- What's in my handbag for work- Not only is this handbag in one of my favorite colors (olive green), but it also has a long shoulder strap, which is another favorite feature with any bag I choose. Originally, this tote was posted on the Madewell site, but now, for whatever reason, it was taken down. I purchased mine directly from the Madewell store in San Jose, California.

I just got this exact one from Nordstrom and the olive color (deep woodland) is very pretty and versatile in person. For the longest time I debated between English Saddle and Deep Woodland, but decided to go for the limited edition color, and I love my choice.
It really fits quite a bit as seen in your video, and the open top will just allow me to carry more and still put a scarf or sweater on top.

I have a tote from Madewell I love it! You can remove the scratches by rubbing them with your finger. Pretty color!

thelizdiaries I think what people don’t realize is you will lose the look of the tote somewhat adding a zipper zipper...it totally changes the look of the bag so you can either buy them with the zipper or without. personally, I like the convenience of an open top never had a problem
MsLouisV agree...I have a tote without a zipper and I love it. Don’t like the zippers on totes.

That is a beautiful bag and colour. Love the long strap(s)! It would be nice if it was zippered but it's a tiny bit too "floppy" for me. I guess I like a bit more structure in my bags. How heavy is your bag with all your stuff in it?

Does this fit as a cross-body on you? I'm looking to get in it in black. I'm 5'4 and have been curious about the fit.
It could...But it's a little awkward (too high up my torso). I prefer to just wear it as a shoulder bag vs crossbody.
