Great video! I would love a “what I ate in a day” video modeling eating this way for weight loss. I’m always looking for healthy, oil free dressings and sauces to help add flavor to dishes.

I am going to start this type of diet - diet at first for weightless, then my plan is to make it a life time change. I suffer from gut issues and I continue to sabotage myself daily. I have a love hate relationship with food. Just this video made sense w/your comparisons! I'm going to venture to your Meal Prep and what you eat in a day. I'm desperate for a new pattern of eating and I love most all foods so I shouldn't have too much trouble unless I give in to have something sweet with someone or because I am having a very hard weak moment. Hoping IBS likes this way of eating. The wife of the chiropractor office I go to suggested this to me. I'm needing to lose 35 lbs for starters then I want to maintain and develop this as my way of eating. Thank you for making this understandable.

Give it a shot and go at a rate that feels sustainable and doable for you, see how you feel and really tune into what feels good for digestion and what doesn’t. You may even want to journal your progress to be able to have something to compare to. There’s tons of free recipes on my website too www.veganmichele.com
      All the best❤️

I want to start whole food plant based diet, but I'm underweight and need to gain some weight and I worry this might not be for me. It is hard to find videos how to gain weight on vegan diet, all are about weight loss, but for those who need the opposite, do you think this can still work? Could you pls make a video for those who wish to gain weight on plant based diet? 💕

Eat nuts, nut butters, seeds and avocado every day with your meals. Eat your veggies too but don’t load up on them. The calorie density chart can help you trying to gain weight as well as you incorporate those high calorie density foods into your diet.

Hi Jana, a whole food plant based diet is great for all body types and can absolutely be tweaked for your needs. Eating this way for overall health is important for disease reduction and can be tailored to meet your needs. I’m sorry my focus is so much on weight loss😊 but I’d love to make a video focusing on gaining weight for those who need it as well. I’ll post it in the next few weeks. Take care!

Recalls are most often because of contamination from animal and human fecal matter and fluids (E. coli, listeria, salmonella). Also mislabeling for allergens.

I have something to say. I am a vegetarian. I am a vegetarian because I don't believe in killing animals for food.
I do not eliminate cheese milk yogurt eggs and honey and oil because I believe they are an important part of your being. I was not raised on eating kale grass and all that other stuff that plant-based people eat. To tell you the truth I did try it. It is definitely not for me because it eliminates most of the food that I have grown up with. I truly believe you can eat whatever you want. Portion control is essential even on a plant-based diet. Getting your tush off the couch is
Definitely a should be. You know what they say everything in moderation even that half cup of ice cream. Think about it. I guess whatever works for you

    • @somegirlontheinterwebs

No disrespect intended and not wanting to argue but not eating meat because you don't believe in killing animals helps but you should also consider the killing/ inhumane conditions that goes on to produce any animal products, example what do you think happens to all the male chicks that are born that are of no use to the egg industry because they cannot produce eggs. Or the cows that get impregnated over and over again, have their baby's taken away and fed on formula so we can then take that milk.
In today's world there are soooo many other options to dairy and eggs that you won't miss it at all.
Again, not wanting to argue and you are certainly entitled to your opinion and to do you but just wanted to add my 2c have a blessed day.

      Hi Lovi,
Thank you for your comment and I truly believe everyone is able to decide what diet works best for them. But I just want you to understand that the information I present about eating this way in this and many of my videos is not coming from just my opinion. There are many scientific studies as well as doctors who promote this way of eating for overall health, longevity, and prevention and reversal of disease like cancer, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes.
It is highly important to eat foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and beans regardless of what kind of diet you choose.
And unfortunately the dairy industry employs practices and conditions that are very inhumane to animals as well as subject them to a multitude of additional growth hormones which in turn affect our health negatively when we consume them.
Yes I agree with you portion control and exercise is important but they are not the only component to weight loss. But long term, even animal products where the animals are not killed are still harmful to our health and harmful to the factory farmed animals themselves.
But the bottom line is that we all have to decide what is best for us, and I am simply presenting this way. All the best to you!😊
