    I’m currently working on doing the electrical for my build and hearing this unit has a 20 amp capacity and is industrial grade puts a smile on my face. Going to run another dedicated circuit or two for room to grow. Outstanding work guys.

    Can’t wait to see the “Kraken” on the market. Great video guys.

    Guys, at the 5:30 mark you mention 20amp being the limit of a standard home circuit. Actually, standard home voltage is 120v/60hz. The super brick you have is 5.5A at that voltage. The 20amp 24v is for the output, not the input.

    I love this! When does Kraken release? My 200g runs on Hydros and we have loved it since we got it 2 years ago. Would love this as it will simplify our “controller board” mess and get rid of those power bricks. Lol You guys are so innovative and I love it! 💙🌊

    I have a new 8’ x 4’ tank that I haven’t chosen the lighting for yet. I’m leaning towards something like the tank in the background of this video with six CoralCares and an 8020 frame. If you guys have any details on that setup I’d sure love to hear them!
    Also my Kraken is on order! Very excited to have an elaborate battery backup solution.

      Still working on getting Richard, the owner of the tank, to do a build thread and I think one is in the works.

    Would I be able to connect an AI nero 5 and an orbit 4 to the kraken?

    • @CoralVueTV
      @CoralVueTV  19 дней назад +1

      If they are 24v or 12V power consumers then yes, it is a good possibility that they can connect to the Kraken.

    I relocated fish tanks once. When I was done, I turned on one of my AI primes and it started flashing/blinking and it worked perfect before this move. After about 15 minutes, found a small magnet stuck to the side of the power brick. Removed magnet and all good.

    Will there be adapter cables available to accommodate different pump/ light manufacturers products?

    • @CoralVueTV
      @CoralVueTV  Год назад +1

      Yes, there are four primary cables for the Kraken. The standard command bus, Drive Port Adapter, Force Power, and Force Port Adapter cable. You will find most 24V items use the common 5.5mm x 2.1mm male barrel connector found on the Force Adapter cable. This will be the most popular cable for the Kraken, See here: www.coralvue.com/hydros-force-port-24v-adapter-cable If the 24V item is other than the 5.5 x 2.1 connector adapters can easily be found on amazon to accommodate the connection.
