last year my favorite combo got stolen out my van my fault forgot to bring it in but money was tight as i just bought new motorcycle and in the process off moving so i thought i was wasn't gonna fish that summer was gonna wait till this year to buy a new one but my girlfriend came home from work one day and had bought me the max x combo and i love it great rod and reel i now swear by em who would of thought my non fisher girl friend would of put me on lol and this year she bought her self a cheap spinning combo and said she was gonna try out fishing with me so im super hyped for that our first trip together is this Wednesday in 3 days

I wish more rods and different strength rods would come in 6,6 I feel for me personally 6,6 is perfect also what is with all these stores not selling left hand retrieve reals smh
My black max has red handle and nobbies RED all red so is gen 4 🤔 from Walmart for $20 i that it was a good deal. The Max X reel is the take over of the Black Max 🤫 big changes coming. The new still of rod is nice better than the old ones kinda ya is my go to for medium power rod or medium heavy power moderate fast Action rods I like it better than full carbon medium power fast Action rod's. But the fiberglass in it for durable uses. Like having kid's there ruff with stuff and losing stuff into the blue is common. 😮💨 Get tired of rods that's just broke for little things. This new ABU Garcia rod's is what I've been talking about for years.
I’m right handed but I use lefty. I purchased a left handed one on Amazon, then bought the combo at Walmart. Swapped out the reels and sent the right handed one back to Amazon 😂😂😂😭😂

I got the new one and I like it a lot. Extremely smooth and cast light weights far. Haven't landed a fish yet so can't comment on that yet.
