Ziovo, Nice presenting - very calm and at the speed I can absorb. Hands down the best video editing tutorial. 16.28 mins later I'm confident I can create a video today. You're top notch coach in this niche.
Thank you for covering this. Most channels won't bother with an introduction into a free video editing software. Much less a high quality video like you produced. I am very new to video editing and have been trying to soak up as much as possible in VSDC. This is greatly appreciated.
Wow! This video gave me the clear base for VSDC,as i am a begginer in video editing,i loved the video!! ive been searching for a lot of tutorials, but none of them worked! But your video is perfect amd clearly understandable :) Now i know editing:) lol
I appreciate you making this. I like that you speak clearly and slowly. I found it challenging to follow though because the big yellow circle constantly covered what you're pointing to. Maybe if it was smaller or more transparent it would be easier to see what's underneath it that you are pointing to? Just a thought. 😁
Yes as of now I have a real slow pc it was mostly for Word and emails and other low power things and one day I did try using DaVinci and boy I lagged beyond belief 😂
That was a good rep of how to use the basics of VSDC. Pretty cut & to point not a lot of Fluff. I lost my properties window, some how it took long time for me to find out how to open it again. Do you have videos talking about opening & closing windows & more precision editing. I have to cut sometimes between a spoken word of a person, it gets tricky, if I can't see the sound waves. Thanks good job!!
Very nice tutorial! You are one of the best at teaching this stuff. I downloaded it liked it so much, I paid for the pro version. I hope you do more tutorials with this.
hey this is awesome but for some reason on the preview and when im editing a video it lags like crazy, but when exported its fine, how do i fix that so i can edit properly
You can adjust the resolution of the preview downwards which will help. if you look in the settings you can also choose to skip frames while previewing. The amount of lag is affected by the number of layers, the complexity of the images and the resolution of the source material as well as the spec of your computer.
@@alongrandomwalk8126 can you make title, save it and reuse in other video again and again like you do in Filmora ? Just like a layer, say in the middle of the video as a subscribe button ?
Was an informative video thx , I also want to thank you for for not having any music playing in the back ground with that being said lose the yellow ball I had trouble seeing what you were clicking on until you moved the curser away ,, might just be me but lees is more ..
Yeah, I’ve heard that davinci has an amazing amount of features and is really good! But my computer isn’t powerful enough to run it sadly so vsdc should work the best for me :P
Great video bro my only concern is that is it working properly on a laptop ? and if you could make the advanced options of it that will be appreciate it good luck
Are you able to use this for long projects? And, would you recommend this if you were taking screen shots, after screenshots of a drawing to create an animation?
Hey Ziovo, I remember I watched hundreds of RUclips growth tutorials, but none of them were simple for me to understand.. and none of them helped me to grow. But then, I found your tutorial, and I was the happiest person. Now, I wanna do good on Instagram.. but I'm faced with the same exact problem.. I can't find simple concise tutorials for Instagram growth. Do you plan on making an Instagram growth tutorial? 🙏❤
Thank you! A very useful begginers tutorial! Question. If I start editing a video, and have not finished, and need to keep editing a week from now... do I just save or save as and close down the VSDC program and when I open it again it will be there? Or do I open it from the file where I saved it to?
@@stephenfell4338 Stephen, sometimes people are busy... or aren't checking their media, or probably with covid around, he has family that is sick... better be patient.
I recommend save the project. It is saved as .vproj and you can come back and edit any time. The app ask whether to save if you click the close button accidentally. Hope that helps.
I bought this for a school project. Coming from iMovie, I knew nothing about how to use this. This helps A TON! Thank you so much! Also, plot twist: this video was edited on VSDC!
How do you select multiple clip segments and drag them along the timeline without messing up the sequencing? Especially if you're selecting clips that span across different layers?
is there a way to show the effects added to each clip? everytime i add an effect i can't see if anything is added until i double click each clip even in the tutorial, once you add an effect, it goes away once you go back the main timeline
Without a doubt, the bet intro tut Ive seen anyone do. Clear, to the point, no excess flashing or audio blasting. Thank you!

It’s lags and crashes even if you’re using a computer tough enough to launch space shuttles lol.
Thanks for watching! Which video editor do you guys currently use to edit your videos?
@Cartoon never used it but I’ll check it out !

This is top notch content. Super spot on. Just perfect.
New subscriber, your teaching ability is detailed and easy to understand...bravo!
Excellent Tutorial. I had a question, does VSDC Editor allow custom typeface (font) import? I'll be happy if you answer.
Edit: Nevermind, it does.
It uses your system fonts -- tried downloading a bunch of new fonts and all of them showed up =)

How to create 0:27 that text transition you added at the bottom of the screen
