I have this and the 25, since I tent camp mostly solo this is my favorite to bring. Interesting I have the same cutting board and similar vessel for the oil. Love that this is a real cooking video and not just boiling water. Yummmm, new sub here. Thanks.
Both rehydration and cooking have their advantages and disadvantages. If I have time, I like to cook something good and tasty. Dehydrated food has advantages in weight and cooking speed.
@@vladonpath5306 agree but not everyone backpacks, there are more people that doesn’t and for those of us is a breath of fresh air to see real cooking than just boiling water and boiling tests.
Looks like amazing food, and Trangia is a great choice :) The trangia 27 was my first alcohol stove too. One thing I recommend for the mini is to add a windshield to it. The "vargo" mini windshield fits it great & fits inside the set... or otherwise you could just cut up your own aluminum windshield from a disposable aluminum baking tray. Have fun with your new stove!
The T28 was my first Trangia cook set and it became like an addiction ever since. Soon followed the T27 and T25 series. The Mini is always in my backpack no matter where I may go. It's an amazing piece of gear. Have to admit, the Trangia drew my attention when I first saw your channel. Trangia - Connecting People LOL Cheers!
I totally agree. I will probably buy another Trangia Micro. I really like the little pot. The problem is that I haven't seen it in Slovak e-shops and I don't want to order through Amazon. Alcohol burners are great...cheap to buy, cheap to cook, small, light, universal and you don't have to cut down the forest for wood. The disadvantage is the temperature limit of the fuel, but that can also be solved.
Thank you. Looking to film myself, but not even knowing where to start. The quality of your videos and angles and perspective is good, so I thought I would ask:-)).
GoPro does not have high image quality (small sensor = bad lowlight and big digital noise) but it is very resistant to weather, it is small and light. These are great advantages when making videos from outdoor activities. Cameras with a large sensor that are weatherproof are out of my budget and are bigger and heavier...maybe I'll buy one someday. A light and sturdy tripod is a great helper.
Bravo on actually using the simmer ring to control the flame! Textbook perfect use of a Trangia Mini! Well done!

Just bought one too last week. Great little stove !!
Yop, it is great.
I always enjoy seeing "proper" cooking rather than rehydrating expensive dehydrated stuff.

And tasteless.

You are absolutely right. Windshield is almost a necessary accessory. My plan is use the Trangia with the Firebox and use the Xcase as a windshield.
I made a wind screen from a disposable tray also and it's been perfect.
You used the kit to its potential, well done!!
It was my first time cooking on Trangia and I wanted to try all the options and how it works.
I've learned the method of making delicious food. Thank you for sharing, and I wish your channel even greater success!
Thank you very much. It always tastes best in nature. Good luck.
Cool demo of what the Trangia can do. Thanks for making this video.
加油,非常精彩!
Thank you very much.
Excellent video. Thank you.
Thanks you too.

Piękno tkwi w prostocie.
Use the yellow plastic bag for the trangia burner, incase if the alcohol spills it wont contaminate the pot.
I know such a bag exists and I will probably buy it. I usually don't have alcohol in the burner.
Great little video! What camera are you using?
Thanks. My camera is GoPro hero 10.

@@vladonpath5306 Like you , I have to start somewhere. I also have to start out using something that I can afford. The GoPro looks like a good option.
You are right. Everyone starts somewhere. A video/photo smartphone is also great to start with.
Like it..
To je tak, když si někdo sedne proti větru a pak ho plamen při vaření pálí.

Be careful with the knife on your body, and also, are you not afraid of bugs? Use insect repellent to prevent bites.😁
A little extra protein never hurt, lol. Joking.
