When I first started playing Fallout 3, years ago I caught myself piece by piece cleaning up a raider encampment in the metro by placing the cans in the garbage can 🤣 after I massacred them. I had to stop myself because I realized I was cleaning. I worked as a janitor at the time. 🤣🤣🤣 and I probably would have kept the raiders in Nuka World except they are such slobs. 🤣🤣🤣 I am apparently the worst kind of parent. "So you won't clean up after yourselves!" pulling out the Splattercannon. . . 😁 oops. ❤ I love in your last scraping video your comment that you've become your mother. 😂

Please grab Snappy Builds. It has so many of the pieces you're currently unable to use/disable/etc. Those wooden trellises over the walkways, for instance. The retaining wall components that are giving you trouble on the side of the welcome center. The missing terrain blocks along the river. These are all things in that mod that you can just plop back in and they snap together and fill gaps and let you remove pieces you want (like the vine trellises) and replace with others. Watching you struggle with those components when there's an easy fix is frustrating lol. I just want to help! XD
With the double layer of bushes, I would try taking out the top row, then try to put planting pieces on top. Plant some purdy flowers on top.
Purdy flowers are always a good idea!
One thing that would pop your effort, but might be hard, is do a fly by showing the "before" and then try to mimic the fly by post-scrap. You can then either do interlace cuts or side by side. Really show off your hard work.
Lore side note there are a couple instances of Cito could have buried a person. Curious if that grave is him or her.
I did that in a couple of past videos. Might need to do that again!

Bethesda didn't give up. You don't start with a flat piece of ground in level design. First you make the world, with all its hills and such, and then on top of that, you use flat grasswork and sidewalks and similar pieces to create the foundation level. The things that are floating were sitting atop these pieces, but these pieces are not always pristine, so they're the pieces you've been deleting. It isn't Bethesda making it float, it's the scrapping that results in it. Without scrap everything, these wouldn't be scrappable pieces.
That said, there are many mods that include the sidewalk and retaining wall and ground texture pieces that Bethesda themselves uses to build up from the flat base world layer. So if there's a gap, it's not hard to find something to fill it with. But it isn't Bethesda being lazy in world-crafting. There just isn't any way in regular gameplay that someone would be seeing that part of a world, so it doesn't make sense to build it, add to the frameright with additional polygons and textures, and increase the build load for something that's genuinely not meant to ever been seen. Lol. We're just asking too much here, and using the game in ways that Bethesda wasn't expecting. :)

So you're telling me. That building isn't apart of it when it is.
The ground is so uneven and I don't want my stuff floating two feet off the ground because I can't put it in the dirt.
@@The_Time_Change I’m not sure what you mean? The building and the ground are not the same, and lots of the ground pieces like sidewalks, retaining wall dirt, etc…these aren’t built into buildings either. Level design is done by layering lots of pieces, and scrap everything lets you scrap down all those layers. The regular game doesn’t let you do that. Is that what you were asking?

There is a mod that has that trellis where the vines are attached but it has string lights on it like christmas and a restayrant sign on it. I use that one alot cuz I like those things for an outdoor dining area. Brings ambiance to a night time meal on the balcony.

I also like to clean up (settlements not just all the spots though haha) but I usually try to leave things like brambles alive if they grow in appropriate places (flowerbeds/lawns). I also use the greener commonwealth mod (i don't remember the title rn) which makes the whole space feel more restored.
Hey just found your channel! Love it! Check out your Place everywhere mod. You can use your PC number pad to move things up down, left or right, and rotate in smaller increments. You just highlight the item...DO NOT click on it. Rotate use mouse, left to right use # 4 and 6. To move things up/down use #8 for up, and #2 for down. You can also lower or increase the increments, use the +/- key for rotation. Use "*"to lower and" /" to increase or decrease all linear movements. I used this mod for about a year before I figured that out. The mod page on Nexus has a short video on all the other uses for this mod. You thought you liked it before...you will absolutely love it when you get it all figured out.

@@diamonddavemctvI forgot till just now, you can make things bigger, #3. To make things smaller its #1. That is wonder full if you are using junk fences and need it to be just a tiny bit bigger. Works well with the pivot hedges.

Well, BEthesda certain left some parts of F4 unfinished and decided "just let player kill everyone" (like the Combat Zone and the robot racing track) and lots of files were never linked to anything But I have also seen RL construction companies doing things that resemble those "mistakes" so maybe it was just that pre-war construction companies cut or even did not build certain corners....

You can capture them in cages...there are cages for most species, I think you'll need mods for gorillas..only ones are the mechanical ones you can set traps for...one lady had cages to capture the mechanical gorillas from the institute. Well...I use to drink Pepsi, gave up pop years ago like 20 years ago....not good for ya, but we all have some vice that isn't good for us. Took a couple weeks and I didn't crave it anymore. why? flavenoids. LOL Another good reason to never consume fake rasberry either.
Hey TGM is for god mode and TCL is for clipping but TCL only works if another command was NOT Ran and since you ran Disable it wont work (your fix to this however is to reload the game)

your playing on PC and your not using workshop framework?
that mod makes what you are doing so much easier, basically it puts you in a fly mode, you could use TCL console command, but the mod just makes it less annoying as it does dozens of other things that make using the workshop much better, just not the latest version of the mod, i'm not sure why but Kingath left in some things in that version that causes issues.
anyway it's the kind of mod for workshop related things and it significantly improves your ability to clean these spaces with far more control, it also has a built in autosave while you build that will exit the workshop and save then it will re-enable the workshop so you can continue where you left off.
it's the kind of mod you can't live without.
another good one, it's more of an addon mod by Kingath, called workshop plus, it has a lot of other useful features for workshop mode.
there are also some mods that automatically disable shrubs and bushes and ugly plants and vines, stuff like that so it helps clean up the place significantly faster.
@@diamonddavemctv Yeah, the problem was you typed tcl while you had an item ID. You have to remove an item ID before tcl
@@ZackarySchejbalCODBO2RGM2 honestly it makes no sense it should be with the id so you can toggle that items clipping
I like your style...just talking normal and impromptu, I'm sure scripted will sound nice but hopefully it doesn't sound like a robot in that you don't do like some of these other channels and you can look around...they sound like a commercial and it's annoying to listen to commercials so that is why I enjoy your videos because you just talk and it's like we're sitting with you while you work on the computer and repair the wasteland.
