James Grider could bring down that building by spawning the Wykkdik through support beams, breaking them. I like how there are trees growing on the building. People need to buy up my "Impact" a James Grider novel on Amazon enough times that I can afford to move to an area where trees could grow on a building because I live in the desert and there are almost no trees. It's too open and too exposed.

Hye there. Nice video. Tq for exploring the abandoned apartment. My family stay at tower 3 in 1984-1992. It was sweet memories that I play with my Friends especially in parking ground floor and swimming pool.

When I first started watching this it was pretty epic, than I watched the documentary about the collapse of the first tower back, and the baby that died in it (I think there was one, maybe 2 but I know of one for sure) made me feel extremely sad, now back on this video it just makes me more sad.
i just found this channel, and i really like how cody explain the story behind each place. i always fascinated with abandoned places and curious about the stories behind them. Thank you Cody for making these videos, keep up the good work. i also think your page are so underrated, it deserves more views :)
If you look at the ceiling decoration, you can imagine what a beautiful place it was. A biotope is now growing there and I bet it looks like hanging gardens once it's properly established. Awesome!

Actually not a lot of people were sent to the hospital. Only two adults and one child were rescued from the building, and one of the adults died in the hospital. The government pretty much bungled the rescue operation. They didn't have any equipment or a plan to rescue people from a collapsed building like that.

there's actually a malaysian movie called "highland tower" and it's based on true story but some of us don't believe it. so you guys should check it out and tell us if it's true or not with your opinion and based on your experience bcz you've been there
It is. Once this building collapsed, they stopped the building of houses in that hill. Only anything on the foot of the hill is allowed to be build. By the way, hoped you enjoyed yourself in Malaysia from all of your fans here!! 😊😊

We had an appartment in 1982 in one of these towers …. I remember that most of the appartments where occupied by occidental people because that was expansive for malaysan people at that time … we lived on the 7th floor 🥺 a swimming pool was there also ‘

Highland Towers are most haunted place in malaysia. Beware. Stop by at Petaling Street, Malaysia Chinatown.
many many people died in the tragedy behind the Highland Towers. A whole lot more were buried to death under the rubble.
This place is truly haunted. There were at least 4 different attempts by different producers to either make a film or documentary about the haunting and the tragedy. None of these films ever made thru, and people thought it couldve been cursed too.
You were lucky bro... Thank god nothing happened. But I guess cos you went in the daytime, but it wouldve been a totally different story if you were to be there at night. There are many restless spirits there. Its best to not bother them.

Hello Exploring With Cody whats up? There's abandoned hospital in Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur - Cheras - Poliklinik Cheras - Used to be a government hospital but it is being abandoned with no reason, been to the place before seems haunted and bizarre, rumors heard that there are still some dead patient that is loitering around the area.
And you can also check out Kuala Lumpur - Victoria Institution - A very famous landmark in Kuala Lumpur, V.I. a boys school was a Japanese base during the occupation of Malaysia. Many British soldiers and locals were brutally tortured to death in the basement and some of the older buildings on the campus. It is said that not only are apparitions common in the day as well as the night, there have been many cases of spirits possessing students. The possessed boys would behave strangely, even violently, harming other students and teachers only to snap out of it a few hours later and remember nothing, even when they were forcibly restrained, their bruises would disappear when they returned to normal.
Kuala Lumpur - Pudu Prison - Old prison that was abandoned after the area around it became commercialized. Reports of a strange thin Indian man walking the prison hallways and disappearing around the corner. Screams can be heard from the room where hangings take place. Certain areas such as specific cells and holding chambers were far colder than others. - Update: They are turning this back into a prison (for low security prisoners) as no one will take it up for commercial property as it is too well known for the hauntings. There were plans to turn it into a hotel where you can stay a night at the cell of the most notorious criminals. Actually, the listing is wrong about hangings. The hangings do not take place at Pudu prison. Unless its self inflicted/murder. Official hangings are done outside Pudu. There were of course many in-prison acts of violence that led to deaths of inmates. Many drug addicts were known to be victims of violent criminals and so they were moved out into another prison elsewhere.
Kuala Lumpur - Highland Towers - A tragic event that will forever live in the memory of Malaysians. One of the 3 blocks of apartment at this place fell apart due to landslide and heavy downpour prior to that fateful day. And Highland Towers have become famous for claims of being a very haunted place. Voices of the dead can be heard at night and ghostly figures are said to have appeared at the scene. There are also a story about a taxi driver who picked up a woman passenger at the middle of the night and being asked to drop her at the place.She left a bag and the poor taxi driver found it to be full of blood!
Kuala Lumpur - Bukit(Hill) Tunku - A spooky place to be. Bukit (Hill) Tunku is actually one of the more elite residential areas in Kuala Lumpur. This place has many big and tall trees, and has this eerie feeling about it even at broad daylight and of course at night. It is said that a few years ago two youth embarked on a high speed motorcycle chase around the curvy roads of the area. One of the youth crashed at a dark stretch of the road, which is actually a very sharp corner. There have been claims about sightings of a young man riding a motorcycle at high speed, who mysteriously vanished in the dark.
the building in 11.20 isnt abandoned many people live there... The area is called Bukit Antarabangsa

My friends & I drove there once after midnight to take up a dare. We just reached the gates but didnt go inside because we literally freaked out. It was so creepy.
The building that u see at the top of the hill is the same building that build by a same company . Its abandoned too and there is one more building in the side of the hill . All of that building is a "high class" condo back then but one of the collapse because of the land slide underground . A fact about the highland tower is only a child and a maid where alive when the tower collapse while other is gone😥

I do believe the building on hill behind it is:::BUKIT ANTARABANGSA DEVELOPMENT PROJECT.....A new housing built in 1991....collapse in 1993 or could be tge building that collapse. I am reading on internet anout this.It is saying the 2 buildings left need to be torn down. I spection said they could collapse at any time.

Looking at Google. I do not see another tall building behind the towers. I do see houses, apartment and condominium buildings and ither things, further back.
AWH!!!!More looking. I see PUNCAK ATHENAEUM.....it is very tall and 2 buildings here. Looks lije it is still being used. Guard Gate for cars coming and going. Ny the pictures of this place. Very nice and has a huge pool that is very clean. That is why I think it is still being used.. I hope this helps?

my family always said there was an earthquake and it eruppted all of them but 2 building survived
after few months later there were numeral reports of something paranormal about that building (from what I heard)
it is so near i can literally see it at my balcony

Remembered that collapse, my church member that had a penthouse there. It was due to underground water that was not addressed by the developer. How this project got signed off ,is anybody's guess.
