Have you ever tried vacuuming the bag? We use our large size bread bags and our portable battery-operated air compressor to squish the item down. Works great! My husband helps me as I don’t have enough hands
Thanks for sharing the tough parts too...as I sit here about to cancel an order because I cannot find the item. I think it got taken out of rotation when I last did inventory, but was never de-listed. Or it's a cross listing miss. You are correct, cross listing can be chaos so often! You guys are doing a lot of business with a huge turnover so give yourselves some grace! :)

I bought a bag full of mystery minis once at a garage sale and I sold the majority of them very quickly. I only have a few stragglers left. But they did really well overall. And thanks for the info on the shipping videos!

To my thinking, cross-listing with the amount of product you move and only getting the number of out-of-stocks that you have in the last 90 days, shows that you ARE being extremely careful. Maybe it is Ebay that needs to rethink.
We have only been cross listing multi qty items for the reason you are experiencing.

Love this decision. I've been a fan since the garage flip days and been reselling for 8 years. I'm quite confident in my packing ability but love to put on some shed flips while I'm working so I was absolutely one of the regulars that was skipping the shipping videos

I sold something to a Trifari group and she claimed she never received it even though USPS had it marked as delivered. Luckily, her daughter "found" it and we moved on.... But if she were attempting to con me - what could I do then? Thanks in advance....

I got in trouble for the very same thing. My store is less than four months old and the eBay person told me it would take probably 12 months or so to remove the defect. Very very disheartening for a brand new Seller with excellent ratings from every single transaction so far.
So much easier to pack the squishmallows by removing the air in one of those space saver bags and then maybe roll it? Might be less of a fight and the bags aren’t too expensive. Just a thought

The eBay person also told me when I called because I had a defect that not me below standard that I have been in business for at that moment almost 90 days which was “plenty of time to learn the rules”. For it to take 12 months to correct a defect just blows my mind. So they push you way way way down in the algorithm, but require you to have a certain number of sales to get out of eBay jail. They make it virtually impossible for you to do so as a new Seller
sometimes the delisting on listperfecty does not work. I always go in and manually delete each item on eBay to make sure it deletes. That has cut down on our inventory issues.
I think it would be worth your time to call ebay and have a conversation with them and ask them nicely if they would remove the defects due to cross posting. The worst thing that could happen is that they say no.
Good thing you have a high volume of sales! My volume is much lower than yours, and after cancelling 5 orders im the last 60 days, i was dropped from above to below standard. Now, i camt promote listings, they charge me extra final value fees, and im convinced they are suppressing my listings. Kinda hard to bring yourself back up when they're suppressing the listings.
I don't look who is a top rated seller when I buy on Ebay. I look at the product new, used, price comparison things like that. Don't worry, you guys will bounce right back. Keep the great videos coming. Thanks.
When you cross list put what sights you listed on the sticker. Then when you sell the item you will see every site it's on. Then you can easily end it on the other site or sites. If you can't do it at the packing point then write it on your whiteboard to be done after packing is done.
Vacuum seal bags work great for large plush etc, and they are not expensive

I ordered boxes from Zoro, I am very impressed. I ordered Tuesday morning before noon and they were here Wednesday before 10 AM. I had been ordering from Staples because I only order 25 of each (3 sizes)at a time. The same order with Zorro was over $20 cheaper than Staples.
We have enough technical issues on Ebay, cannot imagine adding cross listing issues. Unless that cross list platform is 101% guaranteed that they immediately remove on all platforms when an item sells, won't touch cross listing at all. Wish Ebay would penalize the Buyers who are constantly on purpose cancelling orders on the Sellers as a joke.

Yes! I’ve been on Vendoo & have LOVED their delisting of sold items! Yes, ONLY if you have your computer on & open to their site. I have no issues with that, since it keeps me off the naughty list😂

Does List Perfectly do auto delisting when it detects a sale on one of the platforms? We use a competitor and the delisting is seamless. I am amazed at how well it works.

I lost my ebay top seller. I didnt know that ebay used the same folder for the items i ended because they sold on other platforms as they do the ones i end to sell similar. I was reposting them along with the rest. 😢
One of the reasons I never cross post. I do $100k+ a year on ebay and I just have no desire to deal with the headache of another platform. Good on those who can make it work!
When something sells or an offer comes in from a platform other than ebay, I adjust my quantity on eBay. On the other platforms, I was using LP and ending listings. Then I found they weren’t ending, so now I always check to make sure it says it ended. That could explain what happened to you on eBay if LP didn’t end your listing properly. Just a thought.
I put in the SKU a note to identify it being crossposted like (/CP FB)
What would help me in your packing videos is to highlight in the title a different type item so we can easily go back to them when we need that particular info. Keep up the good work.

Could you have put those plush in a contractor bag and used a vacuum to suck the air out of them to make them smaller? I've heard of folks doing that but never done it myself.
Could you have vacuum packed them in a garbage bag? I've done that with my throw pillows because we have tons.

I have seen some eBay youtubers just offer a another product from there store sometimes if they are out of stock or the item gets broken. Not sure if this is allowed, it is interesting that some have done this.

Have you thought about trying a cross listing service that automatically removes sold items?
What can mess me up is "sell similar" relisting. So, I end the listing first, sell similar and immediately delete the other. And any listing I end because it sold elsewhere, I immediately end AND DELETE. Because ebay does prompt to relist!
I woukd suggest you move the videos from the flips channel to the shipping channel.
Resell kit will automatically delist on your other platforms but you have to be logged in all platforms at all times.
Yeah, I can see how the packing videos, even though popular, could be wrecking your RUclips channel stats. I watch all of them, but while I watch your regular content every evenng I save the packing videos for when I'm working. Which means that sometimes I "swipe" (ignore) past them a dozen or more times before I watch them in due time. RUclips interprets that as lack of interest, when it's anything but. I watch a big camping channel out of turkey. When they got their big RV a year or so ago they soon found that many that watched their tenting videos didn't watch the RV episodes and vice-versa. On my own channel I find that those that watch "shorts" aren't the same ones that watch full length content. In fact, even on my favorite channels, I myself don't often watch the shorts.
Anyhow, good luck with getting your Top Rated status back. I recently dropped to "Above Average" from TR simply because I sold less (96) than 100 items in the rolling 1 year period. I have zero returns despite offering free returns, zero defects, 100% positive FB, 1day shipping. Just chose to spend some time getting rid of big, mostly vintage, electronic items over the last year. I'm 72 and need to clear some room around here, been doinf eBay since 1997, but the loss of TR hit me by surprise. That 10% helps when you sell a big ticket item.
I was a 'powerseller' for years in the early-mid 2000's but quit the reselling except a few things here & there. Med issues has me out of work & disability will take months, so back to reselling I go! I've kept up with Ebay's ups & downs but what I really need is to see some vids showing people actually listing items. I know it's simple but I can't seem to get enough listed. Do any of you folks know if Shed Flips has 'Listing' videos? I want to see how Sheds or other RUclipsrs do their listings efficiently. Thanks for any help on this!

I might acquire maybe a vacuum bag for packing storage? And vacuuming it down much like when we buy mattresses through the mail online. Your thoughts? Have you ever done this before? I’m curious how they might fluff after being vacuumed down for shipping.

Maybe somehow you can add an*** as a code, or to the name of the product, so that when it sells, you will automatically know to double check the crosslisting app did its job, and how many you have left.
I always look it up 😅 sometimes it hurts but the lesson will last a lifetime 🧐🤣
Regarding cross listing, maybe take one month off from it and do eBay only- Run a sale to move more product and once you get Top Rated back, then cross post again? Seems like the consequences may impact you too much if it keeps happening once your rating is Above standard. When I lost mine, it took 2 months to get it back, because the defect carried over into the next assessment.

I thought list perfectly had auto delist? Maybe you should switch to Vendoo. I currently use Flyp and delist myself and I have had to cancel a few orders for the first time in years, luckly they are not being cancelled from ebay though. Mosty of it has been just dumb luck where two times sell on different platforms at night but one or 2 has also been from me forgetting to delist the item. You will get it figured out.

Regarding the Top Rated Seller status: Have you considered reducing some items to “Must Buy” price level to increase sales transactions short term?
Is there more of a pen and paper way you can do this? Maybe print all of the orders that you need de-list and then physically check them off as you go.
I find when I need to do tasks like this where i have to be careful, I do better having something directly in front of me to manually cross off . That way, if I get called away, distracted, etc., I don’t miss anything

I need to buy photo lights and would like to use magnets to hang them from the ceiling rather than a stand on the floor. Do any of you have lights that could be adapted to be hanging lights? I am confused. Aren't you using a cross listing program that auto delists from other platforms? I thought that was one of the major benefits from them. I can not imagine the craziness of a store your size having to manually delist every sale.
So, you are not explaining what actually happened? Do you use a service? Did you sell an item from two sites and it didn’t get delisted? Or, what actually happened, so that we can make sure that we avoid the same issue??
Are you actually looking at what cross listing is earning versus costing? The hit that you take on eBay could wipe it all out. Just because an item sold on another platform doesn't mean it wouldn't have sold on eBay. There are certainly some items that work better on different platforms, so just list them there instead.

Ok, this may be a pointless comment, because I can't remember for sure if you guys were the ones that didn't have auto delist on or not. I know there was a couple that didn't because they didn't trust it. And I can't remember which program you use and if it has that feature or not. If this isn't you than ignore this comment. If you do have auto delist and you don't have it on then I would suggest you use it. Not to replace you guys delisting yourselves, but use it in conjunction with you still checking it, or double checking to make sure it was delisted. But again I don't remember if it was you guys that said that or if the cross lister you use has that feature. I just figure if it is you it couldn't hurt to turn it on and try it 🤷♀️💜
