’m so happy that six flags over Texas will probably get rid of la vibora. It’s such a rough ride and sfot needs something new like a dive or wing coaster.
I had an idea for a roller coaster design. It's like an Intamin blitz, or mack launch coaster, but the seats are facing sideways, or outside from the train. Think of it like the back row drop on time traveller, except the seats are permanently sideways. Idk if it would be better than just a spinning coaster tho...
The beast at kings island has been closed often lately. Saturday it was closed basically all day, open for like 20 minutes, got stuck then closed, Sunday it was open from 11, till like 3, got stuck again and closed.
Here’s a idea for SFOT: They could RMC judge Roy scream to make it a family coaster because it’s super rough and I know SFOT is trying to cater more to family’s so this would make sense
So, because of a brush fire, do we get rid of TATSU and Ninja as well, since both were not far from the fire❓️ Also, I happen to ❤ SUPERMAN (Backwards) despite being a 28 second ride. That Backwards Launch feels much faster than the Fowards Car. SUPERMAN has been OPEN quite a bit this '24 season.
@@williampavichevich4877 No, Tatsu and Ninja were far from the fire. The fire was behind Buccaneer and Swashbuckler, next to Superman. Also Superman was open during the spring but has yet to operate during the summer. It apparently had a faulty electrical line and that was what caused the fire at the end of the launch track.
I would think KI would get rid of The Bat before BLSC. It’s a lot older and in prime real estate for something big. But I agree, Invertigo needs to go next (as long as they add another coaster with inversions).
One ahead of Kingda Ka at Great Adventure: Green Lantern. Anybody who goes on it goes for their first time and then never again. It's prime real estate and a terrible ride that was already once relocated. Even could be converted to a floorless. I think that will go before such an icon for the park.
I would love to see Superman get converted into a full circuit coaster instead of being axed for good. If they build up and over it and go down the Mountain they can beat Falcon's Flight for height, longest drop, etc. especially if they had the first drop go into a tunnel. It could be turned into an airtime machine that travels around the back of the park before heading back to the station. SFMM social media has been doing a fair amount of Viper-love posts recently so I don't know if it's just to show love or to show the CF folks that people still enjoy it because it's still an awesome ride. Viper should be an ACE landmark and get the TLC it deserves. I can see Railblazer heading to Six Flags St. Louis. (Video Idea, what parks should get which rides from California's Great America when it closes?)
Much as I like dunking on Time Warp, I'm not sure I'd call that a lock as the next removal at Canada's Wunderbar. It's got such a tiny footprint that you'd struggle to fit even a large-scale flat ride on it. Meanwhile, there's also an unpopular 43-year-old Arrow looper taking up more space in a less-developed part of the park. Might have to work around Leviathan's supports and brake run, but coaster builders are creative, they can figure that out.
At Great Adventure I don't think they would take out King Da Ka first, if anything it would most likely be Skull Mountain. Skull Mountain is almost twenty years old and there is another indoor family coaster not too far away from it. They did some "refurbishing" the first month or two that the park was open this year and when it finally opened, they just added some flashing strobe lights and upbeat music. There is still light peeping through the building making it not completely dark inside. One of the stations for the Skyride is right next door and since that recently closed if they took down Skull Mountain that could make room for a new coaster.
SFOG’s next coaster to get taken out is likely Blue Hawk. Kid Flash on the other is a small possibility. Theirs didn’t derail like the one at Fiesta, but they closed it for precaution so the same thing doesn’t happen to them. The park hasn’t removed any coaster since Georgia Cyclone 7 years ago
It already has a long line because of the slow operation of this ride and I kind of disagree with the video that it is not loved...the GP in Montréal really like it even if it's rough. It is also Iconic for the park so I don't think it will get the axe soon...probably more chaces for the RMC treatment. That would be amazing with that track lenght if they connect both sides! 🙌🤯
@@samueldandoy7577 City of Montreal refused RMC treament (I think in 2017) because they see Le Monstre as a landmark, which is totally absurd IMO. They probably don't understand... It's eventually either RMC or the axe! BTW, connected both sides track would mean a very, very, very, very, very, very long waiting line! My choices for the axe would be 1- Boomerang 2- Ednor. But it will probably be after more flat rides even though there are very few left... I think Vertigo and/or Manitou could close since they are similar to Chaos and Titan.
@@vincentmarquis5212They won’t remove EDNÖR l’attaque because they have the new vest restraint trains in the depot for about a few years now. Ednör l’attaque is getting revamped (Ednör V2)for the 2025-2026 season for sure since it has been a while since a coaster was built.
@@alexisbegin8066 Really? I didn't know that... Well, a nightmare coaster will become a little more tolerable nightmare coaster. Kind of weird that they are waiting few years to change them if they already have it. Maybe because they want to retheme (or only repaint) it and they don't have money for that... Maybe after 2-3 more ride closures, they'll be able to go forward!
For Carowinds, I honestly see Nighthawk, Carolina Cyclone, or Ricochet going first. They just repainted vortex, so I think it's safe to say it's gonna be around a lot longer. Hurler just got retracked, so I seriously doubt it's in danger
I like your choice for Kings Island. The thing that I absolutely love about Cedar Point, Carowinds, and Canada's Wonderland is you have a coaster front and center as you walk into the park. If at all possible, Kings Island needs to find a way to put a coaster in that does this and getting rid of Faceof..., I mean Invertigo opens up space to do this. The big question we all have is how long do the Arrow Suspended coasters have before time catches up and they have no choice but to close them?
Six Flags America is holding on to Batwing by a thread. Whenever you see it open, it’s a must ride because you never know when it will take its last rides. It’s been closed for half the season, but it looks like they got it running this week. SFA honestly can’t afford to lose batwing if they don’t have an immediate replacement. They’ve closed the entire whistlestop park, fireball, zydeco zinger, rodeo, and now shipwreck falls. Roar needs to be RMC’d and firebird is the most pointless coaster ever. There’s going to be some major gaps to fill over the next 5-10 years (If the park makes it)
Agree with most of these. Still think that a lot of parks are more likely to remove Boomerangs next, even if they're not one of the oldest coasters at their park. They've been everywhere, they're an old clone model associated with small parks, and they're not family friendly. Also - because they're compact - they're relatively cheap to remove and replace. So, I won't be surprised if *La Ronde, Worlds of Fun, Canada's Wonderland, Discovery Kingdom, and Carowinds* remove their Boomerangs before Monstre, Timber Wolf, Time Warp, Flash VV, and Vortex. Great Escape might even remove theirs before Steamin' Demon if adding a family Boomerang is more value-added than a small launched coaster with inversions. For parks that don't have Boomerangs, here's what I'd predict differently: *CGA:* Remove RailBlazer first, but only if the northwest corner of the park can be saved. This way, Psycho Mouse would stay. *Knott's Berry Farm:* Relocate Pony Express to Michigan's Adventure; replace with a Vekoma STC *Valleyfair!:* Replace their under-capacity Wild Mouse with an RMC Wild Moose *Six Flags over Georgia:* If Kid Flash can be saved, Dare Devil Dive would be removed (relocated to La Ronde?) first *Cedar Point:* Replace Corkscrew with a launched Vekoma family model. (Better in near term than a new thrill coaster) *Six Flags America:* Park is sold to focus on Kings Dominion; Jokers Jinx and Superman will be removed with Batwing. *Six Flags Great Adventure:* Replace Runaway Mine Train with a launched Vekoma family coaster.
Demon at Great America is an original Marriotts coaster. It used to be called Turn of the Century in 1976. Then it opened as Demon in 1980 when the 2 camel hills were replaced with the 2 loops. When Shockwave closed in 2002 they used a piece of track to repair a section of Demon Track. Six Flags have refurbished some flat rides from the Marriotts era. I think Demon will be staying.
For great adventure I think Medusa might be a better pick. It’s tucked away behind the arena, a bit rough, and the space could be used for a better bigger coaster if the arena is taken down also.
Time Warp (formerly Tomb Raider) is a highly underrated ride. Between it and it's head-banging neighbour, Flight Deck (formerly Top Gun), I'd rather Wonderland remove the latter. Flight Deck is just... ULTRA rough now. Unless they somehow make it a smoother ride experience, it's just not worth riding anymore (and I say that having had my most recent ride last week, on Canada Day. Also, I'm shocked you said Possessed for Dorney. It's a GREAT ride, considering its short design style. It's interesting that you picked a few Arrow loopers/corkscrew variants at the various parks. Aside from some roughness on Anaconda, every Arrow I've ever been on seemed like it was built to last (either that, or they're just ridiculously easy to maintain). Having gotten to ride a bunch of them outside of Wonderland last year, I'm continuously amazed by their solid build quality (from what I've experienced, anyway). That noted, forget Corkscrew... I hope the banish the entirety of Michigan's Adventure to the land of misfit theme parks, or completely overhaul the management. The way that place is run is a stain on the Cedar Fair (Six Flags Entertainment) name. Unless they majorly changed things since last summer...
RUMOR RUMOR RUMOR. the tilt coaster that was supposedly going to energylandia was scrapped, and is being sent to six flags Mexico. word is the red track for said tilt is already being to appear on site at six flags Mexico. so maybe that boomerang going away isn't to farfetched
I think the footprints on Vertical Velocity are small enough that they're not likely to go especially soon. If all you can really replace a coaster with is a flat ride, you need to start weighing other flat rides as possible candidates to get the axe.
Anaconda fits the theme for the area it's in for Kings Dominion, plus they have a lot of room to work with, I don't think we'll see a coaster get removed in a while
At Canada’s Wonderland, I think Flight Decks on its way out. In my opinion, it’s far worse then time warp. Also, there’s a big plot of land beside it where the skycoaster used to be, so they could remove flight deck and put a bigger ride there
If Coast Rider got replaced by a custom Vekoma family boomerang, and maybe one of those newer Vekoma SFCs, that would do wonders for the coaster lineup. I just rode Snoopy's at Kings Island a few days ago, and that ride is just pure fun. Theme them to the beach or surfing and you got a winner on your hands.
The fact you got Kingda Ka and La Vipora right, and you're probably going to be right about Superman soon is insane. You're like some sort of wizard lol

Like how Shockwave and Great American Scream Machine were sent to Magic Mountain to be used on Viper and how XLR-8 was sent to Magic Mountain to be used on Ninja.
Wow, that Kingda Ka prediction was spot on!!! RIP to the King
I'm hoping the closure of CGA extends the life of Demon at SFGAm if they can use the parts.

Michigan's Adventure needs a new ride. IK Six Flags has the money, so they could give that poor Park something new, like a new age Vekoma or a dive like what they did with Dorney Park
Buy or sell: Six Flags relocates Kingda Ka to Michigan’s Adventures. Then Great Adventure builds a 650’ coaster to one up Falcon’s Flight
That’s definitely a sell. SF has no plans on doing that
at least try to be realistic bro
Six flags is the company building falcons flight so I don’t think they need to one up it
Total sell. I mean, obviously Michigan's Adventure is getting Kingda Ka. We all know that. But great Adventure will break the 700 foot mark just to make sure no one beats their record anytime soon. I mean, it's just common knowledge at this point.

It is genuinely insane how correct this video is. Would not be surprised if it’s close to perfect once all is said and done. Props to your forecasting skills and never tempt fate again (Kingda Ka) 🤣
I usually have putrid predictions so I am as surprised as anyone
If Kingda Ka gets removed, they’re also removing Zumanjaro too. So I’m confident the park will do whatever they can to keep Ka up and running. My money is on either Lantern or Superman going before Ka goes
Thought if Green Lantern were to get the ax would that open up room for them to add a spike to Kingda Ka? Granted seeing how that’s working out for Cedar Point I doubt they’d do it unless they can figure out the issues and get it running without major issues moving forward.
Do people like Lantern?
@hankdewild9720 No lmao
@@Valzentia That's what I thought I guess the guy just completely forgot about it as an option. Seems an obvious pick.
@@ninjagirl226 the spike actually lines up perfectly with the parachutes if that were to happen. Lantern wouldn’t need to be cut for it
Man you were 100% correct with Boomerang at Six Flags Mexico. The park just announced earlier today that they are removing it.
3 for 3 so far
Wow you called it with Kingda Ka
I just went to Cedar Point last Sunday and was surprised Rougarou had such a short wait time. I liked the ride, it was surprising but it also beat my head/neck up like the Corkscrew will out there too.
Ya me too, it really hurts my ears, like Alot, great ride though
Please take out Jaguar at Knotts. It's an eyesore. And leaves every rider sore too! Restore some sight lines.
Already you got many correct: La Vibora, Anaconda, Kingda Ka. Posibly Excalibur because it was removed from the app, and Superman.
Whoops wrong flash
The lines at cedar point are so bad. Removing rougarou seems like a non issue until youre waiting 2 hours for valravn and gatekeeper
So far Kingda Ka, Boomerang at SFM and La vibora at SFOT have been nailed
You know Great Adventure has a top tier lineup when Chris needs to use a top coaster at the park, and to say how he is not confident about it
Demon I know is going to stick around for the 50th because the park actually has been adding new effects to it, repainting the station, and S&S still has Arrow reproduction parts to keep it chugging. Plus it’s one of Great Americas opening day attractions and I feel you can’t have Whizzer without Demon
Plus, in the rides cheesy story soundtrack, any people who tried to tear the evil spirit down would flee or not be seen again. 😆So bulldozers ain’t going to exorcise it.
Yeah, would be kind of a bad look to celebrate your 50th anniversary by taking out one of the original rides.
But I do unfortunately think it will be the next coaster to go.
@@Mythyval Don’t get me wrong it is old and to some it’s rough, but it still can have decently long lines and it has a lot of fans.

INVERTIGO SUCKS!! LOL
An RMC raptor replacing Invertigo like what they did to California’s great America would be a good option for KI
Wait what was Excaliburs upgrade?
See, I don't believe they're taking Excalibur anywhere as well. I've heard it just got a brand new panel as well. If anything, Mad Mouse probably is the first to go. I'm also waiting to see how long Venom lasts with that holding brake. That is easily the best part, but I know it strains the ride quite a bit.
@@randompog8493 New control system. Which costs more than a pretty penny
@@605coasters As long as Steel Venom is around, the holding brake will be working. Steel Venom will leave once there is no way to buy/make parts for it anymore!

It's a small group of people working towards something
They're not some multinational conglomerate where the CEO knows less than 1% of their employees

Here’s a bold prediction: Psycho Mouse won’t get relocated. It’ll be scrapped and its parts sent east to support Mad Mouse at Michigan’s Adventure
They replaced the operator panel for Nighthawk recently and just repainted vortex this year. Both of staying for a few more years unfortunately
I was able to ride Time Warp earlier this week with little issues. It was closed for like 30 minutes, but after a ride on the carousel it was back open. My vote for Canada's Wonderland next removal is Dragon Fyre, and that's because it made me see stars
Keep up the awesome content man! Love the hypothetical, fun videos. Gives me my coaster fix without rewatching the same ranking videos all the time
Rougarou did over 1 million riders last year, it’s capacity is just good
@@Specialguy29 I was wondering about that but seems like other good capacity rides have huge lines at CP and this never does
@@AirtimeThrills I think that’s due to the placement in the park.
Watching this after the Ka closure announcement is strange.
I’d say green lantern over kingda ka it either gets removed or relocated it’s not popular and is closed a lot for a B&M.
This is my thought as well. I think management is probably waiting with bated breath to see what happens with TT2 though. The reasons he states for Ka's removal are valid, but it is still a popular attraction when it's working. But man, Green Lantern is just bad.
Honestly green lantern does get a decent line due to its location. If it was far away in the back of the park like Medusa, it would have no line.
@@Commanders2022 the line is also from how long it takes to dispatch
Some thoughts on this:
Great Adventure is a very interesting debate.
My sister will be grateful to hear this. Shockwave is her favorite ride.
(since SFMX is located in the Tlalpan Forest which is environmentally protected, that´s why Superman El Ultimo Escape opened up in 2004 instead of 2002 as it was planned) forced Six Flags to send it to Cedar Point instead, but anyway, by removing Boomerang, that leaves a ton of space west of it, and the Six Pizza between the two can be easily relocated
GIVE ME MY VEKOMA/PREMIER MULTILAUNCH/TILT COASTER/B&M DIVE/RMC RAPTOR NOW PLEASE. SFMx has been humbled so bad after Vidanta announced Tecuani and we are in desperate need to have something that isn´t cookie cutter so we can actually now have a world class top 3
This will probably be the plot of their new family boomerang
@@AirtimeThrills a family coaster sounds great too. I was in SFMx a few days ago and they have removed a lot of rides since 2019, while only adding Crazanity. It's long overdue. I still think of the massive gap we've got to fill with no launch coaster.

Anaconda sits on prime location. For phase 3 of the jungle expedition expansion, I say remove Anaconda for a b&m flyer and retheme Backlot stunt coaster to a jungle truck adventure.
I would like to see Backlot coaster be renamed HOT WHEELS (like the miniature toy cars,,,)
@@bairives63 Mattel will not allow that since they have two parks under construction.
I agree, the park doesn't need two inverts
I agree with Batwing. For all of the fans who want to keep it around, it has way too much down time to stay more than another 5 years.
I think Ninja at Magic Mountain is the next to go. I think Viper gets the Loch Ness Monster treatment.
What I don't like about Ninja is that break run. It is so long. At least Green Lantern is gone for years now.
Arrow suspended coaster parts also aren't the most rare either.
viper more likely to get the phantoms revenge treatment imo. MM needs a solid airtime machine besides twisted colossus
@@donaldkennedy9573now, we got Wonder Woman flight of courage 2 years ago.
I just got back from Carowinds. Ditch the boomerang, it’s the only bad coaster in the park.
As a Great Adventure ride op and regular, as much as Ka gives the park issues, they love the thing to death and they’ll go thru hell and back if it means keeping it. Skull mountain and Green Lantern are more likely to leave IMO just due to their age, bad reputations, or low rider ship
I was wondering about green lantern, but still hard to believe they'd take it out
I could see skull mountain being removed, since it's almost 30 years old. However it is much more family friendly than so many of their big thrill coasters, other than the fact that it is mostly a dark coaster.
Someone with common sense here. Thank you for mentioning Skull Mountain as a possible removal. I believe that ride has had it's time and looks out of place.
You have gotten one right so far with La Vibora will just have to wait and see on the others
Possibly Ka

Timber Wolf being getting the RMC treatment is the next roller coaster choice at WOF
It’s such a rough ride and sfot needs something new like a dive or wing coaster.
i rode that at Magic mountain, then it was moved to Texas,, rode it there too.. its was still a crappy ride
I agree so much and what’s the point of the restraint it almost does nothing
I had an idea for a roller coaster design. It's like an Intamin blitz, or mack launch coaster, but the seats are facing sideways, or outside from the train. Think of it like the back row drop on time traveller, except the seats are permanently sideways. Idk if it would be better than just a spinning coaster tho...
I think that would cause some crazy lateral forces. I'm all for it but I'm not sure the GP would be...
Sideways seats sound bizarrely uncomfortable...it would cause all kind of neck and back issues

To be honest, I would've rather still had Great American Scream Machine.
That CGA relocation video is one i made right after the announcement
SFSL - Boomerang has been open every time we were there this season and operations improved every time we went. I'd be happy to see Ninja go.
Gotta do this for independent parks
I'm right with you on Skull Mountain as it's been around since 1996, its had its day.

Facts
For parks that don't have Boomerangs, here's what I'd predict differently:
*CGA:* Remove RailBlazer first, but only if the northwest corner of the park can be saved. This way, Psycho Mouse would stay.
*Knott's Berry Farm:* Relocate Pony Express to Michigan's Adventure; replace with a Vekoma STC
*Valleyfair!:* Replace their under-capacity Wild Mouse with an RMC Wild Moose
*Six Flags over Georgia:* If Kid Flash can be saved, Dare Devil Dive would be removed (relocated to La Ronde?) first
*Cedar Point:* Replace Corkscrew with a launched Vekoma family model. (Better in near term than a new thrill coaster)
*Six Flags America:* Park is sold to focus on Kings Dominion; Jokers Jinx and Superman will be removed with Batwing.
Video idea: rank all the major clones (batman the rides, s&s freespins, boomerangs, slcs, wild mouses ect.)
What if Six Flags rebought Elitch Gardens and turned it into something great? It’s my home park and I want it to be great.
