Subhanallah. There are so many lessons in the Quran which go beyond the literal tafseer. There is so much that we still do not understand about the words of Allah, the infinite wisdom of Allah is truly mind boggling. We will never ever get to fully understand how great Allah is, his greatness is always infinitely greater than what we think. All glory and praise belong to Allah the lord of all worlds.

SubhanAllah!
Sub'hanallah wabihamdihi Sub'hanallah liazim
May Allah forgive our sins and grant us jannah
aameen!
Tafsir Ibn Kathir:
وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى اللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِ
(And as one who invites to Allah by His leave,) means, 'you call mankind to worship their Lord because He has commanded you to do so.'
وَسِرَاجًا مُنِيرًا
(and as a lamp spreading light.) means, 'the Message that you bring is as clear as the sun shining brightly, and no one can deny it except those who are stubborn.'
According to Ibn Kathir and Kurtubi
وَسِرَاجًا مُنِيرًا
is Al Quran not Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him)
Sir the prophet is not a prophet unless he preaches the Quran... The word of God...

I just realized - the sun is a lamp and the moon reflects the light from the sun - the messengers (as) delievered the light, the guidance, and the moon reflects, ie reiterates what they said. Just my thoughts.
