      @Mahfireballs 4 года назад +9

      @@HotRossBuns Because he wasn't planning to as actually playing it streaming it would probably mean that he couldn't mind but complain about certain features. And him complaining an critising, showing things that are down right stupid and should have been found in playtesting a couple of campaigns or of the bug reports that he personnaly and or others have send in. Would make for a boring or annoying stream for many and wouldn't be good for his relationship with CA.
      And as he points out there isn't really anything to gain from streaming this new game if he doesn't enjoy it, doesn't enjoy talking about it and doesn't give him (that much) more views. Coupled with other stuff, but mostly him getting annoyed over it I would think. But Legend is way better at this as in the past he always has taken this serie (tw) really to hart and still does. But he no longer is actually angry to see it flounder or see stupid and simple bad shit implemented. As this is his living and he is and has been really passionate about it and he in many way knew better how to fix things or make it more enjoyable for the most part for himself and I'm actually quite sure aswell for the big majority of the players. Still his (bug) rapports or suggestions never actually affected any change in the contrary it very often seemed to be the polar opposite. Which like I said is quite frustrating, especially if it's litteraly your income you see disolve or the game that you "have" to play every day turn in to shit, less enjoyable while you actually know the potential it has and how easily it could be 10x better.
      In any case this videos are ideal for Legend I think he can have a laugh, it covers the new content partially and it fits his channel perfectly. Meanwhile he is way less annoyed by stuff like thisso he could probably stream it but I don't think he will want and I don't think he will to play it either. (So doesn't enjoy really playing it and straming it but I guess he does enjoy just testing it out as he is doing. To see what is possible and find the cracks and how far he can manipulate it)
      In every case that is how I see it and I'm fairly sure that most of what I wrote was around the truth. Still it is only my observation and explanation even if I have seen Legend state his opinion about this and related stuff for literal hundreds of hours. :) But of course everything changes and actually last month I was barely able to watch any vids or streams so I'm not as up to date as normally.
      Probably really overexplained this but well here it is. Have a nice day.

      And in sieges you are royally fucked with an archer based army as well.

    Historically, chariots in the bronze age was for archery and the like - never meant to clash into things, especially not infantry since most infrantry in the bronze age was spears - your horses would be dead in seconds and you would have lost your life and an expensive war asset. Chariots ran down fleeing enemies, shoot them fra afar and and teased enemy units to move and chase them - they were not for doing crazy movie like things. At that time we dont even have evidence of horses willingly charging in battle - it took literally hundreds of years before we had horses breed and trained to do so. I dont care for this game but i hope that one day there will be a bronze age war game that is historically correct
