Thanks for the quick update! :-)
Here are my 2 cents on the topic:
Region_Modified should only be used as a “label”-field in a dTable and not as a field that is used in calculations; for that they should use the Region field (unmodified). That’s how I would use it anyway.
That should avoid all those issues, IMO.

Hello, what about sorting formatted measure as text showing positive and negative values? How UNICHAR can work in this case?
Regardless of anything else I'd like to know how you found the code 8203? , also for introducing the
Characterfromnumber etc.

Maybe it's better to add the repeated characters to the end of the text column. So there will be no issues with the usual filtering.
