Drilling across an existing hole... I keep some hardwood scraps around, and drill a hole in that, and clamp in place as a locator for the saw [final cut with no pilot bit] - works well
Awesome job so far. Curious why you guys decided to fab up parts that already exist? Frame boxing/bracing kits specifically. Including man hours to fab and materials, would it have just been cheeper to buy one of the kits from Speedtech, Summit, HPI, Hellwig or any other available options?
There is the easy way and the Eric way of doing things. He really enjoys fabrication and building everything from scratch. I think there is that extra satisfaction from knowing you started with some flat stock and designed/prototype it all on your own. Plus, some of what we do is for the channel to teach people that might have more time than money how to accomplish their projects.
@@genuismensa Make total sense, I was just curious. Thanks for answering. I appreciate the effort involved either way. I wish I had the experience and know how to start a project like this - especially with a 1970 Chevelle.
Rennen 3 piece wheels these are a 13" and clearance is tight! A 335 fits on a 12" rim perfectly. These were used from a friend. The silver ones are Oz racing 20x12 with a 335 tire on them
Can I just say being trendy by trying to stuff this wheel up under that well is still be drivable is a fucking joke from jump street . your looking for problem all over the place .
Hasta be best start to any you tube video
Bro got 13k views on a video and just logged off forever. Respect.

Do you guys have any updates coming??
Awesome work man!

Nice car, I am doing something similar. Did your rear boxed frame allow for you to use the stock tank?
