This headset looks great, seems odd since I feel they released the prior version not too long ago and I feel for those that bought it just to see this Pro variant release. Overall I think price/quality ratio looks nice.

Looks like the material quality went down on this version . The older version had blue gel infused memory foam while these just use regular memory foam. It's a shame .
The cooling gel earpad should have branding on its side, right Misodiko?

What I meant to say was, if I were to get them without branding then it might be the wrong earcups.
Anyways, I just saw yesterday while browsing in Lazada for replacement on my Blackshark, then there are comments there already of purchases with photos saying it's with the cooling gel earcups but without branding on the sides. & it was from Misodiko official store. Kind of sketchy tbh.

I tried this for my razer blackshark v2 pro and it didnt work i ended up tearing the rubber in the crevis of the headphone behind the ear pad instead of trying to take it out to clean it i ended up ripping it and now half the headphone is gone an explanation of what to do woul have been better then background music if anyone can help me fix it or find somewhere on razers website to send it back for repair or replacement please tag me in a comment to help me
I made a solution for this. Well, you will need to buy another set of ear pads now since the rubber that needs to be attached to the plastic part was already ripped apart.
Misodiko's solution for this is not applicable for earlier releases of blackshark v2 pro since it is much tighter. This only works for later releases.
What I did is I used a plastic spoon to pry it open. You will need a good, fairly thick plastic spoon for this. Dairy Queen's plastic spoon works perfectly for me.
Just like how Misodiko inserted the guitar pick, you will need to the same thing at the rounded corner of the headset where the 3 plastic locks are located. Try to force it a little and don't be afraid of inserting the spoon. Blackshark v2 pro is very well built to a fault LOL. Once you are able to pry one lock (you will hear it), you can work your spoon along the edge, prying every lock until the whole thing comes off.
If I get enough likes on this, I'll probably make a video but I think my explanation is clear enough.

@@nklz I havent bought the cooling gel one yet since at the time I was about buy, its not available yet. I hear people who uses different headsets say that Misodiko's cooling gel is good. You really get what you paid.
@@newbiepro09 Great to hear it. I have older misodiko pads and they are fine, but not great like Brainwavz. Seems like those updated new Gen pads are better, I'm about to get cooling gel, fabric or velour ones, I got to pick one yet
Are these compatible with the Razer Blackshark v2 2023 editon? Other replacement pads claim their V2 pads don't fit the 2023 edition.
I see this uses the existing plastic clip, so I think I'll just buy them and try to make them fit
I was able to get it to work, but I had to cut some of my own holes in the back of the earpads and the process is destructive to the original pair of earpads as they are glued on to the plastic clip on the 2023 edition.
Hello, they are the same shape, but the 2023 version does not have the ability to remove clips from earpds separately like the old version, and the clip part of the 2023 version is glued to the earpads. If you install it on the 2023 version with this earpads, it can only be glued to the removed clip, which doesn't feel very aesthetically pleasing. So we're also thinking about developing a new version specifically for the 2023 model. If the 2023 headphones sell as well as the old version, we will develop them as soon as possible. It is still on the sidelines, as it is expensive to develop a new clip tool.
@@misodiko understandable. I got the wicked cushion 2023 version earpads but don't like them as much as my hobbled together version with your earpads. If you make earpads specifically for the 2023 version I will be buying them.
@@CreepyRapper I'm not sure yet, because to develop the earpads specially for the 2023 version need to customize the plastic part, and the sales of the 2023 version headphones is not as good as it's old version, so there is not much interest, because there are other models currently in development.
Quick question here, does this earpads has strong noise cancelation just like the stock earpads on the Razer Blackshark v2?
They sound almost exactly the same as the og ear pad just feel a lot better on your face and a lot more comforting to wear for long gaming sessions
