Nice to see that Ken never got shut out of Carcass, and still isn't. Jeff and Bill cut Ken into an equal share of any money made from Carcass..How cool is that??
Torn Arteries is like a tribute to Ken in a lot of ways, with the album title and songs were stuff that Ken came up, even though he sadly can't play Carcass music anymore, he's forever CARCASS🤘
Ken Owen, you will always be a beast. You were part of the bands that influenced me when I was younger playing drums. I was speechless when I found out about his health :-/.
Ken is the best ever i love this guy carcass was the biggest influence in my playing, so sad he can't play drums anymore with these guys. And blow my mind like they did in the 80's on traces of death when i heard my first carcass song
Would love to share a pint with these jokers. Nice to see Ken is doing well, as well as the rest of the band. Love Carcass FOREVER, Swansong is one of the greatest metal albums of ALL TIME. Period.
good record but it is not a carcass album. It would have been well received if it was not released under the carcass moniker. I remember being like wtf is this when it came out. Even heartwork was hard to digest at first but at least that is still reminiscent of their earlier albums. Actually, now that I think of it, all their albums are different and part of a progression, But I still say swansong is not carcass. Ill stop rambling now haha
It's so cool how the band members wrote parts for each other's instruments. That's common in rock (e.g. Beatles), but often less so in metal. You can tell they were best friends who respected and inspired each other.
Class act.What I've always dug about Carcass was the punk/metal vibe they've always had.Sick death metal riffs,good musicianship,hooks,and great lyrics.Surgical Steel rules.Good interview,cool guys.
25 years later, the intro to the song "Reek of Putrifaction" still sounds as creepy as fuck, love that because it's just dark and evil brutal song, i still listen to that record quite a bit
It's weird to keep hearing Driffield mentioned as I originally hail from the East Riding of Yorkshire. Also..... Is it wrong for a grown ass woman to find Jeff and Bill extremely attractive?!
Women really do ask some stupid shit sometimes. Not being rude, this is reality, but that entire statement/question seems as if; weltering from a Barney epidode is a normal thing.
I love Jeff, Bill, Ken and Mike. I love Ben Ash. And Dan and James. All different eras of the band but all cool people. I'd love to meet Jeff and Bill but I'd be a bit scared!
I'll never forget Bill taking 5 minutes out of his life to refuse a beer and explain the direction Necrotism was going to an average punter, explaining how the weird shit people sent them disturbed the band. Great albums full of cultural significance, made by good bunch of blokes
To this day...when i have a metal craving ...its either "Bonded by Blood " or "Symphonies of Sickness " ....nothing else will do...till i get my feet wet ...then the Trouble , Celtic Frost , Entombed, Satan etc ... But w/o exception... Ill haveta to hear my favorite metal band "CARCASS " ...( replacing Slayer sometime in 89 i believe)
thryr shitlocks...and retare hard to keep bug free.one child with lice accidently touches you and your whole family circle and friends and theyr families will all get it.only way to get rid of it then is to shave your head.and you havta shave your hea to cut off th dhitlocks as well normally.not a good trade off at all and super nasty.
I was excited when I heard it in the background, like " holy shit, there are places in the world where MAIDEN is played in public, I want to be there!" I grew up in rural New England in the States, we were never going to hear them on the radio or in a bar. Metal was for the people, kids love it, but mainstream thoroughly ignored it. England is killer, I would love to go there.

It's a real shame he suffered but it's great that he is still involved. It wouldn't be the same without him.
It really shows how genuine and cool Jeff and Bill are
wish it was always that way with people.
This os not a band,its a brotherhood
Torn Arteries is like a tribute to Ken in a lot of ways, with the album title and songs were stuff that Ken came up, even though he sadly can't play Carcass music anymore, he's forever CARCASS🤘
I'm glad they include Ken, I'm sure alot of bands would've just told him to stay home, but Carcass are good lads. One of the best bands ever.
As lame as it may sound, seeing Kens smile warms my heart.
nothing lame about it.
Ken is such a wholesome guy in addition to a legendary drummer in extreme metal history. Gotta love him.
Not at all. I feel the same way.
Ken Owen, you will always be a beast. You were part of the bands that influenced me when I was younger playing drums. I was speechless when I found out about his health :-/.
Necroticism is without a doubt, my favorite album of all time
Same! The greatest metal album of all time. Best songs: inpropagation and forensic
It is MOST excellent, nothing like it
Best metal band in the world. Love old carcass, but surgical steel is hands down the heaviest album ever written.

Awesome. Great documentary so far. Can't wait for Part 3. Hail Carcass.
Weird to see Ken not speaking, but we know why, but good to see him alive!!!!

the same Bill Steer who is one of the greatest guitarists in all of metal and was in the peak lineup of Napalm Death?
