Doesn't Party Heal give 90% of the Godsbeard's effectiveness to all party members (based on the casters pipe)? So you basically get 270% of a Godsbeard when party healing, in exchange for using an attack move (if done in battle).
That is a great catch. So in reality, the effectiveness of upgrading the pipe to bone pipe and using party heal makes the herb be 8.1 times more effective than 9 times. Still extremely powerful.
Yes, party heal does reduce the effectiveness of the Godsbeard for each character but it allows that player to use a different item on their turn. Typically the high damage character will need to use a Golden Root or Dancing Nettle during their turn. I personally think Golden Root might be more important than a Hagsbane for this exact reason. Focus is by far the most important resource beside Life. Also, I always suggest my party carry a Toadswart for clutch situations where they can use it during battle and level up. Leveling up will provide both health and focus.
I'm about 4 hours into my first run and absolutely loving it. I'm surprised I hadn't heard about it long ago. I so love all the variety, good and bad. Makes something special out of a simple design. Like a Master Thief stealing 170 gold and a Helmet then vanishing in a puff of green smoke. Argh!! I'll remember that one Mr Thief! Can't wait to keep exploring.

It's harder to learn the ins and outs of deeper games like this and these tips are going to change my game. I'm a green horn to for the king but I love what it offers and I can't wait for that "click" to happen when I start getting good at it.

I find that after upgrading your pipe, that extra focus point is more crucial than those 15 HP. That said, I rarely play without the Herbalist, so I might be a little cavalier about my herbs.
I'm really late to the party but thanks for all the helpful videos. I'm slowly making my way through everything. Is there anything major info that you discuss in a video that's changed? I'm also curious what you mean by wasting hero turns in tip #2. I haven't found any way besides party heal to use herbs in the middle of a fight so every turn (unless I'm using party heal) is just business as usual.
Party heal should only be used in emergencies. Each hero can take an herb without wasting their action. So just spread out herbs before battle. Hope this helps!

For the best success with your channel, I'd advise a little bit of work with editing (just the basics such as balancing the music better with your voice, fixing the aspect ratio of the footage, and perhaps some cuts - when necessitated). Hey, thanks for the feedback. I do have a long way to go with editing. I’m trying to do more up front prep work to save some time in editing. I’ve also upgraded mic and keep doing adjustments. It will get better over time.

That’s a great response. I think so many of my generation and younger don’t get how great we have it. Also, my grandfather was a WW2 vet and it’s a tribute to him as well. The tank is a Sherman tank in his honor.

I agree that editing can be improved but I would say everything I do needs to be improved. This is just the start and it'll get better over time.
You may need to clarify but I think what you are asking is how you buy the items you unlocked in the lore store in game? They kind of randomly pop up or you find them in encounters on the map.
@@prodphet It was maybe level 11-12 with my characters but the lightning revenant dude destroyed me and i ran out of hearts :/ i got to vexor with one party member but whats worse.... i cleared the entire map lol

The pipe is by far the most important upgrade in the game so your herbs get more bang for their buck, so I agree with what you are saying.
Panax also removes Acid. It was added to the herb later by IronOak Games.
